Once everyone signed the legal paper amarondor takes it and looks it over, giving you all a nod of approval.
"Good luck on your mission." He says as he gets to his feet, slipping the contract through a slot in the desk and letting it slip out of sight. At that moment the door opens and Izzerazz stands there once more. "Izzerazz, right on time as usual." amarondor says. "They will be working out of head office it seems." he says with a smile for her. "Very well." Izzerazz gives him a nod of acceptance. "If you will follow me, we can get you the items you will need to perform franchise work." She turns and starts walking briskly, clearly expecting you to all catch up as she heads down the lavishly decorated hall once more. her walk is brisk, not giving you much time to dally or to ask her questions. The walk is a bit longer this time though, going nearly around to the far side of the level. You come to a plain-looking door this time, which she opens to reveal a storage room. Inside is gear that is related to the various positions of a franchise. cartographer tools, horns, calligrapher’s supplies, etc. She looks you each over and starts handing out the items, somehow knowing who should get what. If asked how she knows she ignores the question. She then continues to work on getting everyone the things they need.
Once everyone is equipped with their franchise equipment, she leads you around to the main central stairs. Now you can see that it goes up eight flights, the center of the area an empty void that goes both up and down. Downward is too dark to see much, if you have darkvision you see that it goes down several levels though.
"You will find vacant rooms on the floors above." She informs the group as she nods to the stairs in a very business-like manner. "Make yourself at home, then meet me back in the first conference room in 1 hours time."
As you explore the floors you find that each floor has several rooms, each with very expensive accomadations. Each floor has it's own bathing chamber and indoor plumbing for both the washing and relieving of oneself. Each of the floors walls are decorated with dragons of every hew, both chromatic and metallic dragons. Some of the rooms are suites, with offices, sitting rooms, and bedchambers all in one suite. Some are simple bedrooms, with offices, sitting rooms, and other things seperated out more. The roof sports what can only be sparring areas, as well as outdoor sitting areas.
***********
You can pretty much make what you want out of this tower for your quarters. I will veto anything that is too much though. The lower levels are much as the upper, though there are more workroom style and dungeon-style vibes down there.
Stop, Thief hops up the stairs with a large sack. He finds a nice empty room with a writing desk as he thinks to himself about how he could do his work there.
"Make yourself at home" he says in the women's voice as he sets up his work station and writes down.

Gash- Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
Donkee. Grabs the largest room he can find, one with kitchen facilities so he can try out some mushroom recipes from his tome. He hangs his lance neatly on some pegs protruding from the wall and arranges Hole`s barding and pack saddle near the door. He places some extra blankets next to his bed on the floor for when he figures out how to sneak his donkey in here. A stable is no place for a valiant warrior like Hole. Last he pulls out a large portrait of Hole he drew after the last expedition they completed in the Sword Mountains. They dug up some nice gold, and slew many goblin pests that day. As he ponders on how to manage getting Hole up here, he realises the hour is almost up. Wouldnt want to be late. He grabs his gear, stows his sword and war pick and Don's his wonderous helmet of the rabbit, forged by dwarves and skillfully etched and crafted by himself with a rabbit's face, with two small diamonds for eyes. A fine piece of work, if he says so himself, and he does.
"I wonder if I will be able to bring Hole down into the hole of the Mad Mage, or if he will have to sit this one out?" He says aloud to himself, as he locks his door and heads to the conference room in excited anticipation.
Norelan puts down his bags in his room and gets a small desk set up and stores a few extra sets of clothes before he sets off taking his time going to the conference room sipping from his flask on the way there and fiddling with his new glasses.

P: The Traveling Ward: Natural Napalm Enthusiast. (AURYN: The Hunt For The Last Unicorn.)
"Thank you, Izzerazz. This place is amazing," Rurik says. He then nods to the group and walks up a floor looking for a suite whistling a tune. Rurik takes in the extravagance of the building and all the things within it. Wondering what he could do for the common people with such wealth, he finds a suite suitable to his needs, and contemplates what Torm has for him here in Waterdeep.
