Maxine manages to tie the rope around the prortruding hook fifteen feet above her. Once the knot was tied, the magical hand continued to tie five more knots into the length of rope, reaching her comfortably. With the rope and the footholds, climbing out of her predicament should be easy enough.
Roll for an Athletics (Str) check, DC was 15, and is now reduced to 5. Upon a success, Maxine reaches stable footing and can explore, help, or otherwise act within her compartment of the ship. Any movement is halved though, as the floor isn't level, and it is as a result far more difficult to move around.

Bertrand immediately thinks of checking the medical cabinet, but finds the bow of the ship a good five feet below them, and at least fifteen feet away. Professor Snively remembers himself that he had left the Gazetteer in his own room, at the back of the ship. Looking around in the cargo bay, his porters find crates filled with wine, bales of cloth, several crates filled with breast plates, large and reinforced crates filled with solid silver bars, several sacks of coal, and chests filled with tongs, hammers, chisels and other blacksmith tools. Most of the items seem in good condition, though some of the breast plates are dented. Most of the crates bear the same symbol- a large L.
As they search through the crates, they notice a moaning, coming from the Brax, the first mate. He is barely alive, stuck between two crates and with a bloodied leg pinned by a heavy barrel. "Please help… me. My leg's crushed and I think I broke some ribs. There should be some medical supplies in the doctor's cabin toward the bow. And there's some strong liquor in the officer's mess, at the stern."

Berrus manages to hack through the strained rope with a single, sharp blow, rolling away from the ballista as it crashes through the railing and tumbles to the jungle floor 80 feet below. He rolls to the side, so as to slam against the railing himself. His heavy armour cushions the blow enough that he will likely only take some bruises away from the ordeal, and he gets up and stands unsteadily upon the main deck of the ship. What he's most upset about in this precise moment is that his hand axe got stuck in the ballista and also fell to the ground. As he looks around him, he sees Shae standing a couple of feet away, with Zip attached to her, the Captain hanging in the ropes that tied her to the helm on the quarterdeck, and Flax hanging of a broken beam off the forecastle, with nothing but the forest floor below him.

It looks like the leg might need to be amputated. He seems to know this already, as he's asking for some liquor to dull the pain. The Professor determines that lifting the barrel now might be a bad idea, since he could bleed out before he could be treated. Given how weak he already looks, he likely had already lost a quite substantial amount of blood and was in shock and close to dying already.
You surmise that he has less than a quarter of his Hit Points remaining. Any shift of the weight or the ship would likely kill him.

After she made sure the rope will hold, Maxine begun to climb her improvised stairs. Str check: 11
It proved to be easier, than she expected but much harder than she hoped. Finally at the top, she slowly moved towards the nearest tree branch - to get something to hold on and safely look around.
“Bertrand, toss me a bolt of that cloth, then you and Cliff go up and see how you can help—maybe rig up some ropes to help keep people from falling or get medical supplies to the injured,” directs the Professor.
Battered and bruised himself, Snively crawls carefully over to Brax and starts using the cloth to tie a tourniquet around his leg in the hope of preventing further blood loss. He says,”Hold on, Brax, we’ll do the best we can for you.”
Snively tries to make mental contact with his Unseen Servant, directing him to retrieve medical supplies and bring them to him.
Faekin manages to unscrew one of the screws. It takes him a good five minutes to do so, but the dagger has enough purchase on the screws to hold and to slowly help undoing them. At this rate, he'll be done with all the screws in about half an hour.
The professor uses a strip of cloth and a close by piece of wood to start applying a tourniquet to Brax's battered leg. His unseen servant returns a short while later with a small leather bag filled with salves, bandages and splints, and brings it to Shae, up on the main deck.
Maxine sees the captain tied to the helm about ten feet in front of her, hanging in the ropes. The branch had destroyed much of the floor of the mess hall, and so she could see from the top of the quarterdeck into the rooms down below. She can make out a large desk and several overturned books, parchments and other documents.

