The Jarl sees the Mark on Saerrira's forehead, as she points at it, and his eyes widen.
"Indeed, it seems the Silver Dragons have found their voice with you, Lady Saerrira. Just a few more of you, and we could end this war painlessly...perhaps your newfound influence with the Silver Mountain would help us get St Elora on our side. King Alaric V of Mastandia lives there, and commands the largest army in Talaveroth, after all. And the Dragons on the Mountain above the City...well, they could be a game changer..."
Uther has arrived as well with Saerrira and Peshley.
As he walks In, the Jarl salutes him warmly. "Welcome back, my friend! Have a seat!" Some of the Dwarven Nobles around the banquet table seem utterly distgusted to see an Orcish Knight freely roam their Halls. But Hærrad Hammerstorm quickly silences their reactions with an iced cold gaze that could turn a Troll into Stone.
"A message from your father has arrived, and Dastarus is sending 500 of their strongest Soldiers! The Gods be praised! The Glatiator Mercenaries have already left the City State in Kalverak, and are on their way to the three Peaks. But it's 500 miles from Dastarus to the Three Peaks, so even at a fast pace, it will most likely be a few weeks for them to arrive. Hopefully we can hold strong until then. By the way, your father is sorry he cannot join them himself, but he is currently busy fighting off Drow incursions in Kalverak. Looks like the bloody Matriarchy is getting bolder by the day...maybe when this is over, I can repay you and your father, and we can go send them back to the slimy hole from which they came, all together!"
General Thanika Meake speaks.
"With Hunar Shatterstone's 200 Dwarves, and my 300 Humans, we have 500 Troops to reclaim Pinekeep, as well as 2 heavy catapults and a trebuchet, which I'm praying we won't have to use. If we could reclaim Pinekeep without destroying it, we can utilize its strategic location. And the City still has a solid 1000 Soldiers stationed in it. Gornar's forces have most recently been estimated at roughly 400, so we have the numbers, but they have the high ground, and fortifications. If we can disable their siege weapons, then the 15th Squadron can fly in with 50 Eagles, and retake air superiority. If only there was a faster way to get the Gladiator Mercenaries from the North West to get here faster, we could reclaim it a lot easier..."
Roscoe seems rather pleased with the current task at hand. Pebbles had become quite a close friend during their short time together and Roscoe wasn't going to allow someone to keep his friend prisoner. When the others leave the room, he looks to who remains and says, "We's have to save him. We's just need to know where he's being held."
"Gaston has drawn a sort of map of where he thinks Wrathmaw Keep is," Edeleth says. "I wish you could have seen it, I know you have great skill with maps. If we can rejoin him at the dwarf encampment, that will be a good place to start from."

"I have not personally met Sir Pebbles, but for you all to speak so highly of him, I very much would like to. And with everything said this far I am liking our chances."
Zyman thanks Elixisys and returns to the meeting. "Depending on Gaston's drawing skills, I might be able to safe Sir Pebbles while avoiding a major fight. I've discovered a way for me to travel around obstacles by traveling on the dark plane. It's not easy, and Sir Pebbles might be in for a bit of a shock, but in terms of infiltrating the Keep, we might be able to avoid certain strongpoints that way. All I need is to approach within fivehundred feet of a space I can remember, visualise, or describe by giving distance and direction. I could unfortunately only bring one person with me each time, and can only do so twice, before I need to rest, given the strain of navigating the dark plane.
But I did want to mention it as an option, since I might otherwise be less stealthy than other members of our group.

I'll stick by you and if we need it we will use some of them to help us along. And I would be very interested in learning about the spell you're using, if it is something I could learn. "I wonder if, after we take the prisoners out, it would be possible to transport explosives in," says Edeleth. He has used up a great deal of his magical energy for the day, but he starts pondering how the spells he is still able to cast would be useful. "Once we are near the castle, I ought to be able to determine Sir Pebbles's location."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rosri listen to them talking, making plans is not his forte and so he let the others do it. In the meantime he leave his seat at the table and take a round around the room to see that there are no invisible enemies in the shadows. He then say out loud “Can’t we dig under the keep the same way you did earlier Edeleth? If we can calculate where to dig we could get in from below..”

"That is certainly possible, though I doubt I could manage it without a night's rest first," Edeleth agrees. "Much more amusing, of course, if we could remove all their prisoners without leaving a trace of how it was done, but the important thing is to get them out."

"Well with this mark, I have been granted some measure of power from my clan's Patriarch. With it I may be able to lessen the enemy's numbers without ever having a battle. I do not think it will take care of all forces within Pinekeep, but certainly any advantage we all can give ourselves is a welcome opportunity. And with the enemy distracted by me, you can have a small group infiltrate the city to rescue Sir Pebbles. Then, once he is free and clear you can send our forces to engage whatever remains within the walls."
Saerirra then turns to her Monk brethren.
"Are any of you skilled in stealth missions? If so, perhaps one or two of you can aid the rescue effort."
"I'm not stealthy, but I am able to turn myself and two other less stealthy people invisible. I am also able to cross the last distance to the target as outlined before."

So, it seems Team1 will be focused more on reclaiming Pinekeep with the Army, while Team2 will go "commando" with Shorgreg and the Dogs, trying to rescue Pebbles, and find/possibly destroy Wrathmaw Keep.
If that is okay with everyone, then we can switch back to Team Threads, and let the next Chapter of the War of the Three Peaks unfold...
