Through this terrible existence, Misery chuckles a little to himself, as this situation seems truly miserable to him. He calls out to the man, “Run! Run you fool!“, if he even is able to, and he attempts to cast Dissonant Whispers WIS DC 15 on the demon in attempt to give the man more time to run away, if he even remembers how to cast spells throughout this lifetime of isolation.
Shelley: The fourth person isn’t a fair lady, a feeble man, or a helpless child. It’s a seriously overweight man. Shocked by your presence and too proud to admit it needs help. It begins to struggle and fight against you helping him.

(ooc: my athletics is +7, if I can't hoist him easily with that, I will slap myself in the face and expend my last rage to gain advantage on it and carry him across and i would say, "Your struggle is mine. We do this together.")

Misery:
Wisdom Save: 14
The creature shrieks in pain as it takes 12 psychic pain. It runs in another direction away from you. After the initial knee jerk reaction it begins to charge at you.
Misery exhales a sigh of relief seeing that the man ran away, which momentarily changes to a worry. He chants a little and casts Suggestion on the demon, ”Run away and hurt no human, until you can no more!”, his voice is raspy and it hurts even to speak after all this time.
"Did you murder her?" the voice is stronger, louder now, right in the ear of the man as Thasa tries to detect his thoughts again. "I will not stop until I have the truth, you will give it to me, I hope before I am forced to resort to less civil methods." He continues gesturing towards the implements of torture around them.
Thasa: he looks mournful which turns back to anger, tears begin to fill his eyes. “SHE DIDNT HAVE S LIFE ANYMORE! IT WAS HER, she was the one poisoning her!” As he points to Suspect A. Delving deep into his thoughts you get “what was I supposed to do? I had to... I had to... I had to... she’s in a better place now. Not imprisoned by her mother.” The emotions are filled with remorse and regret.... but also confidence.

Feeling the jaws of the demon pierce his now dry flesh, Misery grunts in pain and attempts to cast Suggestion again. “You WILL run away and hurt no living being, until you legs can’t walk”, at the same time he will attempt to speak to it in Infernal and say, “The likes of you have served no will in life, and now you mindless beast, are crawling in places that are sacred and innocent. Begone, before I awake my burning blood!”, and he will cast Hellosh Rebuke as a reaction, Dex save 15 or take 25 fire
Thasa shakes his head sadly "You had no right to take the life of another in this way, so you have commited a murder. In this you are guilty, what I must know is do you have room in your soul for repentance? How can you make this thing you have done find a measure of balance amongst the deeds of your life. What duty can you perform which will appease the wrath of Torm?"
Korsh smiles as he sees the great beast plunge down the cliff.
"This is what is expected of me." He moves toward the edge and looks down. A small voice shouts in his head. Never look down.. Korsh just shrugs and mutters "The leap of faith it is then."
He takes the step that sends him over the edge, closes his eyes and begins to pray.
The beast shakes off the fiery rebuke, but as your command hits its ears it runs off back out of town and doesn’t stop.
The merchant runs over to you. “Thank you, Thank you! You saved me, you watched over me; Helm’s blessing to you.” With that the illusion fades. The man turns into a floating ball of light and flies away. You feel your face and your aging has reversed. Apparently no time has passed. You are rejuvenated. A doorway opens into a white light a short distance away.

Korth: you jump over the cliff. Wind blowing in your face as you reach terminal velocity the feeling of falling leaves your body, just a force pushing against you. You see the dragon flying straight down. The ground though hundreds of feet away is coming quickly. You catch up to the dragon. Radiant lightening crackling all around it. It looks over and snorts as it looks straight ahead, straight down. Not giving up in the race towards the ground.
Thasa: the boy looks to you with a broken voice. “I know the law, I know what it means... I know I saved her. What would you have me do? I’ll serve my penance”. He looks down and stops making eye contact. Just staring at the woman to his right.
Shelley: (lol fair enough) the path gives away to steps. A narrow ditch filled with water. As you move at a quarter pace holding this giant man overhead. You struggle to move under the water as the current pushes against you. If you try to set him down on the side to catch your breath the man starts crawling back to his original spot. You have to make your way in one go.
You trudge forward. One minute goes by, and another, and another’s. Your lungs begin to burn within your chest. Your eyes stinging and shoulders aching. Another minute goes by. The remaining seconds of your breath linger as you draw close to the end. Anything you would like to do as your vision begins to darken?
Misery briefly touches his face, then his body, and finally his horns. Once he realizes that everything is in place, he gives out a sigh of relief and nods. “Alright, I got the lesson. And will try to live by it”, he addresses the air and makes a confident step through the shining door.

"So be it. You must go from here a new man, find yourself s temple of Torm and swear a lifetime of service to him, serve him in whatever way your masters decree, you have taken a life you will give yours to service as payment. In the deeds you perform in his name you may find some measure of redemption although the stain on your soul is dark."
If this ends up being the end of the test great otherwise...
Thasa turns next to the woman, moving behind her "Did you poison Alessia? If, so why? Your heart will tell me the truth."
He uses the helm again to detect her thoughts pushing against her will if necessary, as he repeats the questions in a variety of similar ways.

He prays for guidance and laughs. Freedom.
