Putting the holy symbol around his neck, “Would anyone like a share of this coin? These creatures won’t have much use for it. There is also some incense here, if anyone needs it for spells or meditation.” Handing out to the loot to whomever wants it. “We should do a quick search of the town, ensure no other threats are near. Once we know nothing will be at our backs we can check the keep.” Walking to one of the boulders, “I saw knows signs of siege engines as we approached the town, these boulders must have been thrown by giants, I despise giants.” (OOC: giants are my favored enemy). “What answers can we get from this pathetic thing”’ pointing at the goblin.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Giants? Why would giants destroy the town?" Eldon looks at the goblin. "I had been hoping to ask him if they saw anything about the town's destruction, anything that could tell us what happened here, but if you think it's giants... I still think we should ask him what he saw."
Eldon's gonna try and remember what he knows, if anything, about giants: History 11
Barakas - Stands over the goblin tied up goblin at the ready with his Quarter Staff and looks at the others and says, "Not all of us need to interrogate the goblin...I know splitting up is I'll advisable, but if we are expecting a fight with giants we need to prepare for said fight. I volunteer to stay with this thing I may be able to help get information out of it."
Eldon doesn't recall much information about giants, other than they once ruled the lands before humans. Zana yells into the temple, her voice echoes throughout but she doesn't hear anything in response.
"I doubt that if there are even any giants still around here, that were we to fight them we'd win. Two worgs almost did us in, I say if we see a giant we turn tail and run, report what happened here to the enclave. Which we should probably do anyway... Regardless first we see if there's anyone left in the town. To the keep? Bring the goblin, when he wakes we can ask him if he saw anything."
The group decides to press on and will drag Beedo, the unconsciousGoblin, with them for the journey. They follow the path south as they're inbound toward Nandar Keep. On the way, they pass by the Hulvaarn Farm, which is located behind the Trading Post. Their cottage backs onto a fenced-in potato and turnip garden. The cottage wasn’t damaged but a rock fell on the garden and killed a man. His crushed corpse is visible underneath the rock.
In front of the farm, is the Trading Post. Mounted above this building’s entrance is a circular blue shield emblazoned with a stylized golden lion: the symbol of the Lionshield Coster, a trading company. The door to the trading post hangs open, and the Emerald Enclave initiates can hear a ruckus within.

Will the party continue going toward Nandar Keep or are they intrigued by the ruckus?
Kade crouches low and motions for the party to stop. "I'm not sure engaging more enemies with an unconscious goblin in tow is the best strategy. We should kill the filthy creature and be done with it. They showed no mercy when they attacked this town, thus they deserve no mercy."
"Kade, I think we've settled on the possibility that giants were the creatures to attack the town. I doubt goblins could've rained down all these boulders. Besides, do we need to attack whatever's in there? Seems like needless risk to me. Perhaps we should just sneak by, goblin in tow. Maybe the sneakiest cast an eye in the trading post, see what's causing the ruckus?"
Barakas - Hearing both Eldon and Kade's discussion about the noise coming from the one buildings stops moving, puts away his quarter staff, and retrieves his handaxe and takes up position behind the goblin, but still keeping a hold of it, he then addresses them by saying, "We went through a lot of effort in order to keep this goblin alive for information Kade...killing it now would seem to go against our goals since we were sent out here to investigate for goblin attacks and until we have answers for why they are attacking we won't have completed our investigation...(he readies the handaxe next to the goblins throat)..., but if we do what you suggest we better find another way of obtaining information...so, what will it be?"
Kade puts his hands up in resignation. “If all you wish to do is sneak past, that is what we will do. But after this creature gives us the information we want, he will answer for his crimes.”
(OOC: I swear I’m not a murder hobo, haha! Just RPing Kade)
Barakas - Moves the blade of the handaxe away from the goblins throat and says to Kade, "Ok...let's get someplace so we can interrogate it." Barakas moves around to the goblins feet and proceeds to continue to quietly move with the group.
Barakas will drag the goblin along and pull him to the side of the Trading Post, next to the Hulvaarn Farm. The goblin is still unconscious however. Will you try to awaken the goblin now?
Barakas - Still hearing the noises coming from the trading post says to the group, "We should find out what is making that sound. If it is more goblins we need to know in case this (points at the goblin) tries to alert them when being interrogated.". He will pull out his handaxe again and ready it while still holding onto the goblin on the ground.
"Why don't we set a trap, see if can't coax out whomever is in there?" Seeing no one disagree with the idea, Kade will move 30ft from the door, readying his bow.
