"Escalla" - the expressionless drow had a very calm tone of voice, which the faerie knew it meant imminent trouble to her and her partners - "go check with the guardswhat they are looking at."
Ree'lyn was wearing his battle robe, which was not fitting for long travels, but he wanted to give the right impression upon arriving at the coastal city of Waterdeep. Consisting of polished pieces of black amber, with silvery lines creating patterns inside them, like leaves and evergreen, creating strange symbols. The soft leathery parts of his battle robe looked like overlapping leaves and vines. All in black, dark green and reddish brown.
The faerie flew to the same guard who she had announced the arrival of her master to, a while ago. "Excuse me, good sir." - being humble was somewhat out of her territory. - "Can you...er...please..tell me what worries you so much in the sky? Are the dragons nearby?" - her wings flapping faster than the eyes could see, made a soft sound.
Arriving to the gates a tall and powerful lizard folk comes through. His scales a vibrant green color with the scars cover parts of his body. He wears a black and gold cloak with the hood down. He has solid gold glasses that barely stay on but look nice... too nice. Under his coat he has on a all black leather vest with three cigars in a breast pocket. Taking one of the cigars he bites off one and pokes a hole through the other end with his claw. Lighting it with a match he walks through the gates.
Stopping at a merchant stall "This one is looking for Piergeiron's Palace. Can you point this one in the right direction?"
The guards look a little uneasy with the strange newcomers. Umm...sure. The palace is in the Castle Ward, middle of the city, base of the mountain. He looks at the pixie. No reports yet, little one, just keeping an eye out. Attacks have increased. He returns to his duties.

Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
"No time to waste." - leaving the others behind, the Drow follows the directions given to the Castle Ward. Then to the Piergeiron's Palace. The faeries flying ahead and behind him.
Meep nods, notes the larger reptilian guy beside her, and hops back up to Baird's shoulder. "Let's go. We don't want to miss our contact." She points in the relative direction towards the giant mountain in front of them, getting comfortable on her cloth on Baird's shoulder.

Meep comfortably sits upon Baird's shoulder and point again. "That way. And he's hiring us for a job. Leosin Erlanther I think his name was? We'll find out more when we get there." She pats Baird's shoulder against the cloth she is sitting on and happily takes in the cities surroundings and other buildings.

Aia leads the party with a spring in her step, amused at the fact that the Council of Waterdeep considers her as a "great name"
And they told me that I was making "poor life choices".
She felt bad for all of these poor Waterdavians walking around with the uncomfortable weight of coin in their pockets. Perhaps she could do something to relieve these upstanding citizens of the unnecessary burden. Sleight of Hand : 29
After completing her public service, Aia turns around and addresses her fellow party members.
"So how did you guys get here? I can't imagine that some reptiles, a cow-man, a dwarf, and an elf all have the same history."
Meep notices Aia and her attempt at conversation and tilts her head. "I'm an amphibian... But I'll let you pass on that one." Meep offers her a slight smile, showing that she took no real offense to her statement. She then looks to Baird, waiting to decide on whether to answer the question or not. "And I believe he is a bull. Cow is the female term. Anywho, I used to live around here. I think? I've been traveling with Baird for a while. We helped each other out of a tight spot a while back."

Meep nods her head apologetically. "Ah yes... Sorry Baird. But Minotaur are half bulls. There en lies my confusion. I apologize for the misunderstanding." Meep then nods and looks to Aia. "I too was taken from my home. However, I don't think I was transported as far as Baird here was."

"Ah, gratuitous offense is uncalled for. Words cannot state the amount of aggravation and injury wreaked upon me by your statement." - the Drow regards the female with a side glance. He pulled up his robe collar, brushed his hair with his slender fingers, and smirked extravagantly by. - "Did you happen to intercept the correspondence sent to someone else and came here to check it out?"
"Still, the question remains." - Ree'lyn tone of voice is suddenly amicable. - "You asked about the backgrounds, but didn't offer any. So, what is your story? If we are going to seat at the same table, it is best if we get to become acquaintances before the wine runs wild."
Aia you're able to lift: 38 gold, 33 silver, and 74 copper pieces
As you're walking through the streets, there's a subtle shift in the wind, and a strange sense of unease settles over you. The feeling is akin to the sudden drop in air pressure before the approach of a deadly storm, or faint tremors felt from a landslide or earthquake far away. And you're not the only ones to have noticed...the city goes eerily, unnaturally quiet. No dogs bark, no birds squawk. Even the street vendors have gone silent.
After a few moments, the noise begins to pick back up, and people return to their business. However, there seems to be a forced quality to it, and the sense of unease hangs in the air.

Meep lightly pats Baird's shoulder that she is sitting on. "Why yes. You are very skilled at that Baird. And perhaps... Er... You haven't offered your name... Sorry... But perhaps we should leave the wine out of this arrangement for the night. We are here for business after all. Best to have a clear mind when making decisions? Not to say that wine and Ale wont be an option later on..." She is still inspecting the buildings as the pass by, noting anything they may need for later (perception in a previous post #27).

"Well, that doesn't sound fun. So anyway, where are we supposed to be going? I'm kind of just walking around here."
"Aaah. I didn't mean anything by that, robe man. I didn't "intercept the correspondence" either, but I appreciate the joke anyway."

Wouldn' ye pick me? Im not bright, but ill rip out a heart or two.
Baird makes a face, indicating that he literally means to rup out hearts
And follows it up with a smile.

Inhaling then exhaling a large cloud of smoke coming from his nostrils "This one's routes are being destroyed by dragons and business is not good."
Perception: 26
Looking at the human female's gear Xilcerys can see she's a rogue maybe a swashbuckler. "This one is named Xilcerys, and you all?"
He inhales and exhales another large cloud of smoke however this time it drifts into a ring hitting the drow.
