What she can't remember is her family, her home, who she was. But that doesn't matter now, the Clasp is her family now, Emon's underbelly her home. In the aftermath of the Chroma Conclave's attacks the Clasp took her in, taught her how to survive, and named her Sybal, after their dead cat.
High Elf / Barbarian / Noble / The Arcana Pansophical
Valen Eld’th’ay is a young elf born to a long line of respected Wizards from the Elven city of Syngorn. However, Valen demonstrates few- if any- of the traits usually found in his people. Where an elf of his stature is meant to have poise, discipline, and social grace, Valen finds he is something else. His poise is stiff, his discipline shaky, and his social skills are... trained, but not naturally endowed. He may wear the frills and fancy jackets, but there’s hot blood boiling just beneath the surface.
Valen’s first knew it during a lesson in swordsmanship. His brother, Mindartis, enjoyed provoking Valen, and pushed him one step too far with jab, after jab with the practice sword. Valen doesn’t remember much about that first time, other than the blood... and that Mindartis would never again provoke him so openly.
Rather than try to close that path off to himself, Valen saw it as a road to distinction and strength. He opened himself fully to the strength of his body, learning to control the power that let him use his body like a battering ram.
His talents were not unnoticed. The Arcana Pansophical sees his birth and unusual talents as an opportunity. They have reached out to him to see how he performs handling some work. Valen knows an opportunity when he sees one, and is ready to rise to the challenge.
