The group disembarks onto the solid stone surfaces, the giff staying aboard. "Good show, chaps. Don't dally too long." He tells them as they are sent off to scavenge for what they can.
The group seems to split into pairs, Zack and Ankor being to patrol to keep an eye out for potential threats while Victoria and Tefkae make their way into the rubble around them to find anything useful.
Ankor begins by calling upon his divine senses to locate and celestials, fiends, or undead nearby. When he does so, there is almost a void within his senses; there are none of those types of creatures around, in fact, there appears to be a lack of pretty much anything here. There is no hallowed or desecrated land nearby, almost as if there is a complete gap in these aligned grounds in this vicinity.
Victoria and Tefkae start moving some of the stones to check for anything of use. They note that the rubble is actually a fair bit lighter than they would expect, able to move torso-sized rocks with ease. As they work together on looking for things, they manage to find the following items (in spoiler):
7 planks of unrotten wood
5 discs of electrum with some foreign marks upon them (EP)
Whilst that pair are finding bits and bobs within the ruins, Zack manages to note a slight hint of movement off in the shadows. Whatever is hidden off in the alcove away from the scavengers appears to be small, maybe the size of one of those raptors or smaller.
Zack says to the others, "I think I saw something." He steps slightly closer but maintains considerable distance (he would try to be 90ft away from the thing. If he was already less than 90ft to begin with, he will then try to be at 75ft away from the thing) He tries to see if he can make out what it is that moved. He still has his spell ready in case it is hostile.
For reference, the area that the group can cover is effectively a series of small areas of stone linked by wide arched stone "bridges". Imagine walking through the rafters of an old church, but wide enough that 2 people can walk comfortably side-by-side. Zack can approach (as it's probably only 70-80 ft away) and be ready for whatever comes their way.
(Just giving it a bit for other people to act based on the above.)
Ankor sensing the void in this area feels unsettled that his first gut feeling of this strange place has not subsided.
Hearing Zack call out about seeing something, Ankor takes a defensive position between Tefkae and Victoria keeping his head on a swivel while Zack investigates further.
"Tefkae, can Mr. Pepper there Fly up and around the area and report back to you what is out there?"

Even when it comes to things either are uncertain with being able to use, Tefkae merely motions to have them put into her bag. Even things that clearly couldn't stay in without sticking obnxiously out the side. And yet without fail, every item or pieces of item disappear inside without a hitch. The pearl the forged one pauses to study at length until Ankor's call warranted pocketing it away for later. "Affirmative. One moment. I will require your shoulder. If something happens, merely tap me twice."Without waiting for clarification, her head slumps forward and eyes -- or what little of the motes could be seen past their visor -- blinks out.
Mr. Pepper, on the other hand, jerks to attention, and after taking a moment to scan the immediate area with his eyes, flutters off for a closer look at the disturbance. It tries to get no closer than 30ft to it, unraveling any attempt at invisibility by simple inherit ability. At least to the Tressym's eyes. And if it reeks of poison(to Pepper), it flutters back, hissing and shaking its head.
Perception: 21. (assuming a check is still necessary to sight the thing)

Gliding over in the silent skies, the Tressym narrows down on the location pointed out by Zack. The innate ability to detect invisible creatures seems unneeded at this moment as when swooping close, the creature that is lurking in the gap becomes apparent.
Shiverring and hiding appears to be a small puppy. It has snow-white short fur which covers its whole body, it appears to be quietly watching the scavengers and has yet to notice the Tressym. It does not appear to be in the best of health, as it appears to be very skinny, its large eyes look slightly bloodshot, and its nose is dry.

