Lem sees where this is going and looks through Moon’s eyes at where the winged kobolds are emerging from. He places the center of a 20 foot sphere of sleep between the rear one and the lead one, hoping to get as many as he can, (13 hp worth).
He is always frustrated to give up being invisible so soon but the positioning was worth it. He looks around to see if he has been noticed.
No one notices you appearing out of thin air as a mist escapes your mechanical arm, and wafts up to a point in the middle of all the kobolds, then expands out in all directions.
The air is filled with this magical aura as it engulfs all four kobolds, both the ones in the air, and the ones on the ground.
Immediately, the four kobolds drop to the ground. The two next to the gate collapse; the one above the roofline falls to the roof, making a clattering sound as it falls down the roofline, off the edge, and lands on the ground taking 10 falling damage. The one above Zashier's head falls directly on top of him, causing 2 damage to the elephantine man, and 12 damage to the winged kobold.
Hearing the splattering sound of two winged kobolds, you are fairly certain they are dead, laying in crumpled heaps on the ground.
The two kobolds at the gate are asleep (metagame moment: this only lasts for one minute...), the other two are dead. Lem you hear sounds coming from inside, because you are right up on the wall. The kobolds that were inside eating must have heard the flying kobold as it fell to the roof, and went tumbling down the steep pitch. You hear movement, but no one comes outside.
Looking up, you see two more winged kobolds fly over the roofline (double move to get from the back of the manor to the front, in case you were curious).
All they see is Zashier - Lem that stealth roll was clutch. You are still managing to press yourself against the wall and not be seen.
Zashier, you are up. The winged kobolds are 30 ft up, at the top of the roofline, you are 30 feet from the manor. They are roughly 40 feet from you, they see you, and they do not look happy.
Zashier immediately slaps his hand over his mouth, and looks almost frantic in his glances between the fallen and still flying kobolds. "Oh Pelor, I think I done it now. Sis always said my voice was to smooth, but I never knew how much!"He half-mutters to himself. "Uh... uh... O-oh, Well, they're clearly dead, sorry bout that there. But! I can wake these guys up."As he says that last part, he draws a hammer from his belt and walks over to the fallen. "This always wakes me up."
Wack!
And in he goes to accidentally bludgeon one into deeper unconsciousness...
Action: (Light)Hammer - Attack: 16 Damage: 6 of non-magical bludgeoning to a sleeping kobold. (Roll includes another d4 to account for auto-crit from hitting unconcious creature.

Thistle takes aim at the closest kobold. Her arrow sailing through the air is true, pinning the kobold to the side of the manor.
As she watches the kobolds, she notices the winged kobolds are vulnerable as they flap their wings up as opposed to when they are coming down. She will try and time her next shot for when the wings are unfurled. (advantage granted against the other winged kobold)
Raddunth, you are up, though the only foe you see is a winged kobold, about 30 feet above the ground, near the manor.
A winged kobold at 30' sounds like a target for a thrown javelin.
Attack: 13 Damage: 8
(Edit: Raddunth runs closer to the manor using 30' of movement, but the total distance is still over 30', correct? Raddunth makes the attack Reckless, to avoid the disadvantage due to range.)

Raddunth, seeing everyone having fun but him, takes off running towards the manor. He sees the four kobolds drop, and two more show up. He sees an arrow come flying out of the woods and pin one of the kobolds to the manor. Raddunth grabs a javelin while running, and heaves it at the last kobold. As it flies through the air, it looks like it is about to miss the kobold, but as the winged kobold flaps his wings, he moves up in the air enough to pierced with the javelin. The javelin was heaved with such force that the other kobold is also pinned to the manor.
Two lifeless kobolds now dangle from projectiles, pinned to the exterior of the manor as a warning to all other kobolds.
Lem, you are still waiting for the kobolds that were in the house to come out. You heard them moving and shuffling through the wall, but that noise has died down...The house is eerily quiet...
Lem rises from a crouch, turns back to the group and waves to get their attention. He points at the manor with one finger and starts counting with his other hand, spilling the count higher onto the original hand. Then he puts the original finger to his lips, in a shushing motion.
But then his vision blurs a bit and he staggers as he fully takes in the two winged kobolds that he put to sleep splattered on the ground and the other two fall to their deaths in the pit. He starts twitching again, eyes racing and repetitively fidgeting with his metal arm. He is shutting down a bit, retreating into himself.
Before you, 20 ft high, are the walls of the manor. Once resplendent, the building is showing signs of age and abandonment. The double door gates rise a full 10 feet up, and together about 10 feet wide. The right hand door also has a smaller door roughly carved into it, as if the kobolds got tired of opening and closeing the gates and decided they would make their own entrance. On either side of the door there are several windows and a few loopholes (arrow slits) and each corner of the building has its own crumbling crenelated tower. You know from earlier, when Lem had Moon fly over the manor, that the left side of the manor's roof has caved in completely. The right side of the building seems to be in tact.
In front of the door, 15 feet wide, there is a hole - a pit, whose covering is now gone, triggered by the weight of Zashier. The hole is 10 feet out from the walls, and 15 feet across.
Thistle, as you move closer (which I assume you do) you notice that every opening is abandoned. No one is hiding, no one is peeking out, the place looks abandoned, completely. Except for the bodies of the two kobolds hanging on the wall, the building doesnt even look lived in.
Does Lem remember an opening in the back swampy area from Moon’s scouting? He will again look through Moon’s eyes and try to fly into the hole in the roof to listen and look. Being in a bird’s head seems to calm him, a tiny bit.

