At being addressed as "Mister," Tovar spontaneously starts laughing. After about thirty seconds of this, during which time he has scared away a third of the local bird life and potentially displaced a sturdy vertical bumper, he wipes away a tear. With a few dying chuckles, he replies "Now...aha! Now is that any way to be calling your brother, my... ahumph... dear. But yes, it seems that certain exchanges are in order. My good Khrook! Where to be finding the forge of monetary exchanges?"
Embarrassed by Tovar laughing at her, Ruby conveniently turns a colour matching her name, wishing the ground would swallow her up. As he continues, a frown forms on her face, and electricity begins to crackle between her fingers, almost imperceptibly if you weren’t looking for it. Sensing she was losing control, Ruby slips one hand into her overcoat and grips her wand tightly, almost using it as a lightning rod to dissipate her energy. Taking a few deep breaths, she awaits the reply from Khrook.
Khrook laugs along with Tovar, maybe to feel included or maybe because he thought there was a joke somewhere in there he was afraid of the party knowing he didn't get, who knows. "Any forge will do. Each forge got molds for droplets. Each of 'ems managed by big boss Brimstone. So you find a forge, you can make droplets there." Leading the party down the pier you make your way down to the seaside part of New Oyjan.
The haphazard streets are covered with chunks of rubble and rock. The air is filled with the smell of brine and The Cycle most certainly notices the faint smell of decay in the air. As you turn a corner around the corner of an improvised watchtower built on top of a ruined building onto a small clearing among crumbling ruins that functions as a town square the source of the smell meet you. Directly to the right of you, leaned up against the building is the carcass of a large whale. There are currently several rats having a blast, scavenging small pieces of stray meat off if the whales bones. At the tail of the huge beast of the sea a couple of elves and humans are cutting out cubes of the last meat, stacking it on a cart. They all nod as Khrook comes by and the goliath heads over to their group. "Right, I's headin' to Cap Shorah with 'em meats. Forge's over there." He points across the square to a brick building with an anvil shaped sign hanging by the door.
The square itself is rather empty, every now and then a weasel runs across it, chasing a rat, with a child chasing the weasel again. There are also several other storefronts and a wooden building with a large ball of rolled up rope on top of it. You guess the ball of rope could be about 6 ft in diameter.

Ravi grins hugely at that. "I've not a candle to hold to your cleverness, son of man, but my work is solid enough." He loosens his warhammer and holds it aloft. "I can't claim Svaðilfari here, though. My father would tell you it has been in our family for generations, but who can say?" He turns the dull black instrument this way and that to try to catch the light, then returns it to his side. "In the end, it's just a hammer, however well-made. That is enough."
He turns to the rest of the group, then considers before saying. "An outsider would learn much about their mettle by walking alone here, I think. Still, I would be happy for company." He waits a moment, then walks toward the smoke coming from the nearest forge.
Gunnar shrugs at the statement of a simple hammer, “Frankly, I would figure that a kindred spirit would know that the simple things go a long way in our trade. For all the clever tips and tricks we may have, a mastery of the simple is necessary above all else.” He laughs, “After all, who needs a hammer that fires arcane energy, a thump will do all the same.”
He’ll walk with Ravi.

Tovar curiously and cautiously sticks his head into the forge and looks around. He very nearly has to slip in sideways to accommodate his bulk, but he manages without difficulty.
The anvil shaped sign above the door is emblazoned with the name "Fire and Brimstone". The tinging of metal against metal can be heard before you get within the door of the decently sized smithy. The room is symmetrical with three sets of anvils, forges, quenching barrels and everything else a true smithy needs. To the left of you you can see the source of all the noice. A dwarf, with a fiery red beard speckled with gray hair and black soot. On the opposite side for where he stands there setup seems ready for use although the coals in the forge look like they're slowly dying. The final forge, straight ahead of you as you enter looks like it haven't been used in a long time, but is kept as tidy as can be.
The sweaty, bare chested dwarf turns to you as you enter. "AH, brother!" He looks directly at Ravi puts a soot covered hand to his chest and leaves a hand shaped mark black mark on his bushy chest hair before addressing the others. "Welcome friends, to the Fire n' Brimstone smithy. What'cha want? A new hammer? Horseshoes? An edge so sharp you can cut a hair in half? Come on spit it out!"

Focusing on her future, rather than the past, Ruby had silently walked beside Tovar to the blacksmith's, collecting her thoughts. The intense heat from the active forge brought her back into the present, and she replies to the dwarf. "Droplets, mister. We need droplets made."

He grasps svaðilfari. "And I find myself in need of a work permit, it would appear." He nods in Gunnar's direction and continues in Dwarvish . "That one with the construct could be of great use to this place, as well- he has skill. Where is there work to be done?"
The dwarf nods as he hears the words "droplets" and walks over to the tidy, unused forge picking up a series of molds and carries them over to his forge and nods at a crucible in the corner. "Right, bror. Help me make a couple droplets and well see about that permit. Toss the gold into the crucible, melt it down and pour it into the largest mold. I'll see to the paperwork while you work, greit?" He tosses a couple of large tongs on a workbench and a leather apron to Ravi before walking over to a small cupboard in the corner.
He speaks to Gunnar over his shoulder as he tries to find the necessary papers. "My brother here says you're not so bad either with your shiny piggy and all. If your looking for work you can set up shop anywhere if you've got the materials and time or just rent the spare forge in here. If it's fighting work you all are after I guess you could talk to the glommies up the mountainside, bloody pansies can't even fight for themselves."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ravi smiles and catches the tools. "Greit." He grips the tongs, but sets the apron aside- he's been many a long mile and years since apprenticing under the mountain, but old habits die hard. He walks to the crucible, looking back to the others. "I can take care of my own, but you'll want to tally your bits if you're converting them."

In his large palm rests ten small, clean gold pieces. He looks expectantly at the rest of the party for confirmation of a joint venture in this instance.
