Misery joins in with the chuckle, although his tone seems to be more on the annoyed side. “It is? I did not realize that, sorry. Perhaps the definition of private has been changed in these lands”, he glances at the two gentlemen in the shop. “Alright, I will get to the point. I arrived in this village yesterday and noticed that it is not the most... should I say normal village. There are winged kobolds flying around and people seem to be scared. You appear to be a reasonable person, could you assist me in possibly helping me to understand why it is so? And maybe help me fix this problem, after all, why should people be scared in their own town, eh?”, Misery talks with notes of sarcasm and somewhat mocking tone, although he makes sure not to be over the top with it. His words could be interpreted as an attempt at subtle intimidation, but rather it is a persuasion of him being here to help. He also wants to see if the shopkeeper has any unusual reactions to his words and if he is hesitant to talk.
Misery: the group is hard to read, never being this farm north or east, you’re still learning the society’s mannerisms here. The half elf begins to stammer a bit “W-w-well you see, it’s not the to-“. That’s what he is able to get out before one of the humans chimes in, much more aggressively and angered. (Not at you, just the situation). “It’s cause of that Chauntea be damned dragon that’s decided to nestle up in that mountain and call us his dominions. Or maybe it’s because he has his spies all over the land watching for any sort of formation or meetings so he can come down and immolate any chance of resistance? How about the pair of giants that match around collecting his offerings and continuously stealing from us so we can barely survive? We have no food, no money, no chance of thriving in these conditions!” The half elf lowers his head a bit and nods. The other human pounds his fist in the table in support.
Thasa: you get a lot of anger and fear amongst the others. As the man makes the list you can hear the others agree as true statements. One thing that you pick up from the half elf, that doesn’t seem to be any trace from the two humans is that when the human brought up “resistance” is the name “Mulptar” come up. Feelings of secrecy and pride correlate when he thinks of that name.
Korsh: the man opens his eyes and and comes to join you. Average height with a blonde frizzy beard. Soft features and a smile before he embraces you. “These are trying times indeed, what wrong do you intend to fix?” As he motions for everyone to sit and join him.
"I m here to find and destroy the King of Ash." Korsh answers bluntly. " And these are my friends. They have the same intent."
"The thing is that we don't know where to start and we don't want the population to bare the brunt of retribution. We would like you to point us in the right direction."
”Great, this means we are on the same side. Now then, tell us about the resistance. Do you have a leader or something? We really don’t have much here. Have you seen the dragon yourselves? How big was it? Giants, you say. When did this dragon come down?”, at this point Misery talks in a more friendly manner, believing that there are no apparent enemies in this shop. Suppose that the giants are of the fire kind, the dragon should be quite big. Adult, if I had to guess. These people should have been struggling for a while now., Misery comprehended his thoughts, ordering them to get a better picture of what is happening in these lands. “We come with light and justice of Torm, we will attempt to purge this dragon and return your rights if comfortable living back.”, he made sure to make it known that they are followers of Torm, after all he used to be a preacher, old habits die hard.
Thasa sends a telepathic message to Misery, using his helm without trying to read the other's thoughts. "He is thinking of someone called Mulptar who is connected to the resistance. Be careful, not all here may know this or even be on our side, we should be cautious."
Misery and Thasa - The men becoming more angered and volatile. Not threatening but agitated by the topic. “There ain’t no resistance, that’s what I just said.” He turns to the half elf “If these righteous brothers want to sacrifice themselves to this dragon so be it, make sure they do it far from here!” As the other puts some coin on the table and they both storm out. The half elf goes silent once more.
The half elf then speaks “Its been some time, eight to nine months. He brings terror to the whole region, and his army has enough mouths to feed to starve us out of our crops and livestock. I don’t know the age, but it is very fearsome. The earthquakes are growing more rapid as the Mountains continue to rise.”
Shelley, Korsh, Anborn - “there are many paths, I think each one will take some time. What is it you think you need to defeat this dragon?” he raises an eyebrow quizzically
”Hold on, the mountains are rising? How so?”, Misery raises an eyebrow to the half elf a d pushes himself away from the counter. He paces back and forth a little, glancing at Thasariel, then asking the half elf again, “Who is Mulptar?”. He runs his hand through his hair. This is not good, eh? Shit. Ever seen a dragon?, he thinks half to himself and half to the ring.
"is this a trick question" Korsh says almost disappointed "This is our first Dragon we are hunting. We need faith. But we are not stupid. We need to be prepared. We need a way in and à way to strike down his cronies."
"We seek to bring peace back to those poor people down there. We will gladly carry their weight on our backs. But may friends are right, we need not riddle and word play."

