"I have no strong opinions one way or another. Thus, I deferred to your own judgement." Tefkae said as they went back to examine Eight Bit's structure and the previous mistake, wondering where some liberal use of corrections might better success. "If you would like to otherwise try, it is suggested that no more time be wasted on talk until this task is completed."

Zack walks closer to 8-bit, watching the thing struggling with work that requires more strength. Thinking it through he says, "Do you think if we work together, we can do the lifting ourselves?"
If allowed to do so, Zack will attempt to help 8-bit with the heavier objects that are needed for repairs. (Even though Zack has a STR of 8)
"Very well," Captain Obaysch heads to the railing of the side of the ship. With a strained pull the railing snaps off in one long piece, leaving several stubs beside it. "We are going to have to manually control our movements as the rudder is broken." He tosses it towards those above deck as he heads to the railing on the opposite side, once again straining as he begins to pull it off. "Blasted back, this ship requires a masseuse..." He mutters before looking to the group. "Right, have any of you used oars before? It is quite simple, when 'stroke' is called, you press the flat of the rail into the water."
Those above ship note that the waters break again as a large amorphous shadow begins to appear in the rift between the ripples. It is difficult to determine the true form of whatever this thing is, as if your mind cannot fully fathom the creature in front of you. The pup begins to whine and curls up behind the helm, hiding.
(If you wish to row, it will be a Strength (Athletics) check. If you wish to call the 'stroke' to synchronise the rowers, it will be a Charisma (Persuasion) check, effectively a leadership test.)
Down below deck, Zack is working alongside Eight-Bit. Neither of them are physically powerful, but with some teamwork they manage to get some of the weaker parts of the hull reinforced. For the time being, it looks best to head back above deck, though the monodrone seems more focused on using its mop to clean up the little droplets of silvery waters that have penetrated the ship.
Victoria determines her Persuasion is higher than her Strength. So when someone else picks up the oars she is ready to Sync with everyone to row. She'll start when she sees everyone up top.
Seeing that Zack and Eight-Bit had everything well in hand, Tefkae heads topside first for a more direct examination of issues. "Unit Tefkae reporting for duty." They say nonchalant as ever. Even if they notice the 'shadow' rising from the sea, they try to focus on it, only to look away. Then to try again, only for things to repeat again. As if some internal processess were alerted to the danger, but unable to comprehend it, tried to dismiss it for the time being.
Once give the order the warforged takes their place, dismissing Mr. Pepper to its pocket dimension as if an afterthought. If there's time in between strokes, they try to keep themself overclocked and ready for the next wave.
After finishing up his work below, he heads up. He's the last one to join the others in rowing but he takes an oar. He has never rowed a boat before but common sense and book knowledge tells him how to row in theory. I mean it's not magic science so how hard can it be?
Athletics: 9
Apparently Zack underestimated the difficulty of rowing, or over estimated his own strength or some combination of both since he sucks at rowing.
Victoria keeps the rhythm steady as the group "rows" to influence their movement as the speed of the ship very slightly increases. If there were a crew of perhaps twenty and a proper set of seafaring gear, this might be feasibly doable. With some co-ordination behind them, the ship is moving towards the archway as the ship wobbles and shakes. Zack and Tefkae see part of this large shadowy being brush against the side of the ship, causing it to rock. "Keep paddling, we are almost there!" Captain Obaysch calls to the group as the archway gets nearer and nearer.
(Any further actions or are we happy with keeping rowing etc.)
With the group continuing rowing, there is one they hadn't been keeping an eye on; Belgrun. "Blasted beast." He calls as he readies a javelin, hurling it at the shadowy source by the side of the boat. The javelin disappears into the depths as the boat rocks violently. Without the aid of the railing, Belgrun falls into the waters, disappearing from view.
"Hold on tight!" Captain Obaysch calls as there is a sudden blast of what appears to be blackened energy like a geyser from just behind the boat. "We are almost there!"
Can everyone please make a Dexterity Saving Throw.
Tefkae and Zack manage to keep their balance as the ship rocks and sways. Captain Obaysch, Victoria, and Ankor slip and fall, nearly falling off of the ship. The ship is so very close to the archway as a low rumbling noise is heard from behind the group, the shadowy geyser expelling some sort of gaseous form out of it.
"Hold on!" Captain Obaysch calls out as the ship slowly begins to pass through the archway. As its tip passes the threshold, there is a low glimmer of a faint grey light as the ship slowly disappears from view, as if it were being disintegrated inch by inch. "Hold on!" The captain repeats as one by one the group begin to disappear beyond the archway, the last thing they see being the shadowy mists attempting to envelop the group, but missing by mere inches. Everyone begins to feel their senses distort, balance being lost and vision failing before falling unconscious...
It is hard to tell what was going on during that time. A strange dream? There was a boat sailing the silvery skies of eternity, and a motley crew of companions. A hippo-man, and a strange half-robotic round thing. There were ruins, destroyed pieces of architecture of old scattered in the seas of this eternity, and some other things; shadows of unknown origin, in small forms. Then there was that larger one...
You awaken, your body feeling drenched in a mixture of murky water and cold sweat. The area around you appears to be a dark and muddy riverbank, with grey blades of grass lightly moving in the chilly breeze. Blinking a few times, your senses begin to slowly return once again. However, there is something amiss; nothing appears to you in colour; it is like looking at the world purely through darkvision, but it is obvious that this place has illumination. How can you tell? When you look up, there are dim grey stars scattered over the sky. However, it is only a smattering, perhaps two dozen total stars visible in this clear night.
Looking more locally, the ship from that dream you had appears to have crashed into the river bank, its side ruined as the hull is shattered on one side. Collapsed by the side of it is the hippo-man, his colourful attire now sodden and only visible in shades of grey. Looking past the ship, there appear to be faint lights off in the distance; lanterns, perhaps? They seem to bob in the nightlight, a little too far away to determine their origin at this moment, its true nature obscured by the misty environment, but that means you have time to sort yourselves before they potentially approach.
OOC: You are on your current status, there has been no rests. Victoria and Ankor have 1 point of exhaustion.

Zack slowly gets up as he regains consciousness and looks around. He looks down and looks at his hands while moving them. All appear in gray-scale. "Huh. Neat" he mutters to himself. Then he strides over to the captain and attempts to figure out if he's still alive or not.
The giff captain is breathing, but appears to have had some sort of severe blow to the head. Dark grey trickles of what is assumed to be blood slowly drop from an open wound beside his right eye.