Finding a corner in the sitting room, Rurik places his backpack down, then heads into the bedroom. After carefully putting the rest of his gear down, Rurik moves to the office and sets up his office area with his tool kits. "I wonder if this place has a place to tinker, I'll have to remember to ask," Rurik says to himself as he draws a hot bath. As the hour draws to a close, Rurik puts his gear back on, places his holy symbol around his neck, and walks out the door. "This is the beginning, of what, I do not know, but I can't wait to see what will happen," Rurik says to himself as he closes the door.
Secundus slowly totters away into the closest room to the stairs, and sits behind the desk.
"Well, it's certainly not as nice as my old study in Thormson Keep, but it will do, times being what they are."
He immediately clears the desk, covers it with a cloth, and begins concentrating. In a puff of acrid smoke that sprays ash over the cloth (but not, now, over the desk in his office) an imp appears, a surprisingly stylish purple vest covering his torso.
"Good Day Secundus. Isn't today a lovely day to die?" The imp asks, oddly politely.
"Not yet Mache, not yet. As you see, I have taken up some new employment, which will hopefully make it easier for me to serve our partron longer term" Secundus said.
"I'm sure that will make the arthritis go away and grow back your teeth." The imp responded.
Secundus sighed. The Imp was right. Just getting up in the morning was monstrously difficult now. Then again, the Company of the Dragon had scores of wizards and arcanists in its employ. Certainly one of them would be able to help him find a way out of the deal he made all those years ago. Or at least return him to his youth so that the final payment of the deal was not so soon. In the meantime, he had to find a way to keep alive through the various quests he is going to take, lest he find another way to give his "patron" the deal benefits provide by his death.
[Edit: He did buy this, if allowed his imp attacks with a +6 to hit, doing 1d8+4 damage]
[Action: Secundus is going to seek an armorer, to see if it is possible to purchase a +1 shortbow or light crossbow, or a regular crossbow fit for an imp, preferably with some accompanying poison. If it is, and if the imp Mache would be able to wield it with proficiency, he will buy item for his familiar's use.]
As everyone gathers in the conference room Izzerazz is already there and waiting. She gives everyone a cool nod in greeting, clearly waiting for everyone to get there. Sitting at her left is an overweight man with the symbol of Lathander on his tunic. He gives the exact opposite of Izzerazz's cool greeting, smiling broadly and chatting to everyone as they enter. He has a worn satchel sitting on the ground next to him.
"Ok, I see everyone is present and accounted for." She says once everyone is there. She has the air of someone who knows what they are about, as if she has done this sort of thing before. "This is Vaden Stormhill." Izzerazz introduces the bookish man. "He is your franchise's Secretarian." "Good day." Vaden says, glancing around the group. "I am very happy to be working with all of you." "We have been contacted by several individuals to do some missions into the area known as Undermountain." Izzerazz says as she pulls a folder up from where it had laid on the table in front of her. She hands the folder to Arkthurus. "In there are the contracts we have gotten from these individuals..." She waits for the documancer to fill in the rest of the group on the contracts.
"Hello again to you, Izzerazz. And a pleasure to meet you Vaden. We are glad you could be here, welcome to the team." Rurik says as his eyes carefully watch the folder being passed. "What exactly do we have Arkthurus?"
(OOC: The folder was handed to Taman instead of Arkthurus)
Taman is a fairly athletic looking human who looks to be in his mid twenties, but is actualy a bit older than that. He has dark black hair and storm-gray eyes. His attire is a set of scale mail armor with the symbol of Azuth on the breastplate and also emblazoned on his shield. (The shield would not be with him currently.)
"Let's see..." Taman says, glancing through the folder, which appears to have a decent amount of pages inside of it as he pages through. After going through it once he returns to the first. He then reads the below from the pages, clearly editing out legal speak so that it will be easier for the rest of you to understand...