Yokini picks her way out of the trees and moves toward the gate. "I guess we take thievery very seriously around here," she comments with large eyes. She moves to the edge of the pit and looks down (perception: 4), but she's distracted by the macabre mounting of the two kobolds to the outside of the building. "I hope we're not planning to leave them up there like that," she comments to herself again.

"Well that was certainly a close one there, if I do say so myself."Zashier comments on as he tried to scoot his way around the hole, missing Lem's gestures in the process. Once on the other side without further incident, he breaks out his heavy headed spear prods at the ground every few steps going forward on his way closer to the unconscious pair; fully trusting now previous talks about traps!
Though, he would move onward rubbing his head with his trunk as much of lingering pain for getting bonked on the head as it was from feeling silly about poking the ground. "Naw, mam. We can swing back for'em on the way back." Zashier replied to Yokini at least as he pokes at the left hand door, prior to even daring to try opening the right handed side. After a quick and uneventful peek inside, he'll blindly wave people to follow before stepping inside himself.
Lem, as you fade out of this perspective and into Moon's, she swoops around the manor, and through the open area. As she flys, you see there is an entrance on the back that mimics the front, but no entrances on the sides. While in the house, Moon sees nothing - no movement, no figures, nothing.
My apoligies if this wasnt clear from the above description.
Zashier, there is no way to scoot around the hole. The hole extends out by 5 feet on either side of the gate, and goes right up next to the front of the gate - and the gate is closed.
Lem relays the information about the still-quiet house, and the back entrance, to the group close enough to hear. He comes back to himself and looks at the hole and Zashier trying to get around it. He speaks and he almost seems to mimic Zashier's cadence, scratching his head. "Well that just doesn't seem practical. How do you get into your secret hideout if you fall to your death whenever you try to enter the premises?"
He then remembers that he caused so much immediate death with one simple spell and begins trembling again.
Despite some temptation to climb down for several reasons, Zashier looks about ready to just circling around to find some other entrance when Lem suddenly pipes up at his side. He rears back on reflex, ready to kick him away, but stops in time. "Woo~ Oh hey man. You had me going there, for a second."
He looks back and forth between the hole and the gate. "Yeah, that, uh, seems to be something of a structural oversight, unless its weight sensitive. In which case, Sis was right, and I should definitely cut back on the twelve stacks pancakes, as ten is plenty enough."He nods sagely to himself. "Could try going up and over to a window, starting with-..." He trails off, finally turning and seeing Lem's state. "Hey, hey, hey, man~ It's okay. I know that wall is looking like a mighty obstacle, trust me I know, but you have Zashier here to help you over it, alright?"
Thistle silently laments her lost arrow, probably at least bent if not splintered by the weight of the kobold it is keeping aloft. She moves swiftly across the open ground to the wall of the manor, poking her head up and briefly looking at the slits and windows and whatnot. "I thought you said there were more inside?" she says to Lem. "There's no sign of them... maybe they are circling from behind?" She looks to the back of the house, her bow drawn with a new arrow, then works her way over to a splattered winged kobold, nudging it with her foot and checking it over.
OOC> Were there two out on the road? Or are those the two who fell into the "bottomless" pit?
The two that were next to the gate, that Lem put to sleep, fell into the pit when it was triggered by Zashier's weight.
2 winged kobolds pinned to the building
1 winged kobold dead 30 feet away from the building, where it landed on Zashier
1 winged kobold dead on the right side of the building, where it fell and tumbled down to its death
2 kobolds down at some depth in this pit
You see no enemeies, you see a gate with a pit in front of it, you see a few windows and arrow slits ( all about 12 feet off the ground) and those go all the way around the building. Lem knows there is a gate on the back, but it is also swampy terrain back there.
If you stand at the edge of the pit, facing the gate, you are about 10 feet away. Zashier, at 7'4", your reach would be about 3'8". I dont think anyone will be reaching the door or the windows without some teamwork...
