Olive misses the sandwitch offer as she's looking around for any grocery stores or open cafe's nearby where she could duck in for a moment to grab something to eat.
As Olive's eye begin to wander and she might even veer off for an empty bakery stall as the public starts to flood back into the street one of the guards will simply extend their spear out and use it to pull her back into the street. He will shake his head at her if she turns around.

Kravek looks back seeing he missed Song's sandwich as she gave it to Kallak. He does not speak but frowns again thinking they are just toying with him. As the guards also steer Olive away from the bakery Kravek tries to strengthen his resolve and not show any weakness.
He reaches into a bag on his belt and takes out a bit of the rations he stored there to still his hunger. The stale dried food can be carried a long time but would be better if it had no flavor at all. Reluctantly he finishes what he pulled out of the bag hoping their walk to the king is not far.
Olive's voice appears in everyone's (as in the group being led by the guards) head in turn throughout the next 30 seconds, saying the following:
"This is Olive, do not freak out, keep walking and listen. The guards are forcing us that way, we don't have a choice. Also the fire snakes themselves told me they were summoned by the King, I just played it quietly. Be on alert and ready for anything. You can reply to me by thinking it and I will link up with you again in about a minute."
(Oliveshould be olivecolored. :-p DM, feel free to always read my spoilers)
Rixtonreturns Olive'smessage with skepticism. "You speak Ignan? A fire snakespoke? If those things are true, things are very wrong. Stay alert. Trust no one."
Olive returns the message, "I don't speak Ignan, fire snakes didn't speak, it happened the way it happens right now - a link between two psyche. Someone just needs to understand a language, any language, for me to be able to exchange thoughts with them."
"Stay out my head! I do not want hear the thoughts of you worthless things in my head. It is bad enough I have to deal with the lump of wood." Malizath replies before Palisade can get a word in, the impetuous imp still riding on his shoulder.
"Ignore that one. He thinks that he speaks for the both of us but he fails to remember he is nothing more then my familar. As for what you have learned we should keep it from the guards and simply play the fools until we know more."

“That really doesn’t mesh with what you said earlier - but it’s not like my guard can get much higher. You sure they meant this king?
Song will cast message herself, twisting a bit of copper wire she keeps in her pocket just for this purpose, rather than fiddling with the wand that’s back behind her ear.
”It wasn’t like we had any choice in the matter anyway - no guard captain who has spent that much time polishing his sword is going to take no for an answer. Is there anything else you know about the King that might help us get out of this?”
To Kallak:
Song casts message to Kallak - “Did Olive message you as well? About speaking with the fire snakes?”
Kravek hears Olive's message turning his head toward Olive to look at what she's doing and looking at the others who seemingly get the same message by the look on their face and reactions.
To Olive:
Are you from here? And why would this king attack his own people at random?
Kravek keeps a closer eye on the guards as well as Olive. Not trusting the situation at all and not sure what kind of witch she might be. But trying not to think this since she might hear it.
Kai keeps an even stride after receiving the message from Olive. Better give her something worth listening into I suppose. He smiles to himself and starts composing his response for when the druid would tap in again.
For Olive:
(To the tune of Gilligan's Island)
*Kai gathers a tune in his mind*
"Fire and fang did strike at we,
from where, we did not know...
With blade and bow we did attack, this unlikely foe...
The king is well liked. This is totally strange to you and doesn't make sense at all. you really can't make heads or tails of it. You just know this is extremely suspicious

You all march with the guards and people start to stare while in the streets unsure of the situation at this point.
You can see the king's castle straight ahead on the horizon. Just then the guards take a left turn. The majority of the party is confused except Olive can piece together that they are heading toward the King's Mansion. Olivewould know that...
This is the king's home and he does not conduct business here. He specifically built it to have a place to unwind and live in private.
The guards take you to the mansion it isn't tall but it is wide. The huge home has about a 10foot stone wall around it with a large grassy -- beautifully manicured. As you walk up the road and approach the door the lead guard in gold stops and turns around.
"You all know the drill. Only these people will come in, please wait outside."
The other guards fan out and stand along side the building. The golden guard opens the door and looks toward the party, "Please, enter."
You all enter the mansion, its only two stories but the foyer has marble columns two large twisting staircases with beautiful -- obviously dwarven made banisters with designs that are delicate like elven design.
The king descends the stairs. "These are the ones?"The guard nods. "Well then, wont you join me in the study." He walks off to the right and the guard follows.

(What does Olive know about the king that might seem relevant? She's been living in the area her whole life)
Olive:
Well, obviously...except for the seemingly psychic ability that works dramatically differently than message!

Olive to Kravek:
"Yes I'm from here. I don't know why the King would do that, but I guess we'll find out soon enough."
