LUCK: 63 -> BAD LUCK
Loud wood splintering noises and the roar of fire can be heard coming from the fishermen's landing. You can't exactly see what it happening, but something certainly did.
The claw closes with a deadly grip around the halfling's torso (Doozey takes 17 force damage). The Leader bubbles up a few more words in Undercommon and calls another lick of flames:
To Neya:
Stop pestering me, dwarf!
-> Doozey's DEX saving throw vs. Flame from the Deep {DC 14}: 21, Damage: 5 radiant.
Insult is added to injury as some unholy flames burn the hunter's feet (Doozey takes 8 radiant damage).
Warsh and Ulburto continue to fight. Ulburto is swinging his cleaver wildly, but Warsh is getting visually exhausted.
-> Two help actions are available for those who claim it first. Even the Kuo-toa Leader is close enough now for the advantage to be used against it.
The whistling becomes an outcry of pain. A cry that soon turns into a determined growl as shakes off the watery claw for what could be a final shot. Only this time when he fires, he waits until one of Ulberto's wild swings might unnerve the leader to move... right into a predicted line of fire. And if it should fall, he marks the next furthest threat. "Miss Neya! Do not worry about Biscuit fer now. That tubby one in the back needs a good pummeling, least he summon in more priestly magics!"
Action: Light Crossbow - Attack: 19 Damage: 16 non-magical piercing and magical lightning damage on Kuo-Toa Leader with Ulberto's help.
Bonus Action(IF Original Target Falls): Move Slayer's Prey, on next furthest away Kuo-Toa from Doozey.
"You're right... He's among the most dangerous of them!" Neya said, remembering that the leader was the one who cast the spell that paralyzed her for a moment.
Taking Doozey's advice, Neya moves (to CL3) to give the Kuo-toa leader something else to worry about (that should trigger a opportunity attack from the one she left).
Quarterstaff (two-handed with Warsh's help: Attack: 26 Damage: 10
Reeling from the sudden magical one-two punch from the Kuo-toa Leader, Doozey reloads his weapon and fires another shot at the moment Ulburto forces the common target to sidestep. The projectile sinks in deep (Kuo-toa Leader takes 16 piercing and lightning damage).
Neya agrees with the halfling's strategy and runs to meet the Leader in battle. Her sudden turn opens her defenses up momentarily:
Neya avoids the spear thrust and approaches the Kuo-toa Leader while Warsh distracts it with a feign attack. Two quick swings of her quarterstaff land perfectly on the Leader's neck, but the elbow strike that follows slides right off the extra layer of slime enveloping Neya's foe (Kuo-toa Leader takes 16 bludgeoning damage).
The one Kuo-toa that just missed Neya considers whether to follow her immediately (1), or try to put an end to the large feroucious animal that has been bothering it (2):
-> Kuo-toa Warrior #3's decision: 1
The fishman decides that protecting its Leader is more important, and rushes after the monk (opportunity attack at disadvantage available to Biscuit). It runs to {CL2} and tries to stab the back of Neya's leg:
They both hit their target. The Kuo-toa is slapped again (Kuo-toa Warrior #1 takes 2 bludgeoning damage), while a few more bugs meet their end (Swarm of Rot Grubs takes 4 bludgeoning damage).
(Utar and Graxx are up next. A grappledGraxx is still enticed by the idea of killing the Enforcer next.)
For once Graxx is happy to be grappled at is keeps his prey close...
Graxx can't get the leverage he needs for a proper attack so instead he raises the sword above his head and brings the hilt straight down on top of the Kuo-Toa enforcers head.
Biscuit sees an opening and snaps at the Kuo-toa that gave chase to Neya, but is prevented from fully closing its mouth by the pesky net trapping him.
Eyeing the same Kuo-toa, Utar sends his Spiritual Weapon to help the monk. As soon as the running foe is within its reach, the weapon swings and cracks the humanoid fish's skull (Kuo-toa Warrior#3 takes 9 force damage and is DEFEATED). Inspired by his floating hammer's success, the cleric brings his actual hammer down on a nearby Kuo-toa's chest, crushing it inward (Kuo-toa Warrior #1 takes 9 magical bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED).
Graxx also feels the battle turning and, although his strikes are far for well placed, the Kuo-toa defenses are even worse. The barbarian's first slice cuts off the fishman's staff-wielding arm. The second separates the Kuo-toa from its left leg. The shock and uncontrollable bleeding are enough to kill the fishy invader (Kuo-Toa Enforcer takes 50 magical slashing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED).

