“Of course. I will make haste.” Shelley pulls her glaive off her back and drags it across the coals behind her in an attempt to leave a clearer path back.
This time she attempts to lift more than one person.
(How many are there? Can I make dex check this time to reduce fire damage taken now that I’ve made a path?)

you probe into each mind again and again until they all succumb to your influence. Only the second one is able to resist initially.
suspect A: “ I didn’t murder anyone! I was the only one taking care of poor Alessia. Day in and day out, me, all alone while she lie sick in bed.” Telepathically you get “I can’t be responsible, I gave her her medicine everyday.” The main emotional drive behind everything is best described as nervousness.
Suspect B responds: “I didn’t kill her, she was my love that was taken away. She was taken and now I’m left with these broken pieces. We were engaged, I stood by her even when she became ill!” Telepathically you receive “I had to do something, I couldn’t let them keep doing that to her.” The base emotion filling everything in his mind is anger
Suspect C: “I don’t know what they did to her, but I washed my hands of all this weeks ago. I had no reason to murder anyone. They paid their rent, I minded my business. Telepathically you get “I can’t believe they got me lumped into this!” Delving further the base emotion stemming from the sentiments is Resentment.
Misery: you place your feet in the eroded spots. Roots begin to grow around your legs. Holding them in place.
Constitution Save: 18
you watch as the day turns to night, back to day. The cycle continues for a time that all blends together. You don’t know how much time has passed. You feel the process of aging, but remain strong. You watch as a group of spectators form in a polite mob. Watching a parade, it’s your fellow members that you embarked on this journey with. They are being celebrated as heroes. The invisibility has faded long ago, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone paying you any mind. You stand at the gate, watching, guarding your post.
What would you like to do?
Shelley: on your way back, the coals do not hinder or bother you. You begin to take one of the other people, a feeble old man. You begin to take him to the next path, but a force stops you in your tracks. The other frail man, that originally gave you your instructions says “Everyone shoulders a different pain, you can not expect others to endure a pain the same way.” Turning back you take the old man alone down his path. As you step down swords begin to rise and float above the ground, swinging wildly as you walk down the path.
Dex save: 21. You take 16 halved as you gracefully do your best to dodge out of the way of the blades. As you set the man down he gains the strength to stand. Still venerable, but pride and honor across his face as he is wearing a knights armor and sword. “Thank you, my daughter. But others need your help.” (Not actually your dad, just how he talks)
(i figured) "Of course father. Count on me." If the swords are still swinging I would like to Rage to help tank the damage. Shelley makes her way back to another person. Once back to the other side, she will try and take count of the people that need help.

Anborn: As you say these words. The vision of these people begin to fade away. The mirage ceases to exist as the people are replaced by other floating balls of light. They say in unison “Congratulations, you have succeeded. Drink from the chalice of Siamorphe.” A silver chalice with a golden sun on the side appears before you on a pedestal. It’s filled with a sweet smelling wine.
An open doorway appears glowing in the darkness you are surrounded by. The balls of light glowing to illuminate the way pass that nothingness that you are surrounded by once the illusion had faded.
(you would know that Siamorphe is the Demi power of noble rule. Her portfolio is providing the Divine Right of nobility to rule, and encouraging the responsibility to rule well and wisely for the more common classes beneath them. Her worship is most common among the nobility and their councilors, especially among those who seek reasons to explain why they are in charge. While not technically part of the Triad, she resides in the same plane of existence)
Shelley: (reduce that 8 to a four then). You walk back and the blades no longer effect you. You see you are half way there as only two more rely on your help. Picking up the third; a child. You step down onto the path as it fills with a thick green fog. The fog raises to shoulder height on you.
Misery observes the time change, and looks around in mild confusion. A little panic starts to tread his mind. He looks at the crows and back at the tower. He looks at the crowd and back at the bones. His first instinct was to shout for help, but then the words of the voice rekindled in his mind. He didn’t utter a thing and observed as his friends passed the parade and tried to cut the roots at the same time.
Thasa stands behind the second suspect who had initially resisted him, reaching out and touching his shoulder "Honesty will set you free" he whispers "Tell me what they were doing to her, and then tell me what you did. Do so now, let the anger go."
Again using Detect Thoughts to mine for information, hoping his surface thoughts will give up some details.
Insight if necessary 13 so that should be a 14 then due to Ear for Deceit.
Korth: the dragon takes the damage like it was nothing. He snarls at you and Telepathically you here the command in your head “PROVE IT!” As t stands on its back feet to flip off of the cliff falling to the unseen valley below.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Misery: the parade goes on the heroes celebrate and feast and relish in the delight of the city. You tug and cut at the roots but they hold tight. Time marches on as soon the roots begin to whether and crumble. Even though they died long ago you still haven’t moved an inch.
Con save: 19
Time marches on, you’re at what should be your twilight years now. No one has ever moved towards you or even acknowledged your presence. The kings funeral is taking place. The whole town in mourning. Still not a look to you. In memorial the guards bring around a fine wine for everyone. You haven’t had a drink in decades. The temptation is there.
Dried lips and mouth longed for water, and yet, much like a mantra, the words of the voice were spinning endlessly in Misery’s mind. “Take you your post, be vigilant; keep to the side and out of the forefronr”.
He stands there until he is unable to. He watches everyone drink their wine, and bury the king. His mantra is intersected by a little thought, “I gave you my violin, might as well have faith”, after which he glanced to the sky, then to the tower, then to the bones, and continued to observe the crowd.
Shelley: Con save: 23 (I realize that’s suppose to be 27)
The fog is thick and noxious. You begin to choke on the poisonous fumes. You’re able to resist the poisons effect but end up taking. 17 necrotic damage in the process. You set the child down safely and out of harms way. As you set him down he stands. Purple sash, a crown on his head. In a soft but noble voice wisdom bigger than his age “One left remains..” choking down the fog, it begins to clear as you look back.
Thasa: 17 He only says “The truth...”.you read the surface thoughts. “I don’t know what she was doing. I don’t think the medicine was helping. She was suffering so much. The anger relinquishes to sadness. You know the spell didn’t work so it’s your instinct alone to tell if it’s truthful or not.
With a deep sigh, Shelley smiles at the child brushes the hair out of their eyes and pats them gently. She makes her way to the last person. "I am here to help you across. I will protect you and make sure you succeed." She says and then picks them up like she has the others.

Misery: your lips dry, your back aches as it stands. Without rest, without relief. You lose all track of time as the years go pass. Dozens maybe hundred of years. You’re barely the skin stretched across your bones, your horns have withered and chipped away in the elements of the weather. You forget you’re even able to move. You’re eyes crusted open and dry.
Thats when you see it a demon, pincer like mandibles and a exoskeleton crawling in the night. Stalking its prey. A lone man, hauling his cart after selling his wares all day.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shelley: The fourth person isn’t a fair lady, a feeble man, or a helpless child. It’s a seriously overweight man. Shocked by your presence and too proud to admit it needs help. It begins to struggle and fight against you helping him.
