The goblin cowers furthermore. "The Dripping Caves are about a mile north from this village. We took refuge in the Dripping Caves when the wood elves of Ardeep Forest drove us out." The goblin concludes.
OOC: I don't believe I can dismiss all three effects of Thaumaturgy as it says only lasts a minute or can be dismiss an effect as an action, but if I am wrong let me know and I will change my post.
Barakas - Standing after having been kneeling above the goblin Barakas dismisses all three effects of Thaumaturgy and says to Kade, "Kade, you may do with him as you wish...I don't believe there will be any more useful information we can learn from him." Walking between Eldon and Zana he looks at Eldon and says, "To be fair that (using his finger to indicate what took place with the goblin) is not my area of expertise either, but I'm sure we all have some darkness in our history." Thinking about what the goblin said he tries to remember if he knows anything about the elves of Ardeep Forest.
Looking a the others of the group, Kade takes out his dagger and moves toward the goblin slowing moving the blade past the creatures face "I take no joy in killing, though you deserve no mercy. Run towards that bridge, jump in the river, and pray to your gods that we never meet again." Kade cuts the bonds holding the goblin and points towards the keep with the broken bridge, "Take any other action, or make any sound and my arrow will find your heart."
Barakas - Watching Kade cut the ropes that held the goblin Barakas walks over and collects the rope and will put it in his pack, after all it may be cut and stretched in areas, but it may still come in handy. He looks at Kade and will quietly say, "I am rather surprised that you would release him...alive. What changed your mind about his fate?"
Beedo darts across the square. Instead of going toward the bridge, he runs past the Nightstone Inn to head toward Southwell Farm. Before Kade can fire an arrow, Beedo starts shouting something in Goblin.
Kade can take a reaction to see if he can shoot Beedo.
Barakas - Seeing that Kade was willing to keep his word to the goblin and was willing to dispatch him for not following the directions given he says, "Indeed." Looking around at the rest of the group he says, "I know some of us want to check out this town, but I feel that it would be a useless endeavor. Instead I think we should go look for this cave that the goblin talked about so that we can confirm his story. Before we do that however we should go and see who the goblin was attempting to shout towards." (Indicating with his hands the direction that the goblin ran) "Shall we?"
Eldon sighs at Kade, "I don't think anyone was disagreeing with you Kade. The information we got of him was the only reason he was still around." He then turns to Barakas, "Given what the goblin said, I think you might be right. Still I doubt we should go right away, and as much as it pains me to do so when the townspeople could still be in danger, I recommend we wait for the night before entering the caves. It would be unwise to do so in our weakened state."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Barakas - Hearing what Eldon said Barakas replied, "Very well a rest would do nicely. This way we can also come up with a plan on what to do once we get to the cave." Barakas finds a wall to rest against and will sit and mediate for the time being.
Barakas doesn't get enough time to rest unfortunately, as Beedo had alerted two other goblins in the village before he got shot down by Kade. From behind the inn, a goblin emerges and another emerges from the farm. They both dash toward the trading post with their scimitars in hand.
Side Initiative Roll Goblins: 12 Party: 7
Due to the distance, the goblins aren't able to get within melee range in this round as they dash even closer to the Trading Post. It now goes to the party.
The two goblins are both 50 feet from the Trading Post.
As he is pulling out another arrow, "You were right to keep the goblin alive for questioning, I do not mean to sound so harsh. All this death and slaughter fills me with rage". Letting the arrow fly at the goblin running from behind the inn.
Barakas - Seeing his companions act towards a sound he will stand up and move towards a doorway while getting out his quarter staff he will cast Shillelagh on it and before going to the side of the door to wait he will take a quick peek at what is coming.
Eldon grits his teeth, looking down at his stomach wound, before raising his shield in front of him and moving his full movement toward the goblins, readying himself for their assault. (He takes the Dodge action.)

"He seems to be pretty good at this." Eldon whispers to Enzana.
Enzana nods, "quite the trick" she whispers back.

The goblin continues to squirm in an attempt to break free from the ropes.
