Vacillius wakes up, prepares for the journey, and meets Sir Miles in the square. Good morning! I trust you slept well? Any luck with those cartography supplies?
Well met. To answer your questions, I have indeed slept well, and I have the Cartography supplies right here, but I must ask you, do you or any of your friends have any skills at mapmaking?
"Mmm well I have spent many years traversing the seas, and I know how to navigate the seas, so cartography can't be much harder than that, can it?" Bishops grabs his holy symbol and his eyes light up with excitement "Besides Eldath will show us the way, we have nothing to worry about!"
"Good then! The descendant of Djinn will draw the maps and we will follow. All we need now are cigars to pass atound to all."
Milo steps forward into the circle of adventurers, with a tug adjusts his lightly plaided red vest, leans heavily on his staff and with a broad smile asks, "Which way?"
The Tooth is north of here, 30 miles, to be exact. Legends tell of a dwarven stronghold that was built there; I have reason to believe that the orcs have made their base there. This may also relate to the weapons found in the area, as well as Durgeddin the smith and his forge.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Milo raises his staff and arms and begins a thrumming chant. As he does, faint green flashes wink between the deer antlers on his head as a small orb coalesces before him (casting Druidcraft to determine weather for the day).

what does roll tell us about our weather today?
The orb is gray and cloudlike, and you can see tiny raindrops and hear tiny bursts of thunder.
As the band begins its trek overland Milo keeps an eye to the ground for stones that are ready made for throwing. Once found he casts Magic Stone on them and tucks them between his studded leather and belly. There they ride quite handily.
"I love the rain. It makes everything so nice and green. This land could use a bit of rain."
Even so, he knew that a northward setting would eventually run them into the Spine and beyond that, the great glacier. Either way, they were in for some cold weather. He really didn't like the cold....
After a long and rainy trek, you finally approach the base of the Stone Tooth. As it's name suggests, it has the appearance of an enormous stone gang jutting from the earth. You can see a well-constructed path leading to a large ledge, where an orc camp could easily stand.
Sorry if I am late.

Anyway, Sir Miles is awaiting your arrival in the public square.

Milo stirs at the question.
"I am sorry but I do not."

Where exactly is 'here?' Are we currently anywhere on the map of Faerün?.

"Praise Eldath! It seems it is going to rain" Bishop claps his hands in excitement, "It is going to be a good day!"
In my opinion, it would be wise to begin the trek soon, before the rain moves in. The rain could wash away potential orc trails.

"Speaking of the orcs, what proof do you need to claim the bounty you've promised?"

A tusk, a finger or toe, Or even a head, if you have to. Just be trustworthy; I have a way of monitoring your activities.

"True face o' trustworthiness right here, your Mayorness."
Internal thought: "Monitor our activities? Granddad would wrinkle his nose at that. Don't smell right."
"A'right. Let's get this circus moving a'fore I hafta smell wet D'brags."

I mutter a few syllables and draw power into a sphere of soft white energy, holding it at the ready in case of ambush.
Perpetual Ready action to cast frostbite on the first orc I see.
