"You want to care for and help Cup don't you Huark. Well we want to help you help Cup. You worry about finding Cup to us. For now you rest, tomorrow you go back to your job and work to get money. And then when you get home you need to clean and rebuild your house. "Yes, yes, I'm sure they have it all under control," says Tagec.
The ogre nods, closes his eyes, and starts snoring.

Thinking back to their last fight, Elwin comments, "Well, as far as shopping goes, after some decent weapons, hopefully we can scrape enough together to get a healing potion or two. I didn't realize how close we were to having someone get taken out."
"I like the honeypot idea, but mostly because it's more likely to work, even if it takes awhile. There's no telling how friendly the pixies will be--or even how much they know."
"And yeah, you might do better as the 'bait.' Perhaps then Raven can take the lead in following you quietly, and we can then follow her at a safe enough distance that the Candyman won't notice us?"
(( Elwin will have taken his 20gp as well; and a long rest will be perfect for the level-up! ))
Raven seems quieter than usual, as she considers what she has learned about the fens. Her father would be upset if he thought his old enemy were returned somehow. She did not like the sound of that at all. She has to shake herself, to get back on task and get everyone back to the tavern.
Raven would also have grabbed her gold allotment.
"I would like to find some studded leather, and maybe a shield, tomorrow before we get started." She informs the others as they get into planning. "Also, I agree that you would make a better lure than I would, but I am not as good at tracking as I would like, though I can move quietly. we will have to see how that goes if we do get a bite on our trap..."

Quentin would have commented saying, "The plan will have to be executed at night. And I have a couple tricks as well up my sleeve to help. An extra pair of eyes that see very well. Though I'll need to visit a shop that sell magical ingredients and time to do the arcane."
Elwin awakes a little early, his patron having spent the night directing his client.
(( Dreamscape training:
"That Misty Step will sure come in handy," said Elwin as he reflected on his dreamscape training.
His patron, however, only paused for a few seconds to allow reflection. "Refresher. Use your Shield spell."
The dark-cloaked old man floated higher, until he was a good forty feet above Elwin's level. Having started a good thirty feet away, it put him roughly fifty feet directly distant.
"Now!" came the warning, as long blades materialized out of thin air around the entity and hurled themselves toward Elwin.
Elwin raised his shield, and sort of jabbed with his spear. "Verpasst!" Unfortunately, there was no arcane surge, and it was only his metal shield and a little luck that kept Elwin from being skewered.
Orridon didn't frown or scowl. However, he did float down toward Elwin, staring at him long enough to prompt a response, "Yeah, yeah, I'll try it again."
"You're unable to gesture properly while armed," came the blank reply.
Elwin shrugged. "No, I wasn't sure what to do exactly, so I just tried something."
"Unacceptable."
The old figure spread both arms wide, and with a burst of icy mist, a spear appeared in one hand, and a shield on his other. The warlock blinked in surprise.
"This is how you properly translate the gesture," the patron began before commencing an hour-long drill in adapting somatic components.
It was far from fun, but afterwards, Elwin had to admit--it worked. Being able to gesture properly while wielding shield and weapon meant he could use ALL of his spells during combat, without having to drop or dismiss his spear. He left the dreamscape glad to have had the chance to learn... and almost eager to get into another fight.
"I want to see an armorer, so we can head to the shops." Raven says and glances to the others. "So a magic shop, an armorer, what other shops do we need to go to?"
"Armor for me as well, and a sword. If the Sharkey discount is as promised, maybe rapier instead of short. I'll stop with Lord Quentin as well, for some components in case I cannot hold an instrument with sufficient discretion"

Elwin shrugged. "That's all I'd need to visit." Other than magical armor, or a nice magic shield, he was thinking of most of his purchases as luxuries more than necessities. A Pearl of Power would be nice for example, but it wasn't as critical as a proper weapon.
(( If the party splits, he'd go with the first group to head to the magic shop. ))
Once it is decided, Raven will lead the way to the shops. She will look to purchase a shield and a set of studded leather. If she can find it she would also purchase a poisoner's kit.
