Qa wanders in toward the end of the conversation. “We heading into town? It would be good to go and actually get my bearings if I am going to be here a while. Fyste, I will go with you to help sell these items.”
"You guyz do that, I will examine the gemz and see what they iz worth, and see about selling thoze," says Last Tree Standing. She gets out her shiny new jeweller's kit, pops a loupe into her eye, and begins scrutinizing the gems from the dwarf ruins.

The door to the town hall is closed and locked, as usual. When you knock a voice calls out from inside. "Go away if you are a dragon..."
When assured you are not a dragon, and hearing of your successful completion of the two missions, the Townmaster will slip 50 gold coins out from under the door, one at a time.
He then has you describe the four items you recieved from the gnomes. "I will pay you 50 gold for the hat." He calls out. "Slip it undre the door and I'll slip the gold out..."
For those selling gear...
You go to the Lionshield shop in town. There the woman running it looks over your items and frowns at them. "The hides are sliced up, and the weapons look not so well cared for." She glances at you. "I'll give you 50 gold for the lot, but not a copper more."
For Last Tree and those selling the gems...
You figure they are worth 10 GP each. Taking them to the general store in town, the old man running it looks them over and offers you that price for each.
Once you are all back at the HQ again, Kass has a folder with the following three missions. She hands the folder to Qa...
Butterskull Ranch Quest. “Orcs have attacked Butterskull Ranch, five miles east of Conyberry along the Triboar Trail! Travel there with haste, assess the damage, and help any way you can. Ranch owner Alfonse “Big Al” Kalazorn is a retired sheriff who can reward you for your efforts. If he’s dead, return to Townmaster Harbin Wester with proof of Kalazorn’s demise to receive a reward of 100 gp.”
Loggers’ Camp Quest. “Deep in Neverwinter Wood, along the river that flows west toward Neverwinter, is a logging camp. Every two months, Phandalin delivers fresh supplies to the camp, which is run by the half-brother of Phandalin’s townmaster, Harbin Wester. Barthen, the local provisioner, has prepared a new delivery. He needs someone to bear the supplies safely to the camp. Return to Harbin Wester with a notice of delivery signed by his half-brother, Tibor Wester, to claim your reward of 100 gp.”
Mountain’s Toe Quest. “The Mountain’s Toe Gold Mine lies fifteen miles northeast of Phandalin. The new overseer, Don-Jon Raskin, just made the trip from Neverwinter to Phandalin and needs to be escorted to the mine. There’s no telling what dangers lie between here and there. Once you deliver Raskin safe and sound, return to Townmaster Harbin Wester to collect a reward of 100 gp.”
OOC: So, 220 for certain, plus 50 if we sell the hat. Seruk is the only one of us who can use it, so I think we should let him decide whether to keep it.

Reginald stands up to give his opinion, "I agree Fyste, and it appears that the "Butterskull Ranch Quest" and "Mountain’s Toe Quest." are at least in the same general direction, East, so those might be worth doing at the same time. I am somewhat reluctant to work with another relation of the townmaster, but they can't all be a coward like he is, can they? Maybe we can talk to the this Don-Jon and have him accompany us to the ranch and then we can drop him off afterwards. I would assume the new guy would like to meet his "neighbors" and make new friends, in case he needs help one day. And depending on the ranch, he could set up a new supply contract with said ranch. Not to mention I can further expand our knowledge of the area and map it out."
(Did anyone take the amulet? if not, Fyste will take it)
(OOC: Nope, nobody called it, so it's yours. The Wand of Pyrotechnics is now the only thing that has not been assigned. If nobody else wants that one, I will keep it.)
"I like Reginald'z suggestion. Or, if they iz close enough together, we could take the gold mine dude out and drop him off on our way to the ranch, so az not to bring him into danger," says Last Tree Standing. "I haz no particular preference, otherwize."

(Seruk will sell the hat, so add that gold to the pot. Also, did you have a chance to figure out what I should roll for his alchemical attempts?)
"I agree that the ranch seems the best idea for a first stop, always good to have more allies, and this one sounds like he may be able to handle himself, and since its in the same direction, the mountain escort could be accomplished at the same time. Once their done, if its still needed, we can take the supply run. Unless anyone would rather split up to take them all at once? I'm opposed to it, but we do get to make our own choices here, right?" The last bit almost comes out as a genuine question. "Also, could Last Tree, could you pick me up 10 gold worth of incense and some odds an ends? I need it for a spell. I'd also like some better armor if we have the coin, nothing quite as heavy as what Reginald wears, but something a bit better than this," gesturing down at his looted orc hide armor.
"Well, we now haz 301 gold, so everyone can feel free to submit written requisitions. Maybe we waits a bit yet for expensive kits that will not be of immediate use until after next couple of missionz."
Last Tree Standing sticks the wand of pyrotechnics in her hatband. She gives Seruk the requested 10 gold without a written request, but warns him. "I will need the receipts."

Seruk... I am going to go by Xanatar's for crafting items. It does not call for a roll of any kind, as long as you have the required proficiency. With this you will need to spend two work weeks on the Gauntlets, or the other item. You will also need 200 GP worth of material, the Ogre blood is part of that, but you still need the 200 GP as well. If Fyste helps out, that can cut the time in half. If someone else, with the required proficiency does so as well, then it cuts the time in third.
(200 gold for the gauntlets, got it, put a hold on that for a bit. 200 gold each for the potions as well? I thought XGE had half-cost for consumables, but I have no idea what the cost of a potion of growth would be.)
“I agree. The more money we can get for our time out of the office, the better.” The others start preparing their gear for the trip. “I am pretty set. Let me make sure we have maps and instructions all sorted before we head out.” While the others are shopping, Qa will look through their records to find any information he can about the area they are headed to.
Seruk will look at her for a moment, "I figured, that's why I asked you to purchase it for me so I wouldn't risk losing them and upsetting you."
"Well, you can avoid that problem by DON'T LOOZING YOUR RECEIPTS!" Last Tree Standing glares sternly at the wizard.