Suspicious, a piloted Mr. Pepper decides to alight about a foot behind the puppy, eyeing it more closely for any strange slime-like quality. As it does so, Tefkae reports without leaving Mr. Pepper, "Target Acquired and Identified as a young canine. Preliminary studies concludes target as non-hostile, but unhealthy. Possibly due to Malnutrition among other factors. Recommendation: Capture for food stores, or avoid in case of infection."
I follow Tefkae movements and start putting what we find in his bag. Surprised that everything fits just fine. Victoria starts to move slowly due to everyone's awareness to another creature. Once confirmation is made that's it's just a pup, she would like to slowly make her way towards it. Perhaps all it needs is help. If it were her, she would want someone to help her. "Poor thing is scared. Maybe it was put here like us for much longer."
The tressym quietly lands behind the puppy. The little white puppy is startled at the presence of the winged cat as it stumbles out from its hiding spot, letting out small raspy yips defensively. It is quite obvious that the poor creature is frightened and looking quite fatigued. (Spoiler for an idea of what the dog looks like if it had a little bit of TLC)
Ankor standing next to Tafkae watches as Mr. Pepper scampers off. Hearing the pup yap and yip off in the distance..."Hmm, a canine huh? Doesn't sound too big or mean to me.", Then Victoria speaks up and starts off to see about aiding the pup. "Tefkae..." Ankor says looking at the bionic face not realizing that he cannot hear him while seeing thru his familiar. Looks over to Victoria walking off then back to Tafkae not really sure if he should follow or stay, sorta stuck in his decision making for the moment.

If any of you want to approach the startled pup, you may make an animal handling check should you want to calmly approach, or a athletics check should you rather catch the puppy.
Zack had never been good with animals. In fact, animals seemed to always dislike Zack on first meeting. Not wanting to upset the puppy or get bit, Zack is content to staying where he is. He still holds his Chill Touch but not for anything that might actually be a threat. He also glances here and there to make sure nothing has been sneaking up on the party while they were busy with the puppy.
Trusting Mr. Pepper to maintain watch and alert them if something goes wrong, Tefkae senses return to being wholly their own. "I have left Mr. Pepper on which, if further assistance is required. I will be returning to the ship now to deliver our current bounty. I shall return shortly." After giving Ankor a few more pats on the shoulder, Tefkae about faces, and makes their way back to the ship.

Victoria takes a calm and collected approach towards the pup. It lets out an inoffensive yip at first, but slowly approaches when she offers a hand to sniff. It seems to be friendly enough.
Zack, in the meantime, ensures this isn't any form of trap. From what he can tell, this seems to be the only surviving creature in the nearby area.
Tefkae begins to return to the ship, where he sees the giff captain standing atop the boat, his hand raised above his eyes as if shielding from sunlight while he watches the endless view of the astral around them. "Ah, you've returned. Jolly good. Where be the rest of the crew, I hope they aren't in trouble, would they?"
Ankor seeing Tefkae reach the ship goes towards victoria and zack but keeps his distance as he is well aware of his size and past interactions with animals doesn't go over to well at first. he is more interested in keeping a watchful eye out than what the dog is doing. he makes eye contact with zack as if reassure that he is also keeping guard. ready to return to the ship, "Lady Victoria is the dog absolutely necessary to become a companion at this time?" Ankor asks this question but also the fact that there is another living thing that would seem a domestic animal gives him a little glimmer of hope that they are not stranded alone out here.

Zack glances at Ankor as he talks to Victoria about what to do with the puppy. Zack may not be good with animals but he always enjoyed having small animals around. He wants to vote for keeping the dog as a companion but he gets caught up in an internal debate with himself on whether he should actually say his mind or not. Just like 90% of his social interactions, he decides to just keep quiet and to himself.
"Oh absolutely, this may be a sign that we are not alone. That the end isn't near." Victoria tries to pick the pup up and bring it along. " if there are any objections speak now. " once she does have the pup she goes back to the ship
The puppy gives Victoria's hand a single lick as it yaps a couple of times and its tail wags slightly; it seems to have taken a shining to the elven lady.
"Unless a lost canine youth would be considered trouble, I believe they are fine. I can check periodically if you so wish." Tefkae said without lifting their gaze from her pouch. Despite being able to simple dump everything out, piece by piece, objects collected are neatly set upon the deck in careful stacks. As they get to the broken pieces of glasses, the warforged had to stop an inspecting further, hoping at least to collect any lingering sample of what might've been contained in it. "Inquiry: What does it mean to be a Giff?" They asks absently but curious.
