“Of course you can come with me, Zak,” says Tolroc in a jovial tone, “Where do you hail from?” the halfling as the two continue on their way. He seems friendly and genuinely interested in Zak’s history.
Obviously taken aback by the question Dot will finish securing her mask "Well I think I do, I don't feel hunger but I do feel happiness, sadness, anger and other things."
Enjoying the exchange between Zak and Dot, Trystan keeps his curiosity in check. This is the first time he has had contact with a Warforged and a Githyanki, and the only time he had to deal with a Half-orc, he was not on his side. He will have to tread carefully lest he steps in a cultural trap.
As they get up to leave, Trystan dreads getting out in the cold so early, so he signals Danzen for an ale and says: "Come and grab me when you're ready to start towards the citadel. I'll see what more I can learn here."
Zak realizes after the fact that he likely said something he shouldn't have. He looks at DoT "Oh.. well thanks for telling me! That is very interesting... Ahem... thanks again for the gold, I truly appreciate it, you are most grateful."and then the Orc actually bows to DoT as he leaves the Inn. He's clearly feeling super awkward about this whole ordeal and hopes he didn't offend DoT with his ignorance.
Why thank you, Tolroc! Zak says as the two head to the general store. Where I'm from? Oh golly well you see I was born in an Orc camp not far from here... it has since been destroyed but yeah I never really got out much. Since then, I've been, well, living in the Neverwinter Woods. I have been living there for as long as I can remember now... I was... well... not treated well in the camps.... but... well I don't want to depress you, you look like a happy guy! Where are you from good sir?!"
"Hmmm. This Sunless Citadel sounds right up my alley. I would love to accompany you all!" Tolroc exclaims.
When Leon mentions asking around, Tolroc says, "That is very good idea. We should seperate to talk to these different people and meet back here. I'll visit the general store, if anyone would like to go with me."
"Where is the store?" he'll ask the barkeep.
Once the barkeep answers, Tolroc will hope down from the chair, and put his winter boots, coat, and hat back on. He them hoists his pack back onto his back, and walks outside of the tavern and in the direction that the barkeep gave him.
He says " It is to the left of here, about 1 block down.

Danzen quickly comes over and says " Yes sir, what will it be?"
"A stout if you have any in stock, or your darkest ale, thank you." Trystan looks around to see what others at the inn are doing. He feels like he should ask around about the goblin trouble, but he wouldn't mind playing a game of chance at the same time, if one was played at any of the other tables.

Give me a perception check please :) Danzen goes off to get your dark ale.
OOC: We are going to split the party off now. Tolric and Zak we will focus on you for a bit at the General Store.
You travel outside the inn on the left hand side for a block to a store that says Care Away Store. It is an unusal name but it is a pretty nice store from the outside. White Tudor style and the front has a small flower box by the window.
(I'll keep watching for when you are ready to run the smith part with Leon...)
Actually if your ready we can do that now. The blacksmith is on the right hand side, same distance as the general store Ironically. The sign outside the store says Smithy. You can see a dwarf banging on some project.
Trystan takes a sip. "Hmm. Good. I'll pay for his next drink, make sure he knows it.", he slides required coins on the table, but tries to keep the purse out of sight. He's patiently sipping his drink to see if the man makes a move.

With others looking to be ok with asking questions of locals, Leon will head to the smith and see what he can find out there.

OOC: Tystan is staying behind, DoT what are you doing/going?
Perception: 15
You see a man at a far table looking over at you with a very curious look in his eye. Danzen brings your ale back.

Overtly nodding towards the man, Trystan asks Denzen: "Who is he, at the far table?"
Danzen says " He showed up about a day before you got here, he bought a room but he doesn't talk to me"