Who: Obaya Uday What: Offers to pay for any unwanted magic items found in Undermountain. Payment: Pays the following for magic items: Common - 10 pp, Uncommon - 50 pp, Rare - 500 pp, Very rare - 5,000 pp pays the following for spellbook based on the highest-level spell contained in it: 5 pp for 1st level, 25 pp for 2nd or 3rd level, 100 pp for 4th or 5th level, 250 pp for 6th or 7th level, and 500 pp for 8th or 9th level. Restraints: Limit 7,500 pp worth of magic items and spellbooks.
Who: Mattrim Mereg, known as Threestrings What: Needs a pouch of gold delivered to a female half-drow named Cal’al Claddani, who runs a tavern called the Flagon and the Dragon in Skullport. Details: pouch contains three moonstones worth 50 gp each. Payment: Ongoing access to a Harper hideout called Dalagor’s Fortress, located on the uppermost level of Skullport, ran by a dragonborn mage named Felrax.
Who: Esvele Rosznar What: Keep an eye out for Kressando. Description: A 22-year-old man with fair skin and dark curly hair, trained in the arts of stealth and thievery, and wears a platinum signet ring bearing the Rosznar family crest (a diving white falcon on a field of blue) and an inscription of the family motto (“Fly high and stoop swift”). Payment: A favor from House Rosznar.
Who: Volothamp Geddarm Details: This story dates to the fall of Illefarn, an elven kingdom of the North. An alabaster throne belonging to Syglaeth Audark, the last coronal of Illefarn, disappeared from the capital city of Aelinthaldaar, where the Mad Mage built his tower and today stands Waterdeep. It’s said that a group of dwarves feared the destruction of such a miraculous work of stonecraft and stole the throne right out from under the elves’ slender noses. Where the dwarves hid it for so long, who knows? But should you find it in Undermountain, it would please the elves of the North to know it survives. Payment: (Blank) Documancer Notes: Head Office wished this contract signed, even though no payment was specified. I strongly disagreed, but here we are. Post Note: Previous documancer is now working in the Topkin Franchise office as general labor. We will move forward with this in all speed.
Taman sets the folder aside with a nod. "Guess we can all guess what happened to that last documancer huh?" He asked with a chuckle. "Never write down anything that goes against Head Office I've heard..."
Secundus chuckles at the joke, in an attempt to seem like he is in with Taman and the group. He also makes a special mental note about Kressando, assuming (as he usually does) that royal houses are more useful to know that other people.
Rurik chuckles at the joke. "Well, i guess we have a lot of work before us. Anyway we can two bird, one stone this? For instance, could we just send a hireling or crew member to get the pouch to Threestrings at Skull Port, or is it on our way to Undermountain? And, if it helps any, when we get to Undermountain, i could always cast detect magic to help us with Obaya's quest. And Volomthamp and Esvele's quests could be easier than expected with a simple locate object spell, no? Man, this could be a lot of fun. What would you all like to go after first?"
" So, let see if I got this right...First we are going to deliver a pouch with a couple gems in it to a dark skinned elf chick named Claddani for a Mr. 3strings to maintain access to DallyGars fortress of tyranny as payment. The delivery to be at the illustrious flagon dragon tavern in Skullport...while doing that we keep an eye out for a curly haired boy gone-astray named kressando for a favor from the big-shot family of Rosznar. Then we get to the good parts of plundering under the mountain to exchange spellbook, cookbooks and magic toys for serious dough from mr. Uday and as a bonus, we may find a crazy carved throne to please some elves and the illustrious Mr Volo himself...a personal hero of mine, a great cart-o-grapher and elite adventurist."
After running through the itinerary, he decides it will be necessary to bring Hole and a t least a cart to haul all the stuff we are going to bring in for Mr Uday, maybe even a wagon...which means may be two mules for the wagon....the gears of schemes grind in his skull.
" I believe, we are just about ready to get cracking. We will need a wagon and two mules to pull it and one cheap employee familiar with their care to keep watch and to ensure they are fed and cared for while we are killin monsters and stuff. If the Company will cover the labor, I will front the money for the mules and wagon."
"Well, you may not have to get some mules. I'm not against the thought, but my warhorse Shadowlight, may be able to pull this wagon of yours. Although, if the group would rather, i can just pace alongside and let the mules do the grunt work. Speaking of grunt work, is there anything we can have done for the franchise while we are out and about on mission?"
