You let the goblins leave, unsure of their affairs, but not wanting to press the matter into a fight. Oorr pockets the 10 platinum, and you finish traversing the muck pit with little issue.
Jimjar gradually grows more excited as you continue your journey to Blingdenstone. He sidles up next to Oorr and says, "I'll bet you 10 platinum that we find the way out to the surface world there, Oorr. If anyone trades regularly with the overworlders it'll be the deep gnomes."
Jimjar's words seem to spark a realization in Derendil, who muses about finally returning to his kingdom in the Kingdom of Nelrindenvane. "Perhaps when we get there, you can help me oust the evil wizard Terrestor, who cursed me into this hideous form,"he announces. "Aye, and where did you say this kingdom was of yours? I ne'er heard of Nelrindenvane before,"replies Eldeth. "The High Forest, of course," says the Quaggoth, incredulously. "Yeah, I know where tha' is, but the kingdom don' ring a bell,"says the Dwarf. "But all the same, I'll help ye, if we get out o' this place in one piece. I'll keep dreaming of Gauntlgrym and putting one foot in front of the other, aye?"
Over the course of the next four days, you keep your pace up, and traverse a webbed cavern, thankfully, for Belwar's sake, not running in to any web builders. The speed at which you are able to travel, and the expertise of Oorr who is probably the only Aarakocra to commune with the underdark, aids you significantly.
On the 8th day of your escape from the Neverlight grove, you enter into a strangely lit cavern, suffused with Faezress. Floating about in the air are a few watermelon sized spores, drifting about on invisible drafts of air. You keep your distance, but as you pass by the final one in the room, you all experience what feels like a memory of a recent event.
You are floating, and you have multiple eye stalks sprouting your head. You chase after a group of familiar looking goblins through a dimly lit cavern. "Bring it back!" you shout. "That's mine!"A green beam of light shoots from your head at one of the small figures. The figure turns to dust immediately, and its bag drops to the ground spreading gold and gemstones across the cavern floor. "Run faster!"shouts the goblin leader, and he as his five remaining companions dash ahead, diving through a hole in the cavern wall you cannot fit through. You scream in anger, and then the memory is gone.
Coming to, you are at the edge of the cavern. The gas spores seem to have drifted further away from you, and the memory fades, nearly forgotten.
"You are right Oorr, let's move... Belwar, Jimjar are you from Blingdenstone ? Do you know what to expect ?"
Jimjar lets you know that Blingdenstone is quite fascinating. It's been around for millennia, but it was hidden for much of that time. Only recently have the deep gnomes begun interacting with the world outside their city more extensively. After a series of unfortunate events in which drow from Menzoberranzan invaded and slaughtered many svirfneblin, the city is now being rebuilt. It's a mixture of new and exciting development, and ancient ruins that not many people know much about. It's been some time since Jimjar has been there, and he's eager to see what has transpired in his absence.

"So, apparently those goblins robbed a beholder. Impressive, especially if you consider how many of them are still alive. That beholder's probably still around here somewhere, though, so it would be advisable for us to leave promptly."
Seeing those beams of light again, even as their holder, remembers Valrish of how he almost got roasted. "Let's... Just get out of here, yeah." He hurries his companions.

Grimnir uses this quiet walk to check up on his fellow companions. "So, it looks like we are finally getting close to a way out. What are you plans friends once we're out?
I think I'll go check up on my monastery and see if my old master is well. I might find some use for my gold pieces, I'm thinking starting my own Brewery, beers made with ingredients of the Underdark. I need to find a good name... Straight out the Underdark? Dark Shroomies? Hummm... I still need to work on that..."
Grinmir realizes that they all had the same dream..."That was weird. So it is not a dream, do you think the eye-beast is communicating with us?"
"Wouldn't put it past an aberration, but I think it's more likely that it was a memory, probably stored by the faezress." I now have to stay here and try to investigate, of course.
OOC: Just let me know whether anything's going to happen before I've spent long enough to roll.

Grimnir, you find a healthy supply of bluecap, trillimac, and barrelstalk fungi. Another to keep you and your companions well fed for days as you finish your journey to Blingdenstone.
But you also find something more interesting. You find a patch of Timmask, and are able to pluck 4 of a two-foot-tall toadstool with orange and red stripes across its beige cap. It emits some sort of gas as you pick it, but being resistant to poison, it doesn't seem to have an effect on you. You make a note of it, and store it for later. You also find 2 strange fungi that are shaped like human tongues.
You rest and recover from the strange memory, but after careful inspection believe you are in no danger from a lurking beholder. You pack up and continue your journey to Blingdenstone. Based on your last calculations, you believe it's only a few more days travel.
On the dawn (figuratively, of course) of your 10th day of travel, you see a familiar, if frustrating, sight. You had found a corpse in a patch of violet fungus the night before, and that warning had you keep your distance, but as it was late, you camped nearby. That morning, as you wake up, you hear a gurgling crunching noise, and look to see a Carrion Crawler with a saddle on its back, happily munching on the corpse.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valrish, seeing the crawler, decides to take things seriously. He had tried to get on friendly terms with it every time they had met, and he wouldn't give up. He approaches the Crawler carefully, holding some rations towards it as a sign of friendliness.

You can't really be sure this is the same carrion crawler wearing a saddle you've seen several times prior to this morning, but you'll be damned if it doesn't feel like the exact same creature that's been shadowing your path since the day you escaped Velkynvelve. It's evaded you before, but not this time. Using the land and the terrain to your advantage, you slowly approach the creature in a way that gives it no where to escape. You offer a bit of food, gingerly, careful not to spook it. Grimnir calls upon the spores of the area to grant guidance and Valrish receives a boon as he walks right up to the crawler. At first it does't respond, but then it sniffs the rations. It does not take any, apparently they aren't spoiled enough for the tastes of something that feeds on corpses, but it does not run, and seems perfectly relaxed as you place a gentle hand on its back.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valrish is happy. He has finally come to friendly terms with the crawler. He decides to hop on it (him? her?), getting a calm reaction from the creature. He then decides to try to make the crawler advance a bit, because riding on a gigantic millipede is just the right thing to do right now.
