The elf smiles as he walks over to the front counter. This first room appears to be a lobby. Through old glass doors, you're able to view a dining room. Adjacent to the lobby on the other side lies a staircase leading upward.
"An assortment of bread, meats, and cheeses. We have some very talented chefs in our midsts," the elf assured Jorel. "And we can get to that shortly. But first, the matter of payment. How many rooms do you want?"
Jorel will see Weylin joining, "What do you say, dinner first? While we wait for our friends? I'm assuming three or four rooms, we can usually share, how big are they?"
Jorel and Weylin would both have seen Aldin as he lent against the building they entered outside. He was staying on guard while the two talked to the inn keeper. He briefly mentions to Weylin on his entrance to see about any possible wizards or collectors in the area. He trusted the dwarf to either pass on the question to Jorel or to do with it what he can.
He stayed watching the direction of Smoke and Ash, knowing they can handle themselves but if not, he was not that far away.
"Alright then. Right this way," the elf said. "We can talk rooms after dinner, if that's your preference."
The elf escorts you into the dining room, Jorel, and Weylin as well if he chooses to go along. With a multitude of tables and a bar at the end, the room was surprisingly empty. A few patrons quietly sat in groups, eating their food. Nothing seemed to stand out about the place.

Nirug see the signal about the enclosure and signals to the those next to him before he peels off from the group. They know, as does he, that he's not a quiet figure. Quickly moving around the buildings he approaches the dwarfs from a different direction from his friends. Either way he is going to be a distraction so he should distract their attention away.
"Hail," he shouts out to the dwarfs. "Hail the dwellers under the mountains. I'm looking for news for I've been wondering long. Have you any?"
As the rest of the team nip into the large building and Nirug distracts the dwarfs, Ash will attempt to see what's in the barn. A good distraction is as valuable as quiet feet at getting into interesting places.
Perception: 27
Stealth: 16 (if at advantage thanks to Nirug's distraction: 22)
While some are entering the elven inn, Smoke will also stay outside watching Nirug distract the dwarves.
During this Smoke will crouch taking some of the soil into his hands feeling the dirt and checking out the ground to see he can extract information from that.
Smoke will try to see if he can see any tracks of creatures other than dwarves and elves if possible.
(survival check: 10 , and advantage for gnolls/orcs tracking 16)
Hesitant to take his eyes off of overwatch, Aldin knows that too many hands in something only brings about more suspicion. He enters the inn and moves to join his two comrades. He nods to Weylin in thanks for asking for him, his quietness borders severity amongst those in a crowded place. Luckily the group has seemingly understood and worked with him. It also does not help that most elves, as they have already encountered, are quite prejudice.
The dwarves appear rather surprised to hear such a sudden loud voice and the two short figures spin around to see the hulking figure of Nirug. The larger one, with wrinkled leathery skin from years of hard work, and a large brown beard, walks closer to the goliath. The dwarf looks at him, a bit puzzled. "Ye want news, is that it?"
Ash, you peer into the barn, being able to see the contents quite clearly. It's a large building, with good construction, but old as there are some holes in the ceiling, the paint on the outside is beginning to chip off, and some of the foundations appear near collapse. The interior appears like you would expect a barn to. Piles of hay placed on a dirt floor, some farming tools such as pitch-forks and rakes are placed near the hay. Multiple horses are inside stalls, and there appears to be another enclosure behind the stalls. There is a large battleaxe mounted above the stalls, just the right height, for the dwarves to reach. There are multiple large wooden crates pressed up in the corner, all titled "Store Goods."
Smoke, as you examine the dirt for signs of tracks, you pick up on a few faint human foot-prints, as well as tiefling tracks leading to a large concrete building located a few hundred feet down from the barn.

Jorel will take a seat at a table large enough for everyone, moving tables together if necessary, and order food for the three of them, “An open inn with plenty of seating and food, we must be in the right place.”
"News, yes. I travel here and there and like to be informed of any going ons when I come back. Though most run at my sight. I get best luck from you sturdy folk." He calls out. He keeps his hands away from his weapons and his posture as relaxed as he can.
The dwarf manages a rough smile, revealing a few missing teeth. "Well...no news comes to mind. Not a lot happens around here. Not anymore. Not after...well," the dwarf seems to look away as if it will immediately change the subject. He's clearly made a slight error in what he's said but doesn't know how to cover for it.

"Not after what?" Nirug asks. His posture shifts and his big arms cross as he stares down at the dwarf. "Is there or was there trouble?" He waits a moment. "Spit it out man, if there's danger about I'd rather not walk right into it."
The dwarf looks at him, wary. "Well, I guess it's more the town's history than 'tis mine. Back when I was much younger than I am now, the Eastern side's harsh ways of discrimination were on the rise," the dwarf begins, bringing a new level of vocabulary he had failed to present previously. As soon as he began, it was apparent he didn't plan on stopping soon. "You see, Emperor Rhalon had just been elected, and his legions of orcs were taking this side of the continent by storm. Our town was built up of mostly exotics...the kind that Rhalon wasn't fond of. But our strongest human wizard...uh, what was his name again...called Vandur the Great, held off the legions of Rhalon until he could no longer. Too bad the day came too soon. The legions invaded and took away most of the exotics, to the Auctioning Houses in Vestistule. I offered a safe haven for them in the barn, but the barn was raided and my daughter, Margaret...she was killed. Ever since, this town has been filled with elves with prejudice against people...well, like yourself. You might not want to wander too far downtown. They still hold a shrine to Vandur in the monastery, if you want to visit."

Weylin will join Jorel inside, and just watch the other patrons (if any) in the building and stand by the door.
