"Well! I think that was the last of them.", Alek said quite relieved. Thinking about the hunters eyewitness report they got in the bar he continuied, "Not quite the rats the hunter mentioned, but cloese enough I guess!". Taking a deep breath and calming himself after what had become his first fight in quite some time he turned to his companions and joked,"I wonder what the vampire he was talking about turns out to be."
The sudden attack of the vermin set the paladin a little on edge, but she shook herself and set about wiping the blood and fur from her blade for the moment to reduce nerves. The easels were less a threat and more a nuisance; though one that had given her a bit of a jolt jumping out so suddenly.
TO ALEK: "Well, if the rats turned into blood-thirsty weasels, that does not bode well for the vampire we were promised, yes? Dezlo is sure we can handle whatever else is living in this old hut, but Dezlo is hoping they is a little less bold than the weasels. Having things jumpings at us is not good for Ruff's nerves me is thinking, haha!" She playfully pats a clawed hand heavily at the mastiff's side, fully-aware he didn't seem to be phased.
A little more centered, she turns to the rest of the group, turning her mount to face the rest of the party lined up the garden path. As she does so, she glances around to see if there is anything else lurking in the overgrown garden or otherwise of interest. She eyes the dilapidated well-house roof in particular with a stern glare; who knew what could have made a home under there given the encounter they'd just had. Perception: 2
"It could be that the weasels making all the scary-spooky noises the fish folk weren't liking, or there may be more creatures scurrying around in the house. Do we want to be making sure the garden is cleared out to be safe or is we just going to march in?"
(OOC: Dezlo really does need Ruff as a seeing eye dog it seems...)

Agreed! She sees nothing whatsoever! Expect you realized that already though... lol.
“Let me have a minute to catch my breath, that little bugger catch me off guard,” says Orgen sitting and leaning against the house.
Orgen pulls out his shirt for common clothes from his pack and cleans off his arm and the hilt of his warhammer with it. Surprisingly his arm look liked he barely got a scratch from the weasel, but at the time he was bitten looked like he suffered serious damage to those who saw the bite.
After he his done and rested he gets up and follows Grahl attempting to create a 50 ft gap. Enough to hopefully not alert anybody to Grahl’s presence, but be able to dash to help him if need be.
(ooc: I am attempting to take a short rest if there is enough time to do so. I still think Orgen would have taken the time to do this anyways, so you can decide if it counts or not.)
Dezlo had a fair point. What could that vampire possibly turn out to be? But right now there was no merit in such speculation. Alek followed closely behind Ogren while he tried peeking into the windows of the house for any clues he could gather. The weasels surely could not be the only thing what kept the town in such a state of anxiety. (Investigation20)
Seeing Alek and Orgen sticking so close together, the would-be dragon decides that she should probably provide her other teammate some backup and direct Ruff to carry her closer to the well-house to see what there is she can do to lend aid. The hand holding her sword lays easily in her lap, the other holding the pommel of her saddle for balance as the dog lumbers across the yard towards the well-house.
Yes, Grahl will inspect the water shed as well. If it has a door, he will try to look through the cracks if there are any.
Looking through some large cracks in the walls of the water shed Grahl sees nothing alarming in the water shed, just the well in the center of it, with a bucket suspended over it on a winch.
After some searching Alek felt that there was nothing else to see on the outside. "Guys, I think we should take a look inside. It's about time to face whatever is hiding in there.", he told his companions. "Should we go for the back entrance or march through the main door, what do you say? Also if you wanna take a rest we should do it now, no one can tell when we get the next chance for it."
“well if it is a haunting I doubt it would care if we rest a hour outside the house. Also I do want to use the back door so we don’t have to trapeze across the house into possible traps,” says Orgen getting close to the other half of the group.
GRAHL TO THE GROUP: “Nothin’ more to worry ‘bout outside...let’s go find this vampire...”
(OOC: Grahl will move to the door and check to see if the hinges are rusty. He will crack it open just an inch to peek inside. If the hinges appear rusty or squeak at all, he will ask the group if anyone has any oil on them.)
Passive Perception: 17
Stealth: 25 (from previous roll above, if DM still considers him hidden)
The group gathers in for a short rest, then push onward. They enter the house through the back door, coming into a kitchen area.
This kitchen is dirty and damp, with patches of gray mold and cobwebs on the floor, walls, and ceiling. In the southwest corner is some iron cooking equipment with a chimney above. Next to it, under the window, is a cracked and discolored stone sink.
To the right of the sink, a small, closed wooden cupboard is fixed to the wall about five feet above floor level.
Against the far wall, a flight of wooden stairs leads upward from west to east; the woodwork of the staircase is decayed, and a few of the treads are missing.
Grahl will look around the room to see if there are any signs of recent inhabitants of the house and look in the cupboard for anything useful he might be able to grab
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the group cautiously went through the back door of the building, Alek felt that nervousness once again took a firm hold on his guts. While the others explored the room, he kept standing near the back entrance keeping a close eye on the situation while also checking for any signs & clues that could reveal if there truly was anyone else around. "Be careful! We still not know who or what is lingering around here.", Alek told the others although truth be told he mostly said it to remind himself that this could get ugly any second now. (Investigation7)

Looking in the windows, Alek doesn't spot anything other than the fact he cannot see through the windows they are too filthy.
Lupin is able to get his bolt back.

Ok, we will try a google spreadsheet for the map. Please take a look at the below and add in your character where they would be in the kitchen area...
