Taking the time in the garden and to gather your things. You walk to the door, it opens without an issue. Walking down a short hallway you enter a large dome shaped room. Approximately 75 foot diameter and 50 foot tall ceiling at the top of the dome. Walking on soft sand as it shifts beneath your feet. The stone walls show a warm orange glow. You see in the center of the pit is a 20 foot pit of burning hot coal and fire. The heat is radiating and it’s quite warm in the room that is acting as a kiln. The smoke rising high and filtering out the top of the dome. Your vision is slightly obscured across the room from the waves of heat wavering from the pit. You smell a deep oak smell.
Standing in front of the pit are two very large humanoid looking creatures. Hulking muscular frames with of men, but have the face of dogs. Their long snouts bearing razor sharp teeth. Feet and legs covered in strap sandals, short robes with an open chest reveal half plate armor covering their chest. One holds a sword while the other a hammer. They take a step forward and each spread out their wings. They stand roughly 12-14 feet tall. And wings probably closer to 16-18 tip to tip.
The two Archons rush towards you flying at ground level with tremendous speed. They unleash a volley against the group. Using their swords and hammers in unison battling back to back. Their eyes burning bright with the same intensity as the fire that’s behind them.
Archon 1 vs Korsh
Attack: 19 Damage: 8
Archon 1 vs Anborn

Attack: 9 Damage: 5
Archon 2 vs Shelley
Attack: 16 Damage: 11
Archon 2 vs Thasariel
Attack: 7 Damage: 7
Archon 2 vs Misery
Attack: 6 Damage: 7
As they have drawn near striking out with divine fury, now within melee range you feel an aura radiating from each of them.
Archon 1 is able to land two blows, slicing and carving out a piece of both Korsh and Anborn. Even though the Archons were prepared they seemingly weren’t expecting to see you as quick as you are.
The party is side by side with each other Shelley being in the middle the two archons are directly in front of you but are flying above the ground.

Ducking the blow Thasa continues to stay low rolling to the side and then diving past the archon coming back to his feet fifteen feet behind his adversary, bow in hand. Without time to fully study the creature he aims quickly hoping it is sufficiently distracted by his teammates to not see the arrow coming.
Attack with shortbow 11 for 11 piercing damage plus 9 sneak attack damage.
Shelley enters her rage pulling out her glaive staring down and striking at the first Archon in melee of her, recklessly attacking with all her might (I plan on always using reckless attacks with GWM fwiw)
Korsh looks at Anborn and sends a healing light forward. A strange halo with glowing wings engulf the war clereic for a second then dissipates ( Heal 8 )
Then Korsh tries to discern what is going on. The two creatures coming at them are part of this plane of existence and they have passed the test ( or so he thinks ). Being good creatures Korsh doesn't understand what is going on. ( Religion Check 9 )
(If the roll fails Korsh takes the brunt of the blow and retaliates with eldritch blast Attack: 22 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. )
For some reason the Dam don t show so I re rolling 10
Misery is going to case Dissonant Whispers on one of the Archons, WIS 15 or 10 psychic and must move away for me at full movement. He then is going to inspire Shelley, “Cut em’ in pieces before they get to us!”. He then moves 30 feet away from the party and archons
OOC: you have a d8 to add on an attack roll, ability check, or a saving throw for 10 minutes or until you use it.

Using the opening of Archon 2 swiping at your teammate Thasa is able to skunk away into the getting some distance between you. The arrow strikes true as it pierces it’s flank. You notice the holy aura being emitted by the archon slightly slowed the arrows entry, causing it to be not as effective as you hoped.

Extra Attack: 21 Damage: 19
Divine fury: 8 radiant damage on a hit
Following Thasa’s lead and continuing the strike against Archon 2. Striking with ferocity and slashing two deep wounds across its chest and forearm. You notice too that you’re strikes aren’t as powerful as they should be. In fact the radiant damage from your divine fury is diminished by their own and has no effect in them.

You stretch your hand out and unleash your bolt of energy towards Archon 1. It’s looks to aim true but at the last second it bashed the energy out of the air with its hammer, sending it scattered at the wall.
Misery is going to case Dissonant Whispers on one of the Archons, WIS 15 or 10 psychic and must move away for me at full movement. He then is going to inspire Shelley, “Cut em’ in pieces before they get to us!”. He then moves 30 feet away from the party and archons

Wisdom Save: 15 the archon is hit with the command of your whispers but is able to shake it off without hindrance.
Anborn casts Spiritual Weapon, conjuring up a Celestial Bullwhip to attack the archon that attacked him.
Attack: 8 Damage: 9
Then he casts Toll the Dead. DC15 Wisdom Save or take 13 necrotic damage.
Archon 2 wisdom Save: 15
(Wow I’m surprised they both saved)
like the Eldritch blast from Korsh, the Archon is able to parry the spiritual weapon away. as the spell rings out the archon goes still and hums, countering the vibrations and is not effected.
After your attacks, the archons teleport themselves 25 feet above where they were, simultaneously reaching out and clenching their fist a wave of radiant energy rains down on Shelley, Korsh, Anborn, and misery.
Dex Save dc 13 or take 8 radiant damage or half damage on a successful save.
The two archons then fly another 5 feet higher. The Archins are now 20feet in the air above the group with Rhasa being 20-30 feet over to the right.
Misery casts Hellish Rebuke as a reaction on an Archon that is the most damaged, DC 15 Dex save or 20 fire, half on a success. Then he casts Bane on two of the Archons as an action, DC 15 Cha save or they subtract a d4 from every attack and saving throw. “Curses upon you for touching my friends! Curses upon you for spilling our blood”, the language of Infernal comes from Misery’s mouth, twisting and mending with the fire from Hellish Rebuke and reinforcing the intensity of the curse.

Thasa stands his ground and takes a moment to study the archon he wounded earlier for any sign of weakness he could exploit. He then releases another arrow hoping to strike a vulnerable area.
Bonus action: Insightful Fighting - insight 18 vs Deception from Archon, if I score higher then Thasa can sneak attack for one minute even without the usual requirements bei g met.
Attack 18 for 9 and 11 sneak attack damage (if appropriate)
