Cade - Thinking that there may need to be another mount pooled together some funds with Peshley to get Laievis a mount for the journey giving him the opportunity to name it himself if he so desired. "Here you go!", and hands off the reigns to Laievis.
OOC: Alright we all have mounts.
Cade can keep his money, Laievis got his horse some time ago. But we are finally ready and moving to our destination.

(So let's say we're at the point where we've left the city and are on the road towards Turniptown.)
As Peshley rides out of town with the others she sends her familiar to fly ahead of them. She hopes that is will provide an early warning of anything ahead of them on the road.
“So how do you think we do this? I mean I know they were at turnip town, but that was a few days ago. Are we certain thy are still there?”

"Well, how intelligent are Gnolls? If they don't bother covering their tracks then if they're not in Turniptown then we can just track them. I'm more concerned about what we do once we find them. I've never fought Gnolls before. Or.....anything really. I'll be honest. This is my first time being on active duty for the military."
OOC: Do we want to say that we traveled all day and covered about 30 miles and made camp or do we want to PBP the traveling aspects?
OOC: I say we are at camp unless GM wants to pull us back for a particular incident. Along the way we would have talked basic strategies but sitting g around the campfire would be best place to talk shop.
Cade - Trying to think back to his readings of historical battles and trying to remember if there are any that could be considered similar to this situation.

(I think that's best. Just say we've made the journey unless the DM throws an encounter at us along the way.)
Cade - Finally after traveling a distance it was time to make camp to which Cade thinks, "Thankfully I have a spell for this." He then casts Create Campsite.
Create Campsite: When you cast this spell you create a campsite fit for six people. When casted you conjure 3 two person tents, a campfire with a spit roast, a 10 gallon water trough, and an outhouse.
OOC: it won't recognize the spell when I try to make a tool for it.

"Oh, excellent work Cade! Okay, clearly Peshley and I will share one. You fellas can decide among yourselves for the other two."
Cade - Walking up to Uther and Laievis with his now mastiff (Baron) by his side says to them, "Gentleman, seeing as there are three tents and the ladies have taken claim to one I am thinking you two can share one and me and this fella...(pats Baron on the his head and side)...will take the other. We're going to get settled in and then I'll see you all by the campfire."
(Are these tents the standard barely waist high type or the bigger ones that are like small houses?)
Um...I'm not sure reading the description it doesn't give an indication of the size of the tents, but if it conjures up a campfire with a roast, 10 gallons of water, and an outhouse I am going to go to say think that the tents are of the good variety...kinda like medieval glamping.
(So the bigger ones basically, just checking. So now I suppose we would need to wait on the DM to say approximately what time it is so if there's time to chat or if we should just bed down for the night.)
And so, having gathered enough supplies for the journey, our heroes embark on their quest...
Uther and Saerirra both ride Taranonn, a large muscular horse. Peshley trots along on her new purple striped poney. Laevis is riding his own horse, and Cade is scooting around on Baron, his new riding Mastiff.
According to the maps, on horseback, the journey should take about a day and a half. You depart from the stables, right outside the main City gates in the Lower Peak, and start making your way down the Mountain, traveling down a snaky narrow road.
As soon as you leave the City, and its warmth, traveling down below the clouds, the old winter weather of the Nâr Bârak Mountains hits you in the gizzards, and reminds you that the Outside World is a harsh place....
Snow starts falling in thick sheets, blurring your vision and slowing you down a bit. The icy wind starts numbing your fingertips and tows...

"Unfortunately I have no idea. Until arriving in Three Peaks, I basically spent all my time in St. Elora."
