As the party rushes over to the fallen cleric, the Giant Hyena continues to flutily try and crack Corus’ armor.

Damn, Valen's alive.
I move into position and blast Corus, Valen, the gnoll, and the giant hyena with a 51-point color spray. The magic blossoms out from my outstretched arms in a crackling wave of pure Power, dealing 8 damage to Valen and 18 to Corus.
Then, I back up.

The dazzling lights from Chaos’ spell completely blinded the giant beast, the gnoll, and the holy men. Only further compounded by the dart’s of magical energy materializing from the light, flying into the armored adventurers and digging into the gaps in their armor.
Driven even more wild from the sudden blindness, the giant beast lashes out at the previous target of its ire. But yet again its teeth break against Corus’ hard steel armor. In the same wild frenzy the Gnoll stabs it’s spear at Zook, but only catches air.

As the party’s focus concentrates at the battle waning at the gate, the flames at the back of the outpost continue to grow.

"AAGGHH!" Corus screams in pain as magical energy rips through his body and he seems to have lost his vision. Familiar with this particular magic causes blindness, he curses the demon. "I've got to get out of here!" Corus begins a short prayer as fog begins to billow from his body. He then sprints north hoping to distance himself from his enemies.
Zook was thrilled for half a second as Valen regained consciousness from the Healing Draught. That was immediately replaced with annoyance as a blast of color and magical darts quickly knocked the Cleric out again. Then his vision was obscured as the area was suddenly filled with fog.
Zook should leave this area... the Gnome thought as he dashed towards where he was sure the Color Spray originated from.
As he ran, he felt the air near him move as, what he assumed was the Gnoll's spear just missed him. He reached into his Satchel, pulled out a vial of Alchemical Acid and chucked it behind him. He smiled as he heard the glass break and the Gnoll scream out in pain (6 Acid Damage). Through the fog, Zook found Chaos and quickly darted behind her.
"Chaos," he said. "If we all make it out of this mess alive, Zook made a really cool thing earlier. You can have it."
"Zook cannot at this time." the gnome replied. "Only the one who cast it or the wind can get rid of the fog right now. Do you have any spells left that can affect an area?"
"Zook doesn't know how long that fog will last." the gnome replied. "But yes, it would be redundant to blind them right now. But there's also nothing to keep them in the fog either..."
Lia hears Corus cry out, and glances at the fallen cleric. She curses loudly in Elvish, running towards Valen as fast as she can.

"Yes, but they're effectively blinded by Corus' fog. Blinding them again won't do any good."
