Bulvii looks to Damrius with an amused grin, "Perhaps a little more investigation would save you some coin." He takes a long drink of his tankard and heads toward the stairs.
Gralmore casts guidance to himself as he tries to count how many doors are there and where they may lead to. He'll also check what weapons and armor have those thugs brought inside the Elfsong Tavern.
You spot 4 doors that lead off of the main floor tap room, plus the stairs going up to the second floor. The other customers are all armed and armored, and you get the impression that no one goes out and about without being fully battle-ready in this city.
It is fairly clear that one of the four doors lead to the kitchen, one you guess leads to a sort of lounge, the other two you are not certain about, storage closet or maybe private dining room.
As you come up to the upstairs dining area you find the following.
Lit lanterns hang from the rafters in this windowless room. Rugs cover the wooden floor and help dampen the noise from drunken patrons gathered around two large tables, eating and playing games of Baldur’s Bones.
One of the individuals seated at the table nearest the stairs is Tarina. She is a weathered, but still quite beautiful, woman wearing clothes of a sailor. She laughs and jokes crudely with the others around her table as they play the game.
"Keep an eye out for these dangerous friends of hers." DuCrae whispers to Gralmore. As Damrius comes up the stairs he says "Our quarry is over there, I think you should make a good first impression on her, fancy the first crack?" as he says it he releases a little of his power to help Damrius.

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
Tarina glances over at Dalin as he takes a seat. "Want to join in then?" She asks, looking him over with a speculative look. "Anti up if you plan to play." She says as she shakes several dice. Glancing to his tankards. "Oh, you bring one of them for me?" She asks.
Dalin looks between the tankards and Tarina a few times, then sighs and slides one to her before diving into one. He takes a long gulp, belches, wipes his face with the back of his hand, and clears his throat a few good times. Well what's the ante?

Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
She gives Dalin a grin, and downs the tankard in one go, then beltches in turn. "Give me another of those and we'll let you in for a silver." She says with a saucy smirk. Several of her companions chuckle.
Gralmor will inform what he found to anyone from his group that is currently on the ground floor of the Elfsong Tavern. He then resumes keenly observing the place for any suspicious activities that the tavern's patrons might do.

Believer of the almighty one, the Alpha and the Omega, whose love encompasses all of his creations, RNGesus.
Started as a player at time of registration. Started to DM a month later. Hoping to get better as time progresses.
As the group watches the tavern, both upstairs and down, everyone seems to be just going about their normal business. It is a fairly rowdy group of thugs, sailors, and bandits from the look of it, all armed to the teeth.
Upstairs Dalin is playing dice the spy you were sent here to talk to, as well as several of her companions. Each of them has rolled the dice once, getting three numbers and now the play starts back at Dalin as he rolls dice trying to get to 21 but not over. he manages to get exactly 21 before passing the dice to the next player. Play goes around, with everyone either busting or getting less than 21 until it came back to Tarina.

Lodas doesn’t drink anything, but heads up the stairs.

Dalin gets up the stairs, and makes his way to the table that Tarina is at. He carefully sets down his 6 pints at an empty spot he can squeeze into.

Tarina gives a hearty laugh and nods her head. "Same price." She says as she hands him the cup of dice. "Anti up and then roll."
Dalin sighs in relief and throws in a silver piece, and rolls.
(Any dice you actually want me to roll?)

(OOC: you can roll a tool check for dice if you wish. Maybe you can win... Not sure if you are prof with dice though, so keep that in mind...)
(Quite unproficient, actually, but it's never stopped me before)
