"I'm a decent tracker but if ya say ya need to find somebody I can prob'bly find 'em. Ya say yer a wizard. I know wizards 'ave certain specialties. What's yers? Could ya show us what this woman looks like?" Balos adds to the conversation after some thoughtful consideration as he drank and ate among the others listening to the tale.
Bilick does not eat as much as he would have otherwise, as the Goodberry does make him feel full. However, he spends most of the meal stuffing his pockets with bits of fish and vegetables for later and drinking as much ale as he can. After hearing Tsendur out, he looks at the others, wiping bits of foam from his beard.
"Aye, I suppose I'm willing to help ye. Without me magic, I'm worse than useless defending my circle's grove. We all are in a heap o' danger then. Do ye have any idea where we can start? And don't say the bloody Bridged City." Bilick's countenance turns dark at the thought of traveling to the Bridged City, but he falls silent and doesn't explain any further
"Bilick," the dwarf growls between gulps of ale. He sizes Tella up and adds "Yer pretty, for a serpent girl," before burping loudly and mashing another piece of fish into his backpack.
"Osso, I wish it were that easy. I'm not sure where the elven lady has gone with the clasp. Kendrick, I understand your unwillingness to get involved. It will not be an easy task to find the clasp and return it to the reliquary," Tsendur says. "There will be battles to win, treasure to find, friends to meet, people to save. It will take a true adventurer to save the continent of Ghelspad from the destructs Meso's Bane will cause."
"Balos, I appreciate your enthusiasm," Tsendur says. "I was able to learn about the Clasp of Clasp of Vergren from Savila Nebega at the Academy of Magic and Engineering. Unfortunately Bilick, The Academy is located in the Bridged City which is 33 miles north of here."
"Nice to meet you Tella." Tsendur shakes her hand. "The Bane may dissipate as it spreads, and the headaches may not be as severe. Only time will tell."
This is a good place to award the achievements for this adventure and prepare for the next. For vanquishing all of the monsters, and finding all of the treasure, everyone can level up to level 2. Tsendur also give you each 150GP that you can spend in the market on any equipment in the basic rules.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kendrick:
At the mention of battles, treasure, and friends, Kendrick lights up. "Well that puts it in a different light," he says, adding, "I never thought of looking for a lost item as gainful employment, but this does seem pretty important."
Kendrick seems to be wavering in his desire to join the hunt for the magic item, perhaps wondering if Tsendur's description of the process is a bit too optimistic (Insight: 6 ).

Gerrard Feldren - Human Noble in Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
(Tsendur is being honest) "It may take a year to find the clasp. I can assure you that many surprises, some pleasant and some horrifying await anyone you takes on this mission."
"Well this could be the bounty of the cent'ry. Ya can count me in." Balos says slapping the table enthusiastically. "If any of ya didn't catch that me names Balos. Balos Birona."

"Well, It's not like I have anything else going on at this point," says the former ship's mate. Seeming to come to a decision, he says, "I'm in!"

Osso
"More baddies? No problem. Fun to kill baddies. And maybe I learn Common as good as Dwarven" a smile spreads to Osso's face.
In dwarven "Osso, ai-menu duzhuk"
"Osso Greyclaw at your service"
"Osso, I go. See, my Common bad". He utters, as if proving his own point.
Balos
"Well this could be the bounty of the cent'ry. Ya can count me in." Balos says slapping the table enthusiastically. "If any of ya didn't catch that me names Balos. Balos Birona."
When Bilick belches, she slaps him right across the face (No damage, but his cheek will sting). Then turns her attention to the half-orc.
"I'm in" She says with excitement "So where to?"
