You all walk over to the Shrine of Luck, which contrary to some opinions, is a shrine to Tymora, not Chauntea. More appropriate for a blessing on a new group of adventurers.
It is a small shrine, befitting the size of the town but well kept. It appears to currently unattended but as you approach, a young elf woman with braided blond hair approaches from a nearby house. "Well met, adventurers! Tymora's blessing upon you! Is there anything I can help you with?"

Blessed be Tymora. Yes, priestess, you could be of help. Do you know the midwife who dwells out of town? We have been told she has not been seen here for a while, do you know how comes?
Thrann gets a smirk as the priestess approaches the group He strokes his auburn beard while he admires the woman's hairstyle. "That's right, we're lookin' fer th' wifie wha bides oot o' toun. Ony information wid be vital. They ca' me Thrann Wildhammer. Who are ye?"
Waltyr joins the group as they enter the temple and maintains a stoic attitude. He shows great care and respect while in the sanctuary of Tymora knowing that having bad luck is one of the worst things you can ask for. He lets the others talk with the woman as he looks at any paintings, statues, or items of worship inside the shrine. He is most careful not to disturb anything as he looks around.
Benagol tries to ponder the situation and to extort information
Oh, I seee... but, I wonder, how can a woman do if she starts her things...if it takes many hours to arrive to call her and many others to come back to the village, the baby is already born!
I mean, how does it work here when somebody has to call her? do they sleep on their porch waiting for the baby to arrive? Not really practical...
When was last time you have seen her? For the last birth or after?
"She's not the only person who can birth babies. She's a frequent visitor and plenty of grateful people would make room for her in their homes. She was last in town the past tenday, just gathering supplies and trading some extra food from her garden."

Kelden follows the others into the temple. It is still early, if we leave soon, we could make it to the midwifes home today. But we might also consider a journey to the gnomes or the dwarven mines first and then take the midwife to Phandalin on the way back. Noticing the presence of the priestess, he appologises for not noticing her before and introduces himself.
Herman nods to Kelden , pondering his ideas, lolling his head to and fro with the lower lip extended, tinking
Mhhh, it makes sense
The warrior is already fed up about the priestess dancing around the point
The town master is worried about her , it is written on the board. I guess for the thing of the dragon and all? . Do you have some idea why he is so worried? And, even if you don't, for her own sake, we will pass through her house and tell her to come to town. you seem to know her well, it would be lovely if you could share a message to convince her, coming from you...or a brief written note, even better. Once she will be back here, I am sure the town will be grateful to the luck granted by Tymora...
Letting the last part suspended in the air, implying an offering to the temple but not saying directly
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Waltyr continues to listen as the others talk with the priestess. He watches her composure and listens to her responses trying to gauge if she's being fully honest with those questioning her.

Thrann frowns slightly as he gets ignored by the priestess. "Aw'ighty then." He mumbles under his breath, as he steps around the group. Thrann traverses around the shine, casually inspecting the area for its minor details and to see if anything is unusual.
Kelden joins the others out side of the Temple. So, the fastest way to get all three jobs done would be to visit the dwarves first, then pay a visit to the gnomes and on the way back to Phandalin, stop at the midwifes place to take her with us. Since there doesn't seem to be an immediate threat to any of them, this is what I would do. If we leave soon, we can make quite a distance before the sun sets. Does any of you have further business to deal with before we get going?
Mh, Kelden , my friend, I don't know...you want to do too much, don't you? And apparently the other tasks can present some risks and...
c'mon, I don't know you but...I am broke, man! I propose this: let's take the old biddy back here, we get gold, we spend them to be really ready for the other tasks...
dunno. what you all think?

"I think your right Herman it would be the easiest to accomplish as long as there is no complications."
While Herman’s finger was searching for something in his nose, the owner of the finger thinks
for sure there will be complications, for sure
ooc: @dm if ok for you, since the majority agrees to take this way, we shall go to the chauntea temple and talk to the priestess (name was?!)

"She just prefers the peace of being alone. She's rather set in her ways I'm afraid."
There is nothing of any great value in the shire except the large silver coin that is Tymora's symbol.
