I am looking for friendly and respectable players to the DM to join this campaign. Please DM your character sheets to me. I have a link for the campaign where you can put your character sheets. We will start with the "Sunless Citadel", I would not like anyone playing that is familiar with these campaigns. NEW P2P Players welcome.
Seven of the deadliest dungeons is what you will encounter. Some are classics that have hosted an untold number of adventurers, while others are newer creations boldly staking their place in the pantheon of notable D&D adventures. Just as these dungeons have made an impression on D&D players, so too have tales of their dangers spread across the D&D multiverse. When the night grows long in Waterdeep, City of Splendors, and the fireplace in the taproom of the Yawning Portal dims to a deep crimson, adventurers from across the Sword Coast- and even some visiting from other D&D worlds- spin tales and rumors of lost treasures.
A wanderer from the distant Shou Empire speaks of strange, leering devil faces carved in dungeon walls that can devour an explorer in an instant, leaving behind not a single trace of the poor soul's passing.
A bald, stern wizard clad in blue robes and speaking with a strange accent tells of a wizard who claimed three powerful weapons from a city on the shores of a lake of unknown depths, who spirited them away to a slumbering volcano and dared adventurers to enter his lair and recover them.
• A one-eyed dwarf spins tales of a castle that fell into the earth, and whose ruins stand above a subterranean grove dominated by a tree that spawns evil.
These are only a few of the tales that have spread across the Sword Coast from the furthest reaches of Faerun and beyond.

A few weeks before the winter solstice the temperatures on the Sword Coast are dipping into freezing during the day and plunge below at night. Your party has winter gear to brave such fierce temperatures. This includes a winter coat and gloves with a head covering of your choice. Also you have some winter boots to keep the feet warm, and dry.
The goblin tribe infesting the nearby ruins, called the Sunless Citadel (though no one knows why) sells a single piece of magical fruit to the highest bidder in Oakhurst once every winter solstice. They've been doing this for the last twelve years. Usually, the fruit sells for around 50 gp, which is all the townsfolk can bring themselves to pay a goblin. The fruit, apparently an apple of perfect hue, heals those who suffer from any disease or other ailment. They sometimes plant the seeds at the center of each fruit, hoping to engender an enchanted apple tree. When the seeds germinate in their proper season, they produce a twiggy mass of twisted sapling stems. Not too long after the saplings reach 2 feet in height, they are stolen- every time.
Oakhurst is the scene for this adventure, you all arrive at the Yawning Portal. The inn is bustling with whispers of the fruit and how they goblins seem to be getting stronger in those parts as it is almost time for the harvest. This rumor about the land has peeked your interest but for now you all enter the pub. Walk to a round table and as adventurers do you all introduce yourselves to one another.
A lean and wiry Githyanki moves to the table, wearing a set of chain mail and with a sword at his hip. His heavy cloak and fur lined boots are clearly thick and very warm. He removes the gloves he is wearing and tucks them into his belt as he moves to the table. When he removes his woolen hat, his reddish-brown hair comes into view. He has yellowish skin and black, penetrating eyes. Taking a seat he nods to a serving girl as she approaches the table. "An ale if you please..." He says, his voice soft and confident.

She says sure sir, that will be 5 sp. Um if you don't mind me saying your hair is as red as the healing apple. It is quite gorgeous.
Zak Vidal, a Half-Orc who has been living in the wilderness on the outskirts of Oakhurst, has finally gotten up the nerve to come into the town. He has been living in the wild for quite some time now, and is quite socially inept. He ultimately desires to be more social, and start to interact with people and start to build a life for himself and repair what's been done to his mental state throughout his childhood.
You see a huge muscular Half Orc walk into the inn, and then introduce himself, quite awkwardly, to the others as they file in.
"He.. Hello... I'm Zak. Zak Vidal. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
Zak then takes a big sniff, and not even realizing it says "er... do I smell?"
OOC: Do we have any weapons to start? I added the travelers clothes to Zak's inventory as it seems that makes sense given the winter gear.
Dot - Waving her hand back and forth as she takes a seat "Hello, friends." Standing at 6'6" tall, wearing only a few re-purposed rags as a shirt/cloak you can tell the face beneath the hood is only but a veneer for what is beneath. "I hope you are all well, if you feel hurt or sick... please let me know and I will help." taking off her backpack and placing it at her side on the floor you'll notice an amulet of Lathander and what looks like dog tags entangled with the amulet. Most of her exposed body has a light shine of polished steel.
OOC: You guys have 1 potion of healing, I am not sure what you chose upon character creation but you choose gold or equipment at the start. As the story goes you will have chances to purchase items.
Zak is very glad to see some non humans around... his half-orc appearance usually spooked most folks each time he did try and talk to someone in the town.
Maybe tonight is his lucky night.
Zak looks at Dot - "It's nice to meet you. What.... are you?!"
The half-orc is super ignorant. No fault of his own.

You see a waitress come back with the Githyanki's ale, and say to those who have sat down " Hello poor freezing soles, what can I get you this beautiful day?"
Dot - Slowly tilting her head towards the barmaid "I do not require sustenance but I appreciate the offer, please let me know if you are hurt or sick." turning back towards the Orc "My people call me Dot but others refer to me as a Warforged... I don't use that name, I don't like war."
Zak's not going to order anything (he has no money), instead will take up a seat and see what the next conversations bring. He'll look up awkwardly at the barmaid:
"Um..... nothing for me, thank you. Oh actually, could I get a glass of water?"
"Thank you..." Leon says with a nod of appreciation. He frowns slightly as she rushes off, clearly flustered, but shrugs as the towering half-orc ocmes in.
To Zak...
"Well-met." Leon says, getting back to his feet. "I am Leon, please join me at my table..." He gestures to the table and the empty chairs. His grip is firm, but not crushing,a as he shakes the half-orc's hand.
To Dot...
"Please join me." Leon says with a nod of greeting. "Healing? No, I am fine..." He retakes his seat then. "I have ordered myself an ale, but I am certain the serving girl will be back shortly to take your orders as well."

An averagely built human approaches the table, short black hair and a five o'clock shadow, warm travelers clothes and no weapons visible. He carries a backpack and wears a smokey white crystal on a silver chain around his neck. His pale complexion and dark bags under his eyes make him look sickly, but he carries himself straight and speaks with a confident voice: "Hello, friends. May I join you for a drink?"

Hello Everyone.
We will begin the story now.

She backs up from the table looking almost flushed and hurries to the bar to get your ale.