Thasa and Misery: the shopkeep looks slightly puzzled and amused. “You’re really not from around here, yet you choose to help. Mulptar is a town on the north eastern side of Moonlake. It’s part of the coalition. There are rumors of a rebellion group forming there. They don’t have the numbers to actually fight though. As to your other question, I don’t know how it grows, but it does. Hard to tell how much but I don’t think it will stop until the Ashlord is satisfied.” A way of tension releases from the shopkeep as he looks at both of you, maybe a sigh of relief.... hope. He tries hard to hide a smile, but it freaks in the corner of his mouth before he wipes it away.
misery - the ring is silent
Korsh, Shelley, Anborn: the man stays stern and his facial cues don’t change.... still peaceful. “I think you misunderstand me. I’m not trying to speak in riddles. If I knew how to slay a dragon, I would. I have knowledge of the land and some people. I have faith that someone will free us, hopefully it’s you. Tell me what skills, power, or things you need and I will do my best to guide. I simply just can’t tell you what to do as I don’t know that myself.” He looks earnest and willing, but also tired and almost broken.
Thasa works his spell over the dwarf who was in the room and has remained silent throughout, hoping to see what he was thinking about. He also looks apologetically at Misery for having thought Mulptar was a person.

" I understand. I think we don't know ourselves where to start. I believe we should try to take out the henchmen and weaken the dragon's hold on this place first. And prepare in case he comes. Do you know what type of dragon it is ?"
The man responds to Korsh “it’s most definitely a red dragon, it seems he’s coming of age and this is the territory he had claimed as his own. Territorial beasts, or at least the legends tell. The two giants tour the townships, leaving about 3-4 days between them. If you plan to do anything, make sure to keep it out of the towns. Those kobolds act as messengers, make sure they don’t get away. Do you think you’re strong enough to face the Giants? Mighty fearsome in their own right.”
“No they patrol separately from what I’ve seen. They may meet up time and again, but I’m not courageous enough to follow. If you do follow, be careful in the forest, Chauntea’s presence here has made a connection to the Feywild. It’s easy to get lost if you’re not paying attention.” The man adds to Korsh
“So, how many towns are being terrorized by this dragon? Do you think, if we would be able to somehow bring all of the people in one place, they would be willing to fight?”, a growing dragon with kobolds and giants is a lot to comprehend, even for the servants of Torm. Misery also knowingly nods to Thasariel.
Misery- There are six towns total within the area. Here in Two Stars, next town over North of here is Kront, North of that is N’jast. Heading East from there on the top side of the lake is Mulptar. Heading south from Mulptar is forked from the mountain range. East is Rashemar, then on the western side is Mulsantir - they are in the boglands. I don’t know who’s ready to fight. I know there is a growing resistance in Mulptar. They would have better answers for you. The shopkeep elaborates.
Thasa - the dwarf is wholly consumed with finding some sort of hammer amongst the equipment. Seemingly oblivious to your conversation. He looks rather elderly and maybe his hearing isn’t quite good.
Korsh, Shelley, Anborn- “anything I can do to help, you know where I am. Blessings upon you”. As he escorts you out of the mill.
Turning to Misery Thasa whispers "Well we have a place we could try but it will take time to get there, maybe the others have had more luck. Still not bad for a few minutes work." The eladrin moves cautiously trying to stay close to shadows and be generally unobtrusive.

Korsh moves inside but stays aware of his surrounding.
"We have been sent here to right a wrong and we need your help understanding what has happened here."
Korsh moves to the man and sits in front of him.
