It seems that a massive explosion from the outside destroyed the wall. This is likely to be how the intruders got into the house. Much of what was inside has also been scattered outside, and around the room. This might have been from a magical fire storm that swirled and picked even the furniture up and cast it around and even outside the house. There are stairs, that are damaged from the fire, that lead up to another floor.
OOC: Also, have I attempted to move the body yet? Just FYI, these forums can load weirdly and sometimes I have to do it twice for all the posts to load.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kendrick:
Kendrick moves north to the door (g5), yanking it open and calling, "Any survivors here?" He then pivots and stabs at the remaining zombie, now close enough to take fire damage if he hits it, but unwilling to back off and draw an opportunistic attack.
(Move, interact with door, attack with rage) -- Longspear (Pike): Attack: 9 Damage: 10

Zan carries the body outside. "Oh Jasper!" The farmer shouts and comes running over. "Oh, what have they done!"One of the other villager faints at the sight of the dead boy.
Bilick discovers the lavatory. This is the restroom of the cottage and has not yet been touched by the fires or the fighting. There is a bathtub along the north wall, which contains a handful of stones. Against the west wall sits a commode. There is a window above the commode that can be opened or closed.
Tella finds that the top floor contains the shattered remnants of Tsendur’s laboratory. Various apparatuses, vials, papers, and beakers lie shattered around what is left of the floor. In the northwest corner of the room, an Orc’s arm pokes out from beneath an overturned bookshelf.
"Sorry about boy. Fire still burning. We put out the fire now, sad later." he states matter of factly. If anyone knew Osso, they would hear the sadness in his voice, but these new companions barely know his name. His time in the wild has not allowed Osso to learn the nuances of social interaction, and as such he comes across rather uncaring. "Come, we fight fire" he gestures to his new "friends". Leading by example he grabs the nearest pail of water and begins trying to extinguish the fire.
Zan emerges from the newly formed rubble carrying the child. He places the body of the boy on the ground, leans his ear down to the boys face, and listens for even the faintest sound of breath or sign of life.
Bilick studies the stones in the tub for a few seconds then grabs several of them and puts them in his bag and then moves back out of the room and towards Kendrick and the locked door.
Despite Zan's valiant efforts, there is no life left in Jasper. The towns folk that knew they boy are speechless. The other continue to work to put out the fire.
Kendrick crashes though the door and into Tsendur's bedroom. The chamber is a basic bedroom with a wooden framed bed along the east wall. There is a wooden wardrobe along the north wall, next to a closed window in the northeast corner of the room. The wardrobe contains four sets of common clothes, a fine robe, and several small personal effects.
Tella tries to free Tsendur from under the bookshelf, but it doesn't move. "Thank goodness you found me." Tsendur says from beneath the bookshelf. "I thought I was a goner for sure!"
