Erred digs a small coin out of his pocket. "Call it in the air, and if it lands with the side you call face up, you keep the coin. You lose, pay up a copper."
De'ran shakes his head. "Some may call this an easy probability question. Two choices, one would think would equal a 50% chance of it falling heads or tails. But dear friend, each coin is weighted differently. Each coin, curved differently. No, that bet is for suckers." He smiles. "One copper may not sound like a lot but I've managed to hold on to the few I have by not choosing a side." He starts to walk away and then. "It shall land tails."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh ho! So it is a bet, then. Well, let's see how the pieces fall!" With a flourish, he tosses the coin high in the air, catching it with a similar flourish on the way down.
Sleight of hand: 26
With a shocked expression, he sadly displays the heads face of the coin. "Bad luck, my friend. Double or nothing?"
(Having gotten to know Erred over the last few days, you know he can be quite light fingered, when the occasion arises. He also considers every occasion to have arisen, you have found.)
De'ran continues walking away and just chuckles. "Good luck getting your coin. Time to rest for this elf." De'ran wild shapes into weasel and runs quickly behind the inn and out of sight.
"I heard a priest talk about destiny and I think it always sounds great and like you know you're going to suceed don't you think. You just have to have faith in yourself and the gods will also be on your side. You just have to believe."

Brill begins to open his mouth and seems to think better of the first words that were spilling out. “steadfast faith is a powerful thing. Destiny always seemed bigger than the gods or priests, to me, butI can’t say I know. What is our destiny, Gryak?”
Erred will ignore the philosophical talk and spends his evening in the inn and look for any gambling activity, adopting a more innocent, fun loving persona to set folks at ease. If nothing seems to be going, he tries to start something up in the same vein.
You all settle for the night. Erred takes a trip to the inn, that is located by the street. It is a single building, the nearest village being multiple miles away.
Erred finds a table to play cards at. If you want to play, make a performance check to play fair or a sleight of hands check to play unfair.
With a flourish and a standing backflip, Erred takes his leave of the significantly poorer players at the inn. With light steps and heavier pockets, he returns to the campsite and fumbles to sleep without a second thought.
Having returned from the wooded area behind the inn, De'ran quietly makes his way to camp and nods at Gryak as he shows signs of going to sleep. "Go ahead, I'll keep watch." He climbs up into a tree and leans back on it. He survey the area before entering his elf trance. He starts to remember the first time he was out with other "soldiers" and the camaraderie they developed. His mind continues to wander inside his trance....

De'ran whispers to himself. "A good thing I didn't stay in my weasel form if there's a predator flying around. Surely, I would have been in some trouble." He looks around one last time and resumes his trance.

Gryak will stand guard for around an hour while the rest sleep. And if nothing happens he will go to sleep and let someone else keep watch.

De’ran, you may occasionally hear a flap of wings, like a large bird making its way around the branches, but every time you look around... nothing.
