This is a private thread for the new Talaveroth sub-campaign. What you do in this campaign will still affect the main World, and might help or interfere with other groups storylines.
The bedroll shifts slightly as it slowly rises and falls with the halfling's breath. Most likely dreaming about running through fields of flowers while the creatures of the wilderness carry out their day leaves Roscoe with a slight smile as the snores ebb and flow.
Rosri slumber gently in his bed. If you can call it that. He is used to much nicer ones. But thanks to his special night cap he has pleasant dreams as always.
(I rolled a nightcap that gives pleasant dream in the trinket section, no65 i think it was)
OOC: DM, don’t know if you saw it earlier but I pickpocketed the half orc on my way to bed. He was drunk and asleep on a stool. I rolled slight of hand: 11 without advantage and 17 with. Did I find anything? :D
(Assuming the five days are over, as the DM stated in the other thread)
Edeleth sat on the tavern roof, watching the sun rise over the mountains. His five free days at the inn were almost over, and tonight he woul prepare a pocketful of goodberries for the coming day.
His efforts in Three Peaks had met with little success. He had encountered some druids of the Circle of the Land, who had formally initiated him into the circle. They had shown him to some gardens and groves, even here on the mountain, but the Naranda cuttings had not approved of them. Too rocky, too high in elevation, too dry, too cold, too foot-trodden. As for his attempts to earn some traveling money, they had failed utterly. Those wealthy enough to have substantial gardens had required no more help. At the few outlying farms where he had inquired, the farmers had called him 'my lord' or 'aren't you that archer hero' and looked gobsmacked when he asked for farm work.
The three dwarves who had vaulted out of the tavern on that pole turned out to be regular customers, and never missed a chance to point him out as the amazing archer who had pulled off that amazing trick shot that saved their lives. As a consequence, his table was always surrounded by people who wanted to discuss archery, invite him to enter tournaments, and even one nitwit who had attempted to challenge him to an archery duel to the death.
Edeleth was weary of people and city streets, and the thought of seeing Roscoe's wilderness was more appealing than ever. The rogue would not be a problem. Edeleth would just...be cautious.

Rosri watches as Edeleth climbs up on the roof of the tavern and follows him.
"We're leaving tomorrow, right?" He says with wonder. "How can you all be so calm? Were are we even going?"
He had come to like the elf and the rowdy hafling, although they might not completely trust him yet. He was a rogue after all and he had even said as much.
Rosri thinks back on the last few days. He had gotten to know the two a little. Apparently Edeleth was a druid, a mysterious magic user who was in touch with the plants and the forest. And Roscoe was a barbarian, used to living on the rode and in the wild.
"I know you are a little short on money" he say to the elf after a few minutes of silenc. "and that you couldn't find work due to the fact that you are famous now, The legendary sharpshooter they call you downstairs." He hands over a small pouch and in it is 30gp. "It is not much but take it. you can call it a tuition fee for teaching me about the forest and plants while we are on the rode." He grins. The time for his adventure was near. He could feel it, and even though he was scared, if it was these two, then maybe he would feel safe on the rode.
In Edeleth's experience, money traveled from him to rogues, not the other way. Was this a gambit to gain his trust? Edeleth could think of no way that would benefit the halfling.
Still, his pride would not let him accept charity. Rosri had no responsibility to replace what others had stolen.
Edeleth gently pushes back the offered coin pouch. "Keep it. Tomorrow we go to a place where money has no value, and it is a better place for that."He frowns, trying to make sense of this odd halfling.
"Why a rogue?"he finally asks. "You do not seem like the criminal type. Wouldn't you be happier in some more respectable line of endeavor?"

"Well.." Rosri says and looks down into the emptiness, and realize for the first time that he is thousands of feet up in the air in a roof of a chicken building with nothing to catch him were he to fall. He gets dizzy and backs up a few steps. "Not all rogues are bad. Some are really nice actually. There was a man at our estate a long time ago, his name was Loker. He taught me most of what I know. He was a servant who worked for my father, helping him with various tasks. Mostly spying I think. But he told me about the work that rogues do was necessary. What would happen if the king didn't have a spymaster? Then he wouldn't know what his enemies was up to. And what would happen if an adventurer party such as ours would end up in a dungeon filled with traps? What I'm trying to say is, yeah sure there are mostly bad ones out there, but I don't want to be like them. I want to be someone people can depend on to keep them safe from enemies they can't see or even know are there. And I think that.. ehm I think that is what Loker was. But to get to that point I need to make a name for my self. And to do that I need to join a Guild or go adventuring. And since no guild want to accept me I have to take the hard rout.." He looks at the elf. "How about you mr. Edeleth? You don't seem to trust rogues very much. Guess you have had some bad experience in the past? How come you are willing to team up with me now? "
Edeleth, Roscoe, Rosri and Gundra, as you are all hanging out at the Hanging Chicken on a random day, a strange but adorable looking dog strutts in, looking lost...on his necklace, there is a scrollcase attached...
Btw, whoever pick pocketed the Half Orc did it successfully, and stole 5 gold out of his coin purse. We'll see if he ever realizes, he still hasnt noticed...
"I suppose I am simply getting used to your presence," said Edeleth. "It helps that you haven't robbed me yet."

"Ofcourse not!" Rosri looks a little shocked. "I would never rob a friend!"After talking to Edeleth for a while Rosri notices that the sun has risen and the new day is here. He heads back down to the common room and orders up some breakfast from the barkeep. After breakfast he heads out in to town to get some provition for the rode.
He needs the following:
Rations for the road
An extra set of clothes, preferably green to fit in with the new party.
An extra set of thives tools
If possible a healing potion.
If DM can tell me what I can find and what it cost? :)

I vote for Roscoe :D since we're up on the roof? And he seems like an animal person. :D Definetly not Rosri though. He is SUPER scared of dogs.

Rosci you know you can get all of those goods for a discounted 20 GP at Ruskor's Castle of Junk, which is literally a giant building full of random objects from floor to ceiling where you never know what you're gonna get, but by Moradin he's got it!
Meanwhile, Laeivis and Roscoe attempt to get the dogs attention. You may roll/ try any animal handling technique your character would know
After his shopping he returns to the Dangling Chichen Inn. When he enters the common room and sees the dog, he freezes up. When the dog notice him, it rushes over to get some attention and Rosri faints on the spot. When he comes to after a few minutes, he ses an enormous giantess standing over him. "GAAAAAAAAHHH" and he faint again.
Zyman spent the last few days deep in his books. Not that that would be unusual, he did however have a minor breakthrough, with some definite results. Apart from the new gothic look of his notebook, he could sense that he was onto something in his research, and that he was making progress.
Yesterday was the first time he noticed some of the other customers in the bar. Sounded like they were heading out to adventure. Though a bookish type, he had always known that he’d need to head out into the world and apply his skills for real. Now seemed as good a time as any.
Seeing one of the brave adventurers fainting at the sight of a simple dog however, he starts having second thoughts. Bending over the stranger, he tries to wake him again, calm at the fact that he seems to be okay physically. In a quiet whisper of a voice, he says: “My name’s Ozymandias, or Zyman for short. You passed out, is everything alright?”
