Zaphael grins. "Oh yeah," he says, readying his longsword, a vicious blade of black iron. The camp is about twenty feet down a hill, just for your in formation.
For lack of a better weapon, Winter takes out a dagger and shrugs before pulling their hood over their head, ready to help when someone will make the first move.
Travyn throws a ball of green liquid at the two orcs fighting each other. >> DEX save 13or 5 acid damage for both targets
(OOC: you can just reroll a new dice a the end of your message (edit). As long as you add your new roll at the end, it should be fine) Initiative Travyn if needed: 8
Standing up, Winter hurls the dagger in their hand towards the nearest orc (if no one is in the way, of course) and pulls out another.
Attack: 18
Damage: 3
[Did I do it right? I rolled a d20 for the attack and added dexterity and proficiency, then I rolled d4 for the damage and added dexterity. I just haven’t done this before...]
Elana: The dagger whisks through the air and hits one of the nearby orcs (any in particular you were aiming for?), causing them to stiffen up from the surprise.
Ronan: As the acid spurts through the air, neither orc evades the spell. You hear their howls as they turn to face you, their skin burning off in hideous patches as the corrosive substance does its foul work.
Jason: Quite frankly, I can't tell what your attack roll was (19 or 9?) Either or, you get advantage on the attack roll due to surprise/hiding, and if you don't care enough about rerolling, we're just going to add 5 to it (passive advantage) and count it as a hit, causing your handaxe to oh-so rudely interrupt the meal of one of the orcs (with a handaxe now embedded in their shoulder).
Zaphael, with the wild grin of a man on mushrooms, leaps out of the bushes, longsword in hand, and runs forward, longsword in hand. The orcs below, already shocked because of the attack, stare gawk-eyed and slack-jawed as he jabs his sword into the shoulder of one of the nearby orcs. Suuroth just sighs and prepares a stance, as though preparing to cast a spell.
((it was 19..I completed fudged the second trying to sort the damage out! But thank you!)
Forgot to add I use my free action interaction to pull my longsword from my neck scabbard (if that's correct?) And charge towards the orc I hit with my handaxe!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(If I can get in during the surprise round) From the top of the hill, Gellyse stands just a tad over 3’ donned in the hide armor comprised of her deceased parents clothing observing all of this happening below her. Watching carefully with her piercingly bright blue eyes, her shoulder length hair braided in a ponytail to keep it out of her face, waits for her chance to strike. Upon seeing an opportunity she holds the amulet around her neck with its markings resembling those of Angharradh, saying the incantation and performing the gestures as she has been taught, directs sacred flame toward the orc that looks the most injured.
2 for damage on failed dex save of 12
initiative: 14+2
I understand if it’s too late for the surprise round. Also, sacred flame is just words and gestures she grabbed the amulet for comfort and reassurance from Angharradh as this is the first time she’s encountered orcs since the death of her parents 10 years ago.
edit: I’m going to not include modifiers in the die roll so I can more easily see when it was a one as I am able to re roll 1 in certain cases.
The two that look the most injured are the ones that were fighting. One dodges out of the way successfully while the other isn't so fortunate, burning in the flames. A couple more orcs come out of the tent, axes in hand, and bellow, ready to fight.
Side Note: You also see Zaphael, who's standing over one of the dead orcs, and the people who were following him earlier.
Another Side Note: That hide armor has a dark backstory.

Theldain readies his shield on his left arm, pulls out a handaxe and takes careful aim at the closest orc and let's it fly!
Attack: 19 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Attack: 19 Damage: 10
(Sorry if I fudged the dice roller segment, first time using it on a mobile phone!)
((Damn! I edited it and just wanted to do the damage...sorry guys! This phone is useless lol))

Okay. The orcs all seem shocked because of your sudden appearance, and seem to be standing there, gawking at the sight.

Theldain runs into the closest group of orcs, bellowing an elven war chant, and casts green flame blade
He swings his longsword towards the closest orc, the blade flickering with bright green flames.
15
Dealing 8 normal damage, and 2 fire damage to a second orc
(How many orcs are there now? And where are they all located? Also, are there any other creatures besides the orcs?)
There are about five orcs left, and seven horses tied to nearby trees, but nothing else of note.
I is the feels good.

(So it’s the two that just came out of the tents and three around the pit? Did the two come out of the same tent or separate tents?)
Separate.
Wait, why did you need to know this?
