Valrish takes the metal bar from Grimnir's hand and attempts to break the chains. "I'll give it back, don't worry."

(OOC As my breath weapon is a 15 ft cone in length, am I able to alter the radius freely? or are there limits to the radius's length?)
Your shackles snap and fall off as you wedge the rod against them and give a mighty twist.
(OOC Since we're not on grid, we'll just improvise the width when you use it. Generally it's going to be 15 feet long and 15 feet wide at the furthest point from you, starting at a single point from your location and spreading wider every 5 feet. Does that make sense?)

(OOC So it gets 5 feet wider every 5 feet? Like various parts of cilinders overlapping?

Something like this maybe? I did it on word, but the spacing here works weird.

Something like that, yes. When we we get to combat we'll just do whatever makes the most sense.
Everyone is relieved at the shackles being released, but the difficulty of the next task is not lost on you.You all settle down for the night, awaiting the morning, and hoping that Jorlan does as he promised.
Belwar, you have your recurring dream of oily tentacles and demonic cries from the depths. Others have similar, if not quite as memorable nightmares. Topsy whimpers much of the night, while Eldeth and Shuushar try to comfort her.
In the morning, you all wake to the familiar call from the guards, "Wake up, vermin! Time to eat, then to work." You recognize Jorlan as he comes to open the gate and slides the tray of mushroom soup in. Without even a look at you, he turns, leaving the gate unlocked, and the food sitting inside. You then hear him call out to the two drow standing guard, "Ashara wanted to see you at the shrine. I'll stand guard here while you go. Shouldn't take long." The guards murmur their discontent at being called away, but don't question Jorlan, and leave. Shortly after they disappear across the rope bridge, Jorlan leaves as well.
The way seems clear, but you don't know for how long.
(OOC one point of note, Oorr, your wings are free, but sore from being unused and bound for so long. It will take a short time before you can use them. One more long rest ought to do it, presumably if and when you escape the camp.)
Valrish quickly eats his ration and wakes up the ones who still haven't. "We must be fast, or else we'll be in Deep trouble." He says, looking from the cell bars to see how far the guards have left.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Valrish follows them both, making sure not to cause too much noise. "I'd say we follow the rope bridge. If I remember well, there are guards posted on that far end." He says pointing towards the opposite path from the rope bridge.
Outside the gate (area 11), you see no signs of any drow. About 30 feet in front of you across a rope bridge is the Stalactite that houses the guards (area 10), and above which Jorlan claimed is an armory. The door to it is shut. Far to your right, you hear the sounds of the Quaggoth servants waking up in their own cave (area 12). You have never been in the shrine where Jorlan sent the guards, but you know that it is in the other large Stalactite (area 6), which is also where Ilvara's quarters are (area 7).
The area is dimly lit with phosphorescent moss that hangs from the cavern ceiling. The sound of the waterfall can be heard off to your left.
The other prisoners seem to be following Valrish's lead. Belwar, you may approach any of the nearby areas without being seen or heard.
Oorr and Valrish are not quite as sneaky as Belwar, who is in his natural terrain, so you hold back a second, however you don't seem to have attracted any unwanted attention..yet.
