Hearing Olive accuse the king of the south puzzles Kravek, he has not been this far to the south before. He says nothing in response. Instead he will question a local guard who might have seen Kravek and the others fight the snakes.
He will ask the nearest guard Soldier, what do you know about this attack? Has there been anything like this recently?
Krevak approaches the Tavern and speaks through the window as the guard is sitll barricading the door, but before he could reply...
As the rest of you all start to look around and introduce yourselves -- ten guards from the west road and ten guards from the east of the road converge on you.
"Hold there you people! Did you dispatch of those elementals?" You all hear as one of the guards steps forward wearing full plate armor -- Gold in color -- the sun reflects intensely off of it. "You are all to accompany us to the King he will want to thank you for your heroics."
The man spoke in a deep commanding voice. He was big. Tall. Clean shaven. With a very large longsword -- bordering the size of a greatsword -- on his hip. A shield on his left arm still, it was also golden and especially pristine. "His manor is just outside of Pleasant View its not a long walk. It will be worth your while."
"I didn't do a gods damned thing..." Rixton says, holding up his broken arrow. Seeing the looks of everyone and the realization he will get to meet the king, he continues, "...that any respectable person wouldn't do to help out the brave city guards in a time of crisis. Lead the way, good sir!"
Kai had already started to slip away into the streets when the guards started speaking.
"You are all to accompany us to the King, he will want to thank you for your heroics... It will be worth your while."
He stops and considers for a moment then turns back to slip into the back of the group. The 'bard' makes no particularly overt actions to draw attention to himself though he does shrug his cloak to look somewhat more regal, in colors similar to that of the Crown's Guard speaking to them.
Palisade looks up as he had just gotten his map open once more when he heard the guard. With careful movements he will store the map once more and shoo Malizath away as the imp had been about to light his pipe. With a quick step to the rest, Palisade stands next to the rest of the group. "If that is what must be done then lead the way."

Heroics, did you hear that, Auril? Lightning equals heroicsKallak thinks to herself. More lightning? Talk to you later. I suppose that's a prayer.
Kallak returns back to the tavern from her sprint to see if any guards need healing (did she see any who were injured?). She goes to the guard who's asking everyone to come with him. She puts her hand out. "Kallak," she says, as they shake, and only a little bit of spark passes from her to the guard.
She's ready to follow him to meet the king, which seems a lot more interesting than waiting around for a boat.

Kravek nods to the guard captain Very well, i shall come with you
He will however check the facial expression of the guard he spoke to through the window, to see how he reacted to this group of guards and their offer to bring us to the king.
(insight check: 11)
Curious to see what they will have to say he follows the guards but is wary about them.
Raising an eyebrow at Olive's theory, Song will head over to the window - someone should really teach these people about decent barricades, elemental fire can go through a glass window (or memorably, a wattle and daub wall) far more effectively than an old oak door - and gesturing for it to be opened will whistle for Djoda to rejoin her. Speaking to the creature as it curls up in her hood again, she tickles it under it's chin "Don't suppose you thought to bring my bacon sandwich with you, of course?" The idea of speaking to (or more likely, being spoken at by) the King - that's a bit more than she'd expected. Free room and board courtesy of a grateful innkeeper was more her level. Nevertheless, never turn down a reward if there's one on offer, and don't annoy big men with shiny swords and shields until you're sure you're well out of range.
Putting on her nicest, most trustworthy smile, Song will join the parade.
Kallak: The guard looks at your hand and says, "okay." he does a heel turn and starts to lead the way.
Kravek:
The guard you spoke to through the glass seem genuinely surprised about the elementals. just an innocent look on his face like, shrug idk whats going on at all.
Olive: No one answers you, you do hear some audible sighs.
Song: You see the helpful barmaid, who seemed to be running the inn. The one that had been taking care of Olive rush to the door pushing a guard out of the way so she could open it. "Here is your bacon sandwich. It's all we had time to make... will you split it with Olive? She really should eat something."

After the guard's less than friendly response, Kallak follows, at a medium distance, giving the back of his head a look that is trying to judge whether this will be more or less interesting than waiting for a boat to sail.
Following behind all of you is the second half of the Crown's Guard you saw to the east. They are equipped with spears. They have them out but they are all pointed toward the sky and no one seems hostile toward you.

Kai sizes up the guards. Maybe this is more than I bargained for... He does his best to not look nervous but escaping if things went south seemed questionable.
While walking with the guard Kravek notices Song's sandwich and immediately stops in his tracks with a shocked expression on his face. His rack of owlbear ribs in still at the tavern..
Kravek glances back at the tavern in sorrow as he starts walking with the guards again.
With the adrenaline from the fight gone his stomach starts growling like an angry bear.

Palisade follows quietly as Malizath flies next to him, playing the part of a familar more then was likely needed or wanted by the mischievous imp. Both looked around as they waited to what the home of the ruler would look like.

Nope, gave it back
“Hey, anyone desperately starving and in need of half a bacon sandwich?” Song says with a gesture toward Olive, the other half of the sandwich already in her mouth.
(OOC: Winenose do you mean gave it back to the tavern or to Kallak?)
When Song makes her sandwich offer, Kallak's eyes perk up and she says "Bacon?" with a big grin.
"Kallak" she says, reaching out her hand for a shake.
