Rosri comes through the wall feeling as little nauseous and wonderous at the same time. Never in his life has he seen magic like this. He is awed by the table and the food. He finds his seat and sit down and wait for a sign that he can start eating.
When Gavin start talking Rosri pay close attention to the others around the table, gauging their reactions. Especially Edeleth whom he know would rather not be part of an organization such as this.
Do I notice anything suspicious? How does everyone feel about this revelation?
When Ruskor and his wife step through the wall, dragging with them all the items, Rosris sets his sight on a gorgeous hand crossbow with elegant carvings on the handle and a fine dark blue studded leather with the chicken banner on the back. Although he would rather have the leather armor without the banner on it, he'd gladly accepted it. He figures he can hide it later or maybe even remove it. It would be hard to sneak around if people knew him as one of ‘The Knights of the Hanging Chicken’.
"Wow, thank you Gaving! This will certainly come in handy on our adventures. To the knights of the hanging chicken!" He cheers.
Grunda happily accepts the Warhammer and Goliath sized plate armor she sees. The chicken design above the left breast isn't as crazily obvious as Rosri's on the back, so there is plenty of room to add to the ornamentaion of the armor.
"A fine gift!" says Grunda. She raises her glass and toasts to the Knights of the Hanging Chicken.

Roscoe beams at Gavin and watches at the gear and equipment are unloaded. He looks at all of the amazing pieces of gear and equipment. When he spots the battleaxe not too different than the one he had already, he snatched it out of the pile and sized it up. The weight and balance felt so much better than what he already had. He tried out using both of the battleaxes at the same time and a wide smile crossed his face."We's could totally do this with some practice!,"he says.
Looking at all of the gear, he finds a piece of half plate with a large chicken forged into the breastplate. The halfling didn't often wear armor back home, but he was finding himself in much more dangerous encounters with this lot. He could use all the protection he could get until he was able to hone is skills more. Dawning the half plate, the hafling looked nearly twice as thick as he did before.
"To the knights of the hanging chicken!," Roscoe repeats.
((Roscoe added Battleaxe +1 and half plate +1 to his inventory. ))
"Hanging chicken" was getting more and more home-like, a feeling both comforting and unsettling, awaking thought Laievis did not want to concentrate on right now. Distraction in a form of a magical items with the symbol of hanging chicken for a banner was very welcomed and very efficient: he did not remember seeing anything so hilarious for a long time. Laievis squinted and tilt his head a bit - nope, a chicken still looked like a chicken. He contemplated the idea of a polite refusal, but then his eyes fell on a beautiful crossbow... So beautiful, in fact, it could be decorated with pink bunnies and blue ducks - and still look gorgeous.
"Forgive me my greed, Meryn!" was all Laievis could say picking up the new weapon. After that defeat, a light silvery Breastplate with less conspicuous banner on it was easier to take. "I wholeheartedly thank you, Gavin, for these unexpected gifts!" Whispering honest but a bit distrait praises to Meryn, happy Laievis returned to his sit with his new toys in hands.
Roscoe returns to the chair with his name. He happily climbs up and plops down where he can watch the rest gather around the table. He was forming new little families all over the place now and it looks like his family just expanded. He'd seen some of the others in the tavern when things went a bit crazy but he had a few too many ales to be of much use. The halfling smiles as he looks at the others enjoying their gifts.
Edeleth's eye is immediately caught by a longbow of ancient Elven design. He lifts it reverently from the rack, wondering how it came to be here in Dwarf country. It feels good in his hands, as if it has been waiting for him.
I don't use shields, he thinks, looking at the rack of armor. But maybe I ought to. The memory of that gnoll spear is still fresh in his mind. But shields were awkward and couldn't be used at the same time as a bow. He would think of shields in the future. For now, he lifts a suit of armor that seems made for a druid, its leaf-patterned studded leather reinforced with slats of what seems to be some sort of horn, bone or possibly tortoise shell. A shield-shaped boss in the center of the breastplate, probably once marked by the by the heraldic crest of some elvish lord, now bears the arms of the Hanging Chicken.
"I am no Lord, and you are no Knights, but we sure can live and die as such. No King or Government to order us around, no Court to squabble amongst ourselves. Just our Courage, our Wits, our love for each other, and this Tavern as our Castle."
Edeleth sighs and wonders if the kingdom of Lomalos started that way, before the descendants of the five founding families started jockeying for position among themselves. Somehow he doubts it. He imagines the founders' journey to fight the evil wizard Grimmerang with Maeglin and Artan Lithelon desperately trying to keep peace between the opportunistic Aldalire siblings and a self-righteous Aethel Vithan, while Syndra Simul buries herself in magical studies and ignores everything around her and Myriil Naica sneaks off whenever there is a hope of finding a bottle of booze or a game of chance. Just as Lomalos politics stand today.
Perhaps wearing a silly chicken emblem is not beneath the dignity of a Lomalos courtier after all.

Cade - Seeing the parade of weapons and armor looks at Ellethy and Baron and smiles he goes over and sees a a sling that appears to be of much better quality and material than what his current sling is made out of with a chicken on the back of it...he doesn't want to give up his own because it was given to him by his father when he was learning to do small game hunting, but he knows he can just put it in his pack and keep it for sentimentality. He is pretty happy with the armor that he was given with before their adventure began, but it only covered his torso. He wasn't sure what else to get from the assortment and taking a look back towards Baron he thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some armor for him, but he wanted to talk to that upright dog and see what the deal with him was about before he did anything of the sort. Walking back towards Ellethy and Baron he shows them his new sling and then sets off to find the upright dog that he saw when he came into town.
Saerirra took her place at the table, listening closely to Gavin's speech. Unsure if this means she has, in a sense, betrayed her clan or The Alliance, as this groups seems to be entirely independent from both, nor does she even know if she was ever officially part of the Alliance or her clan's military. But she was definitely fascinated with the magic items brought to the group. Particularly a very well made ring made of silver with a brilliant sapphire affixed to it. Once she slipped it upon her finger, she felt it's protective glow. She did not care for blades as her parents had commonly used in their time, however she had noticed a beautifully crafted rapier, hilt made of shiny silver, and its blade with strong steel. The only weapon that had interested her at all in her training, she took the rapier for herself, hoping not to ever use it, but decided a means of close defense was necessary.
"Thank you Gavin, and thank you too Ruskor, for these fine items, and for gathering us here under a new banner. The fight for peace never ends, but I am sure we all shall continue to pursue justice for as long as we draw breath. As a member of the Silver Clan, even I have seen hardships, not just recently, both from myself and others. And I swear to do everything I can to make as many people's lives as possible as peaceful as possible."
She holds up her tankard of water when the inevitable cheer goes around the table.
Edeleth notices Rosri watching him, and he shrugs with a wry smile. "I am not immune to a certain amount of greed. Especially as my journey has proved to be a good deal more hazardous than I anticipated, and fine equipment of this sort may preserve my life, or the lives of my companions. As long as no binding oath is required, and the aims of our fellowship do not conflict with those of my kingdom, I see no harm in taking part.
"In point of fact, my king might prefer that I help deal with threats here, before they can penetrate as far as the Westwoods," he adds, wondering how far his opinion has been influenced by the gifts of the beautiful bow and magnificent armor. Gavin might be as shrewd a politician as any Aldalire.
He raises his glass and joins in the toast, "To the knights of the Hanging Chicken!"