" you dont want to subject your valiant warhorse to the hauling of stuff. He is a specialist, besides I will be riding my donkey who serves the same purpose as your Shadowlight. Those who dont have mounts can ride in the wagon as well, making our journey more efficient. I have an old empty barrel and a chest to secure our goods and we can keep the animals feed in the wagon. Hay makes for comfy seating...just like the good Ol' days.
As for other tasks I will design a logo for our Company of the dragon or COD. It will help with marketing...a great coincidences the initials could also mean Cash On Delivery..."
"Well, a great kindness. Thanks. And if you happen to need help placing said logo on anything I am quite able with both smithing and jewelers tools. Just say the word and I'm sure we can get something pretty professional looking put together in no time. Ha, COD, I just got it. Ha ha."
Taman glances between the two as they talk about wagons and mounts. After a bit he holds up a hand. "Exactly how do you expect to get a wagon or a mount into Undermountain? He asks the two speaking. "The only known entrance is through the Well in The Yawning Portal." He says meaningfully. He sees after a moment that you clearly don't realize what that means. he shakes his head in surprise. "I thought everyone knew about that..." He says sounding amused. "Well, the Well is a virtical shaft that you can be lowered down into Undermountain by a rope or climb down yourself." Taman says. "Durnin charges 1 GP for you to be lowered by rope, but will let you climb down for free. It's a couple hundred feet climb though, so the 1 GP is usually paid. Most who climb are heard as they hit the bottom and never seen again..."
Izzarezz gives Taman a nod of approval, her cool eyes glancing at the rest of you. "You will all want to be prepared for travel in the underdark." She says cooly. "Those of you without means of seeing in the dark may wish to purchase Goggles of Night, or scrolls of Darkvision..." She glances at Taman meaningfully, then at the other human in the group. "Now, we need to make a vote." She says, pulling out a coin from her pocket. The coin has a face with the Company of the Dragon logo on one side and a picture of Izzarezz herself on the other. "I vote that you enter Undermountain directly and explore the area down to Skullport, where you will perform the task of delivering the pouch." She makes sure everyone understands this. "Cast your votes now."
"Well, a great kindness. Thanks. And if you happen to need help placing said logo on anything I am quite able with both smithing and jewelers tools. Just say the word and I'm sure we can get something pretty professional looking put together in no time. Ha, COD, I just got it. Ha ha."
" we can create whole line of action gear to sell and help fund our venture. Logo engraved armor sets, jewelry from gemstones we plunder, and tankards... we can advertise on tankards we can sell to taverns, cha-ching"
Taman glances between the two as they talk about wagons and mounts. After a bit he holds up a hand. "Exactly how do you expect to get a wagon or a mount into Undermountain? He asks the two speaking. " a bit of gnomish engineering with some extra ropes and some hired muscle, blood sweat and tears...wagon under the mountain...ta-daah! I was figuring we deliver the bag first to skull port and look for the rich sneaky boy while we at it. That way if we were to be...unfortunately delayed ( ie killed) the company wouldnt be held liable for the lost gold payment na close valuable resources in the fortress as a result. If we can get out at skullport. Why can't we get In the out?"
" besides, I wasn't planning on taking the wagon In the dungeon, but having it pre-positioned near the exit so we have a ride home and room for the loot. We are going to strip undermountain of every useful thing we can take...what about a pack dog, a mastiff or two to carry extra loot, hmmmm"
again, the rwt in the room can literally see the wheels and gears of Donkee thinking as his mechanical rabbit ears on his helmet spin slowly in the process
Secundus pipes up: I do own a cart and donkeys, and would happily add my materials to the cause, as long as some of the attendant expenses are paid for. I would get a percentage bof the advertising revenue as well, of course.

" we can create whole line of action gear to sell and help fund our venture. Logo engraved armor sets, jewelry from gemstones we plunder, and tankards... we can advertise on tankards we can sell to taverns, cha-ching"
