After that day with the storm, the rest of the trip is uneventful, up to arriving at your destination. I will give everyone a bit of time to review the actions, and add in any that you are doing. When that is all done I will continue on with our arrival.
Opal Fire is mildly interested in Sinsil's card game, but does not join in. He simply watches when in the area. If it switches to three-dragon ante, however, he will play.
Sinsil would have spent that first uneventful week setting up a 2 silver buy-in blackjack game. 10% of all winnings going to the house and therefore the franchise of course. (Read as shady business practice.)
(OOC: shady Business takes 2 weeks to do, so we will let this be your first week. Things to think about are that we will need three checks, so you may wish to talk some of the others in to joining you. The checks will be: Charisma (persuasion) to get the crew and staff to play, Wisdom (playing cards) to run the business, and Dexterity (Slight of Hand) to fix the game a bit. Since it is on the ship, there is no reason to think it wouldn't be able to keep going for the second week, or even longer if you wish.)
Shieldbiter will spend his time doing his normal morning routine of practicing to stay ready and prepared. He will also work with his Jeweler's Tools attempting to (craft and/or practice a profession).
At some point on the third day he asks Nusas, "So if we are in the air for a large majority of the time, and working for favors, how does Amarondor expect us to "grow his franchise" and make gold to pay his monthly dues?"
Nusas will give him a smile. "We could have stopped at that island on the first day, then you could have expanded there." She says. "Otherwise, once we get to our destination, you can do so there." She shrugs. "There is always the option of contacting Home Office and asking them to look into things, or to work, as your friend is, on ship to get things going like that card game."
Continue working on the card game piece, but I wanted to post the below so we can keep the other part of the game moving...
After eleven days of travel the War Balloon eventually is traveling over land once more. You see the expanse of several islands pass under the ship as you travel onward, eventually coming to a wild-looking expanse of one of the larger islands. Salty Hook slows the ship down, and you find yourself hovering over an old ruin.
Most of the city is toppled and almost completely covered in undergrowth. The ancient streets now look to serve as overgrown “valleys” between the debris of the crumbled buildings. The largest of these valleys all lead to the central clearing where a great pyramid stands.
In the south side of that clearing is a newly collapsed area, revealing a jagged hole with a debris-covered slide, leading down into darkness.
"it is late in the day when you arrive here.
"Well, we are here." Nusas says, looking from the view below the ship and over to the group. "I would suggest waiting till morning to go down, but what do you plan to do?"
"Can we do a few lower flybys to get a general idea of the place from above? Then get a good rest before heading into whatever is before us there. I vote for early morning."
"If we hover close to the ground I can use magic to detect some creatures."
If the party decides to hover close enough Larry will cast Detect Good an Evil The would need to hover 15-20 feet above the ground or smillar for this to be useful.
It is there, the last post in Team 5's thread has actions that can be done in downtime.

I just posted in thread. Odd it's not updating ugh hopefully it's just a connection thing.

(3 dragon ante doesn't have the metrics needed for such a small endeavor, if the group finds funds for a full gambling den, then sure.)

I can help. I'm very...
Persuasive.
Also, in order to help, I can pretend to be other people (I'm a changling) and fake doing well as that person in order to trick others into joining!
So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.
(sounds perfect. Sinsil is terrible at all 3, but won't let that stop her from trying.)
(My character literally runs a criminal organization, he knows what hes doing XD)

Larry will spend his downtime hunting the ship for any vermin.....
perception for this? 14
Assuming he catches something, he will head to his room and shut the door excitedly bringing out his occultant abacus
and cast augury He will do this as many times as he can over the travels......
Obviously...this requires the sacrifice of such Vermin....he will also keep some body parts in his new pouches...

Yeah, Cas is going to try and start up the card game thing, who wants to help him?

"I can help with crowd control I guess..." Ethan says with a shrug. "I won't be much help with the rest though I fear..."

Opal produces his spyglass and leans over the side of the battle balloon, looking for signs of life that might give them trouble once on the ground.

"I vote we take a low fly-by to survey the ground better, then wait for morning. Best we be careful here, we don't know what to expect"

Sinsil will chime in "I add my two votes in favor of a low fly over... All opposed?"
