(I think, given your position, moving 160 ft would eat up your action. You could still make that attack, but it would be at disadvantage due to the long range. I don't think there is a controlled movement action of any kind that will get you within non-disadvantage ranges of the combat below, nor within spell range barring some feat or eldritch invocation.)
Uther glides onto Peshley's Eagle, he yells "Thanks Pesh" as he grabs onto the eagle feathers for stability. "Laievis is descending, they will need backup"

“That was close,” Peshley calls over her shoulder. “Hang on.” Peshley signals the eagle to dive, following Laievis toward the chaos of the battle below. ((moving 160ft, following Laievis))
Give us a second, dear BBE! We are talking tactics :)
So far can say, I do not see reasons for disadvantage on shooting, should we take a normal move - 80ft. The target is not moving, we are comfortably descending and will be well within shooting range - 260ft while max is 320ft.
(If the bow range is 80/320, that means 80 ft is your normal range, and 320 is the long distance range. Firing between 81 and 320 means that the attack is at disadvantage. My longbow is 150/600, but I took the sharpshooter feat so I can shoot in the long range without imposing disadvantage on myself. So I think it comes down to that, whether or not you have that feat or some similar effect, which Jabthar and I just don’t know about yet, but would very obviously concede to if you did.)
Ok, the conclusion - both eagles spend action in dashing towards Red Dragonborn. No shooting. As a bonus action Laievis will cast Sanctuary on his eagle. At the end of the round we are supposed to be at 180 ft, correct?

OOC: Okay Team1, I'm back! Again, sorry for taking a week off in the middle of Battle. Here is what we have so far on ROUND5:
ROUND5 RECAP (NOT FINAL)
1) The Dwarves down below clash with the Dragonborns, killing 6 (11 Casualties so far).
Sir Pebbles tries unsuccessfully to negociate with the Tortle Archer
Shorgreg attacks the Dragonborn Leader, who uses his Hellish Rebuke as a Reaction to cause a burst of flames.
2) Saerrira is now hitching a ride on Laeivis's Eagle, 340 feet up. She may still take her actions
3) Down below, the Dragonborn soldiers attack the Dwarves, killing 9 more (13 Casualties so far)
The Tortle archer shoots 2 arrows at Sir Pebbles as an answer, snarling at him. One of the arrows hits Pebbles in the leg, and explodes with spiky thorns.
The Dragonborn Leader attacks Shorgreg with his Great Sword, slashing him again. Shorgreg grunts, but is still alive...that last blow could have easily cut a horse in half, but the old Iron Clan Veteran seems okay...
4)Laeivis, Peshley, and Gorlahk move their Eagles 160 feet down, to an altitude of 280 feet. Laieivis uses his bonus action to cast Sanctuary on his Eagle. Cade and Uther may still take their actions.
5) The second Air strike happens.
IN OTHER WORDS: Saerrira, Cade and Uther may still take their actions before the Air strike.
Then the Airstrike happens, round 5 ends, and Round 6 will begin
(I think you mean Laievis, Peshley and Gorlahk are at 180ft, because 340-160=180, in which case Saerirra will take her turn, she had already used her bonus action to inspire Laievis, main action is to cast Guiding Bolt at 3rd lvl against the Dragonborn leader.)

(Yes, a dash on our eagle would get us to 180ft.)
(I suppose it is time for my held action, yes?)
(DM's call, I suppose - we might also be waiting for Gorlahk, Cade, and Ellethi before starting Round 6.)
(We are still in the beginning of this current round because Laievis had high initiative, then we breaked for strategic planning.)
(Are we still playing?)

Atk roll for Guiding Bolt: 22 to hit
Damage: 29
And next attack against him has advantage.
Yes, 180feet is what I meant...also, guiding bolt only has a range of 120 feet, so you're still 60 feet short...
(With Spell Sniper, I have double range on certain spells, Guiding Bolt being one of them, so my attack hit.)
