Durmatl follows the others into town. As he walks he repeatedly ducks down for no apparent reason, until after a while it becomes noticeable that he does it in response to loud noises, usually people shouting in the crowds. He bares his upper fangs in what could be fear or anger, but otherwise stays relatively calm.

You are able to pick up that a local group of hoodlums known as the Crowned fools tend to steal items food and minor things. they tend to be the fall guys for anything that goes wrong that's of a minor sort.
As you wander the street you see a strength test game where a man is beckoning all to take up his hammer a prize is given to hit the bell. "Come one all test your strength against that of Tyr. Hit the bell and win a prize." He smiles hoisting a hammer above his head.
Two stalls down a stall is set up with arrows and a bow with goblins parading back and forth on a track a gnome is hopped on a stool shouting,"Test your skill if you dare to take out a goblin or three. You have 5 arrows and only need to hit three."
A small hedge maze is set up with a pig that looks greasier than that of a teenager with a bad case acne. A tabaxi dressed in fine silk stands fingering gems in her claws. "Test your skill if you dare two minutes to catch my friend here."
The last game stall on the street is just a tent with two doors blocked by stone statures of an aasimir and that of a tiefling. The figure before them smiles a warm smile a human dressed with gear of a hunter but wearing a necklace of fangs it appears he looks over a pair of glasses and says answer their riddle win a prize one door leads to nothing the other to a rose. IF you stand before the statues one says,"One of us is lying at all times." The other speaks, "One tells the truth at all costs." Now together. You may ask one question to one of us to find the way."
All games cost 1 piece each.
Mechanics
For the strength game roll a strength check.
For the archery roll dex.
for the pig catch roll 2 dex one to see if you catch it the other to hold onto it.
The final one is a simple riddle.

Durmatl considers each game as they pass it, inwardly thinking he could crack each of those game if he wanted to. Looking at the others, he says, "I will try my claws at the hammer. Seems suited to me."
With a grin he strides towards the big man and flips him a coin as he gets near. "I'll have a crack at your challenge, if you allow it."
OOC & Mechanics:
OOC: I know the answer to the riddle so I can answer it, but yeah if you want to have a try first be my guest! And I have a feeling Nox will excel at all these Dex games so I'll try my hand at Strength first
The man catches the coin and as you pick it up it seems a bit heavier than you were expecting. With a mighty swing though you hit the pedal and hear it shoot up to the top but not hard enough to hit the bell at the top. "Oh so close yet for another piece you can try again." The man says with a toothy grin that is missing a few teeth.
I love that riddle it is my favorite to incorporate. last table introduced i let them talk to the statues as much as they want and gave wild answers to the questions. it was funny and a hot mess.
Zydalia looks away from the riddle game as soon as she sees it. Games involving the mind are not her forte. Using her physical skills, however, comes naturally to her.
She takes a look at each game before one of her last two coins and hands it to the elegantly dressed tabaxi at the pig-catching game. This appeals to her. She used to catch animals as a child. No, the farmers never liked her doing it, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. She sets her feet apart so she's stood sturdily, adjusts her dress so it's not hanging around her feet, and gets ready to catch the swine.

Zanryn watches Durmatl swing the heavy hammer and then Zydalia's impressive display of pig-wrangling. He wonders if she'll be allowed to keep the pig!
Approaching the bespectacled hunter, he announces "I will accept your challenge". He ponders a moment before turning to the statue of the Tiefling. Drawing himself up to his full height of nearly 3-and-a-half-feet, his yellow-gold eyes bore into statue's. "Tell me", he begins, "which door would the Aasimar say the rose lay behind?"
Intelligence: 11
If he doesn't fluff his intelligence check, Zanryn will pick the other door to whichever the answer is.

Durmatl furrows his brow in anger. He thought he hit the thing pretty damn hard, but apparently this needs a little more effort. He tosses the man another coin, plants his feet wide and with a mighty roar swings the hammer again.

Oof, a 13 on the roll doesn't cut it? This might turn out to be an expensive affair.. Let's hope for something higher this time!

The tiefling statue points to the aasimir door. and smiles knowing the game is up. You go to the door opposite and open it and on a small petal stool is a basket of burgundy roses. The hunter smiles. "Very good and touches the statues activating some magic they reset and he says, "You were beaten work out the liar and the truth teller again." He nods to you and goes back to his place picking up a worn out book on tailoring.

Zydalia tries hard to contain her excitement as the tabaxi hands her the two roses. She watches as her fellow adventurers successfully win roses too, and the knowledge that she will have a bed tonight eases the tight knot of worry that has sat like a weight in her stomach all morning.
She looks around the area, until she spots the last game, the archery game. Buoyed but the excitement of her double victory, Zydalia steps up to the goblin vendor and passed over her last piece.
Zydalia knows her own bad aim is to blame, but as she watches the arrow sail past the target she recoils and wafts her hands in front of her nose as she notices the sudden stench of skunk.
"Whew," she exhales. "That's rather rancid." She backs off, shrugging, before sighing. She looks to her fellow adventurers hopefully. She'd love a second chance, but she's fully out of gold now. Still, at least she has a bed for the night.
She looks past her adventurers. Perhaps there are some distracted townsfolk with easy to access pockets...
I'd like to cast thaumaturgy (a loud noise in the crowd or a gust of wind) and then attempt to pickpocket by rolling for sleight of hand.

The action of doing this helps to calm her nerves. It's okay if they're rich, it's okay if they're rich, it's okay...
From her other pocket she pulls out the leaflet, and marks off all the roses she's aware of. She's pleased to see the numbers racking up, but she's content with just having a bed for the night. Though, the notion of the grand prize is terribly exciting...
She walks up to Zanryn, looking around for her other new companions. "Perhaps we should move on, and explore some other areas of the town?"