OOC: Just to get an idea where is everybody on that scary picture. Maxine has to be to left - either on top of stern (under "W" or on the branch somewhere under "r" - on the horizontal holding to the vertical). Berrus is somewhere around too. The rest is in the middle part?
"I'm really beginning to like you." Shae is pleasantly surprised yet again by an unseen servant handing her a small bag with medical supplies in it. She'd accept the bag and immediately secure it to her person in an inside pocket of her cloak. "Thank you." Feeling the new weight of these supplies, she'd well with responsibility. Shae would start untying the rope from her waist and securing it onto the railing. Shae, I wouldn't advise leaving yourself untied. "I'm not just going to stand here and watch every thing unfold. People need help. Now."
Now that she could move freely without possibly endangering Zip, Shae would take another assessment of the area. "Psst. Friendly ghost being. Are you able to get our dwarf Berrus some rope? He needs it to help that man on the ledge." She didn't really expect it to even knowledge her, but it was worth a try. "Oh! Where's the professor?" She'd place a hand over the bag of supplies, coming to realization that it may have handed it to her to get to the Professor. Shae would go looking for the professor.
It doesn't take long before Shae comes across one of the Professor's porters. "Where's the Professor?". With a nod of her head, they point her down into the cargo bay. Their answer makes her fearful for the life of her academic companion, but when she arrives seeing him trying to help a wounded crew member with his shirt and hands bloodied, she rushes over with the supplies.

if the answer is yes, his clockwork device (firestarter) and a Control Flame cantrip can put the fire exactly where it needs to be, at Shae’s Instruction.
At Shae’s repeated request, Professor S mentally directs the Unseen Servant to deliver the rope and help boost the man on the ledge (Flax).
Maxine wouldn't know anybody else yet, since she stayed in the cargo hold. But after climbing up to the fork in the tree branch, she can see a purple haired human, a dwarf in heavy armour, and a gnome wrapped up in some rope on the main deck. She saw a gnome and two human porters search the cargo bay for supplies. Close to her, the captain of the ship is tied to the helm, seemingly unconscious or dead. at the front end of the ship, she can see a human crew member hanging off a beam with one hand.
No, despite all the excitement Maxine did not forget about her faithful rope. But it was no use now - too far to help the one who needed it most. Although, others could do something. May be? Maxine whistled (absolutely un-lady-like! but loud) attracting attention those in the middle part.
"Hey! Someone is going to fall! Right now! There - at the end of a beam!"
To Maxine's surprise her words were answered immediately and a rope floated to the falling man. Before she joined others (she was not sure she should - too much weight) she went to check if Captain was still alive.
Upon being shaken, the captain wakes up, dizzy, and confused. Dried blood cakes the right side of her face, from when she must have hit her head on the helm. The captain's eyes strained to make Maxine out as one of the crew or one of the passengers, but failed. It seemed that Captain Thasselandra Bravewing wasn't sure whether she had suffered a concussion, or whether she was face to face with a scavenger.
Although the rope floats over to Flax, he is hanging off the ledge with a single hand, his other arm standing off at a weird angle from below his left elbow. Although the unseen servant is trying to help, it is all but enough that Flax manages to hold on, he doesn't have sufficient strength to pull himself up onto the ship with a single hand alone.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Berrus is gauging the distance between him and Flax gauges the wind etc. he then ties a rope to whatever sturdy section of the ship that is near him walks about halfway to the stern section to get his footing. "this is why i like good solid ground 'neath me feet" he mutters before turning and running full bore towards the break between the midsection and the fore part of the ship. about a foot before the break he leaps.....
If Shae needs his help, Snively will stay there. If not, he will make his way up to the deck to see what the shouting is about—it could be that person who is about to fall!
If Professor S makes it up to the deck, he should be able to assess the situation more directly. In this case, he instructs the Unseen Servant to tie the rope around Flax’s legs and waist, then loop it over the beam so that when it is pulled from the other end, it will tend to pull Flax up to the beam, and if he loses his grip, he would dangle from the beam.
if he doesn’t go up top, he obviously can’t give that kind of specific instruction. In any case, he will need some strong people on the other end of the rope to make it work...
