Yes to "Manage Equipment"; for the stone of far reaching says "1 Charge" and it has a little "0" above it. it also says "Reset: Special" [edit: this is when I click on "Ray of Sickness"]
Edit 2: All now have zeros, though I did not cast them.

The stones all reset at dawn in game time. That means the short and long rest buttons won't reset them. You have to click on the item itself and uncheck the charge checkbox that appears at the top of the field that pops up, which is what I have done.
And with regard to the 'Manage Equipment' button, feel free to go in and add all the standard equipment that you think Brand should have.
One question: I used to be able to use more than one stone at a time (eg. invis and levitate, or invis and TK)...does using levitate while invisible under the new system cause a problem?

No, but the stones specifically have to be held in the hand to use them, which means only two can be used at once. Although it is mechanically stated as such, which I will try to change, use of the stones is not considered casting a spell. However, using the Stone of Far Reaching to attack would cancel the Invisibility stone.

Tyrus Mountson: Lvl 3 Dwarvish Bard; Waterdeep Campaign (Dragon Heist) Nanoc the Younger: Semi-retired Lvl 2 Rogue / Level 2 Barbarian Human; The Knuckle, Mror Holds, Ebberon. The Honourable Jaden Fellan: Level 3 Human Eldritch Knight; Band of Sunswall
AKA: Phillip Berrie: writer, editor and academic thrillseeker—a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
There were a few more items found in my search for sheets:
- infravision in longsword hilt
- silver filligree on sword that can send a magic missile
- magic missile protection and mind reading protection in amulet, iirc
These were constructed for Brand before the Last Chance trip. Should I assume that they were not constructed? n/rest would also be fine if all they did was cast the spells.
I like the addition of the elephant and the kitchen sink... though the elephant isn't going to exist in Engle unless it is in a zoo.
Also, you don't need to select all the daggers, just the one so the stats for it show on the Actions tab.
Finally, I do want to keep tabs on what characters are keeping on their person and what they are staying elsewhere, so unless Brand is going to ride the elephant, you will need to specify in the notes field under the customise pop-up where it actually is.

Re: standard equipment...I can't recall the norms. Is wearing a bandolier with 5 daggers, and carrying a scimitar and dagger on the belt considered normal around town for a caravan guard? Or a noble? Or a liveried messenger? Will I be arested?
Should I be looking to conceal a couple of daggers, and leave the Scimitar at home?
Pretty sure in Ilbarsis we swgerred about in full weapons and armor. Not at all sure about Constantin.

Does that mean I can keep the 10' pole?
Of course, I'm just going to make it very inconvenient for you to carry around.
Re: Daggers, this is because he occasionally throws them.
He can have that many daggers, and even carry them around. It's just that you only need to have one, or perhaps two, selected at any one time. Having ten daggers show up on your Action list makes no sense.
Did I mention that the family also had a private zoo with a shaggy elephant?
I'm okay with that if you want, but do the animals belong to Brand (making them his responsibility) or is it his father who owns the menagerie? I need to know for the book...

Equipment is mostly done, I think. I assume things like horse etc will stay at the family home.
I suggest you put the majority of the equipment on a separate list in the Notes tab and only have what he's carrying on his person in the Equipment tab. That's what I do for my characters.

This equipment should be possible, but I'd prefer to have them developed in the course of play.

Is there any way to construct "gear sets"; eg. typical daily; travelling; sneaking etc?
Hmm. I don't think so. What you could do is make up a list showing what's in a particular gear set (e.g., Brand's sneaking gear') and put the list in the Notes tab so I can see it, then pick an item like 'Leather armour' that has a check box that means it being used and then customise the name to 'Brand's sneaking gear' so that I know it means the contents of that list.

I was going to bring this up. Constantine is a civilised city. If you go around wearing obvious major weapons without having good cause to do so, you will attract the attention of the guard.

Definitely a very stingy father: labourer works 5 days, gets 1 engle. I carry the weighty family name, have to keep up with the latest fashions (or at least not be embarrassing), and spy for the warlord apparently for free...and work 10 days to get an engle. Glad I'm independantly wealthy. If he wants a loan, I charge interest.

Weirdness re charges: I uses one, they all have zero again. I cant seem to reset them. Will send email with pictures.
Edit: NVM, wrong checkbox.
Are hand crossbows in the culture?

For now I will probably stick with the bow; it's less unusual. But might be nice to have one.
