"He'll memorize the entire board, won't he?", Wilkas asks no one in particular. "Is anyone else looking into these problems, Harbin? Any information we could get could prove vital."
"Not really no, we've hired some untrained adventurers who were coming through town to go scout out what's going on but they've either died or just ditched the mission. The problems we have for now seem easy enough for you to handle, but it's very likely that the problems will keep getting worse and new, worse problems will pop up if the source isn't completely eradicated, though we have no leads on what's causing them"
Well it's just common, plus you're a warforged so you'd be made to be able to read things
There seems to only be 2 job on the board as of now: (Also did I mention DoIP has a super fun job board system? There's even more in the sequel trilogy (: )
Dwarven Excavation Quest. “Dwarf prospectors found ancient dwarven ruins in the mountains southwest of here, and have been working an archaeological dig seeking treasure and relics. They need to be warned that a white dragon has moved into the area. Take the warning to them, then return to Townmaster Harbin Wester to collect a reward of 50 gp. Difficulty. 1/3”
Umbrage Hill Quest. “The local midwife — an acolyte of Chauntea named Adabra Gwynn — lives by herself in a stone windmill on the side of a hill a few miles south of Phandalin. With dragon sightings becoming more common, it’s not safe for her to be alone. Urge Adabra to return to Phandalin. Once she’s safe, visit Townmaster Harbin Wester to claim a reward of 25 gp. Difficulty. 1/3”
Everyone who wants to vote just say which quest you want to do, we'll decide once 3 of you have voted
After having read the problems on the board and making a noted of them with a small whirring and a blink of the eyes One returns back to the Inn and relays what was on the board and says, "Informing the Local Midwife one would calculate this is the easier of the two problems listed and would likely be the quickest choice to earn additional funds for the group. Warning the Dwarves excavating the site would have a degree more of difficulty that could be remedied with the acquisition of proper supplies to which this one has funds in order help acquire equipment if it would be necessary. One awaits the decision of the rest of the group."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Do you guys wanna talk to each other while you're walking or should I just skip there? Either way
Built on the slope of Umbrage Hill is an old stone windmill surrounded by an iron fence. A large winged monster with a spiky tail is trying to knock down the windmill’s front door. A woman appears in a second-floor window, waves at you, and yells, “A little help?!”
So the way combat works in this is the players all post their actions, in any order they want, and while they're at it roll for initiative, and then they just go in the order of their initiatives, and then all the monsters go at once. And if a lower init player does something that contradicts something that a higher init player wants to do then the lower init player edits their post. Sound good? This is the optimal way to have the fastest combat encounters in PbP
Bwadle would rush the creature, once he's in range for a melee strike he would use a bonus action to RAGE then make an attack vs the creature (I as a player assume this is the manticore that was rumored about)
(Correct, check your dice, they didn't work. Also Sidewinder, it's time you ought to learn to do attacks. For the Longbow just roll a d20, add 4, and also roll a d8 and add 2. It says that on your character)

Bwadle finally chimes in "Oi'm sure we'll be foin, Bwadle Bristletoes... P'haps ye've here o' me"
(Iz fine)
(OOC: Redbonkles, do you want me to roll a perception check for the list or is my passive perception enough to know what the list says?)

Bwadle would vote for the midwife.
"Aye, the midwife seems in more need of assistance than the dwarves."

15
15 Constant Maniacal Laughter ensues
( Could possibly read the module and find out, but that's cheating)
Bwadle would rush toward the creature, drawing his weapon along the way. "HELP IS ON THE WAY!"
(Are we within 150 ft? If so Gronk will draw his longbow to fire at the creature. Also, no idea about the dice. Wild magic maybe?)

I'd say so yeah, roll for init and post your action, unless you don't wanna fight
Init: 22
Draw longbow and fire an arrow at the creature.

As soon as he's in range, Wilkas will extend his left hand toward the creature to fire an Eldritch Blast. To hit: 10; damage: 1