LUCK: 13 -> BAD LUCK
(Luck rolls so far: Bad luck: 5; Neutral: 2; Good luck: 2)
Warsh has reached his limit. This drawn out fight is simply too much for an untrained man of this age to take. Exhaustion finally catches up to the ferryman and he drops onto his knees, unable to proceed. As if able to sniff weakness, a flying spear of Kuo-toa make finds the easy target, sinking into the old man's back. He coughs some blood; his gaze crosses Neya's... Warsh falls to the ground stiffly. In his dead hands, he grasps that which he loved most... a purse full of gold.

WAVE 3 - THE REARGUARD
The screams coming from far in the east now few a little closer. Six individuals approach the barricade set up just on the other side of the fire pit, and they look tougher than the enemies so far (with a few exceptions). They all wear black robes with hoodies that are reminiscent of those used by the members of the Cult of the Dragon, but wield different weapons.
(OOC: The other CRAPers have seen at least a couple cultists before, but whether Doozey knows of the Cult is up to him.)
The villagers around the crones hold their weapons a bit tighter. They seem ready to defend the older ladies but fear is quite visible on their faces too. Two of these six new invaders pull up large axes from within their cloaks and move towards the palisades. The villagers are on the other side of these structures.
The Kuo-toa Leader uses the arrival of the rearguard as an opportunity to mend some of its wounds.
-> Kuo-toa leader casts Mass Cure Wounds, healing itself and the lone surviving Kuo-toa Warrior for 14 HP.
Once a bit refreshed, the Leader also order its Spectral Lobster Claw to continue pestering the halfling on the roof:

"A determined lout, this one is." Doozey chides after narrowly avoid a swing. Undeterred, the stoutling fires off another shot just prior to fully taking in new arrival's appearance. Though familiar with the group both through the rest of the parties stories and a thus unspoken run-in with 'one' of its members, it still takes a long moment of silent staring before his eyes finally widen in recognition. And then an all too familiar pain started throbbing in his chest, drawing his mind back to the past.
He manages to hold on to the present this time before the visions takes hold thanks to Biscuit's plaintive whimpering. "H... H-hold on, Brother! You'll free yourself shortly soon! I know it!"Doozey calls, hoping to encourage the beast while he carefully flattened himself against the roof. Action: Light Crossbow - Attack: 12 Damage: 10 non-magical piercing and magical lightning damage on Kuo-Toa Leader.
Bonus Action(IF Original Target Falls): Move Slayer's Prey, on closest cultist(If within 60ft).
Neya continues to fight with her quarterstaff and followup kicks, finding a moment between strikes to threaten the Kuo-toa Leader. It looks a bit surprised that Undercommon is leaving Neya's lips but, after a second or so, it responds.
-> To Neya:
There is only Blibdoolpoolp's firelight in the deep!
The Leader's response distracts Neya for a brief moment, and she misses once. The other two attacks hit the Leader at different parts of its belly (Kuo-toa Leader takes 14 bludgeoning damage).
From above, Doozey notices the new arrivals but focuses on dealing with the most immediate threat first. He releases another lightning-fueled bolt, hitting the Leader's foot this time (Kuo-toa Leader takes 13 piercing and lightning damage). Afterwords, Doozey diminishes his silhouette by going prone on the roof.

The surviving Kuo-toa Warrior sees that the numbers are no longer in its favor in this skirmish against Utar and the Creatures of the Wood. It decides to switch strategies, by attacking the easier target first, after moving accordingly:
-> Spear vs. Creature of the Wood {CL12}: Attack: 19 Damage: 5 piercing.
The new strategy pays off as the fishman's spear sinks into the Creature of the Wood and causes a large chunk of its bottom to detach and turn black (Creature of the Wood #3 takes 5 piercing damage). The weakened creature responds with another slap, while its comrade continues to focus on those pesky insects:
-> Fist vs. Kuo-toa {CL11}: Attack: 12 Damage: 4 bludgeoning.
While the Kuo-toa barely feels the slap (Kuo-toa Warrior #4 takes 1 bludgeoning damage), the swarm of insects finally begins to thin out a bit (Swarm of Rot Grubs takes 4 bludgeoning damage).
On the other side of the eastern palisades, the two cultists wielding large axes begin to work on the villages defenses. Two other cultists approach with short blades at hand:
-> Greataxe vs. Palisade {CL25}: Attack: 18 Damage: 8 slashing.
-> Greataxe vs. Palisade {CN25}: Attack: 23 Damage: 6 slashing.
-> Shortsword vs. Palisade {CL25}: Attack: 5 Damage: 3 piercing.
-> Shortsword vs. Palisade {CM26}: Attack: 6 Damage: 6 piercing.
They make short work of the wooden palisades, leaving only one of the structures still standing, albeit barely.
As the eastern palisades fall, the villagers surrounding the fire pit back up a bit, clearly knowing they are outmatched. They still hold their rusty weapons though, and hesitantly prepare to defend themselves and the crones.
Knowing those villagers will need support sooner rather than later, Utar wheels Glühoof, to disengage from the remaining KuoToa who seemed more interested in the creatures of the woods at any rate.
As Glühoof brings Utar closer to the palisades coming under attack from the hooded cultists, his spiritual warhammer swings for the last time against the KuoToa leader, before fading.
Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Clutching his amulet, Utar closes his eyes for a moment, trusting in his mount. He knows these people cannot be expected to hold out much longer, not against this onslaught. He knows that at present, the attention of CRAP is split, divided, unable to give their full attention to where it is most needed.
A light eminates from between the fingers wrapped around his amulet, and a quiet prayer to Torm is on his lips, sharing their plight and calling on those he most feels would be capable of watching his back at this moment.
Opening his eyes, Utar is flanked by a number of angelic riders, a human equipped with a large crossbow and a clearly unamused halfling female carrying her flail high to his left, a dwarf, clad in robes, hands aflame, and a firbolg, atop the largest horse he had ever seen, greatclub dragging across the floor on his right.
Utar casts spirit guardians, his former comrades galloping forward into the fray as he slows to reassure the villagers and assess the situation.
(OOC I am designating CRAP and all villagers to be immune from the attentions of the spirit guardians. Cultists, Kobold, KuoToa, etc, within 15 feet of Utar must pass a Wisdom save (DC14) or take 3d8 radiant damage (11) or half on a successful save. Their movement is halved within the zone.)

Graxx looks around himself and smiles as he those CRAP members he can see are still standing. His eyes fall upon his fallen steed Edith and the urge for blood returns once more.

The Kuo-toa Enforcer continues to push Graxx around with the assistance of its staff:
-> Pincer Staff vs. Graxx: Attack: 7
Damage: 5 piercing.-> Bite vs. Graxx: Attack: 24 Damage: 6 piercing.
The fishman forces the barbarian to its left and then bites the right side of his torso (Graxx takes another 2 piercing damage, already halved).
The Kuo-toa Leader walks to {CK2} and invokes from the depths a spectral lobster claw out of the rainwater right next to Doozey, on top of a roof.
-> Spectral Lobster Claw (4th Level) vs. Doozey: Attack: 13 Damage: 12 force.
-> Doozey's concentration check {DC 10}: 4 - Hunter's Mark drops.
