Adanmar curses the Lord Mist, the fastest route is not always the straight one. The Revenant proceeds through the castle lower levels in parkour-style. Walls, furniture, chandeliers, and ghouls are welcoming steps for his feet while trying to catch up with Strahd.
Exactly so! You find yourselves chasing the echoes of Strahd as it careens down the very hallway that you fought Rahadin in! The mists seap into the very floor of the hall, but in his quick thinking, Adanmar ties a rope to one of the large statues and slams through the ornate glass window. He falls for a moment, yet catches the swing and crashes into the floor below. The rest of the Mistbusters soon follow!
As the fog of the once great vampire lord seeps through the floor, George has idea. George has great idea: Giant Smash. Taking the last plan of pushing a statue out a window to the extreme, George, in his Herculean strength, pushes a massive statue of Strahd from the second floor balcony over the edge of the foyer. It falls headfirst like a battering ram crashing through the floor into the catacombs. You all slide down the now crumbled masonry into the depths of the castle and there you see it... the coffin of Strahd Von Zarovich. You see that the statue’s crash has pushed the lid off of the fine stone coffin. You see that Strahd’s body has reformed, but the visible strain he is under makes it clear that he is far from healed. You see as he strains to move his neck to look to you all.
”So... this is how it all ends. You... you will be the ones to end my...”
Strahd breathes deeply, painfully...
”Yes... yes... there can be no other. You... the Mistbusters. Those that rose where I fell. Those that clung to that precious hope that I lost that night...”
You see, far above you, through the broken windows and shattered walls, the clouded night sky of Barovia release but a few strands of a sunrise.
”How I had forgotten how lovely that light... that I abandoned so long ago...“
Strahd closes his eyes.
”Sergei... my brother... how I envy you in these final moments...”
The Revenant reaches the Lord's coffin, painting for this last rush, he seeks his family Wooden Stake he saves for this moment "You have forgotten so many things Strahd, but I cannot forget what you did to my family....I am honored to bring their justice and revenge upon you. If it is the light you are looking for Strahd, this is the light a Ghostslayer can give it to you, and that you deserve it"
Adanmar strikes Strahd with the Wooden Stake in his very heart and finally smile, while tears watering his eyes "I make it father, mother" The Revenant close the eyes, inspiring deeply "I am ready to join you, wherever you are"
The Revenant, whose rage and anger bring him back to life, starts feeling that force, drained, out of his flesh, he starts to mumble and tremor, he knows he is close to collapse, this time, forever.
"George, Elwarith, friends, please brings me to Viorela and Davmorn, I have a couple of things to do, before leaving this world of living beings, this time, for real"
With the help of the standing Mistbusters, Adanmar, painstakingly manages to reach the corpses of the Cleric and the Paladin.
"If we make it, it is for everyone efforts, please, leave for me Mistbusters, and pass on the story of the last of the Windblood"
With the last efforts of vitality, Adanmar burns his last gifts, and casts Raise Dead on Davmorn and Viorela.
He finally turns to George and Elwarith.
"Thank you my friends, it has been a complicated, but pleasant journey with you all..." Adanmar grins, for the last time, and then, his dead body, crushes in the ground.
Indeed, the fury that dwelt deep within the Revenant’s soul finally calms. Adanmar feels a weight lift off of his shoulders as he now is simply... tired... As his corporeal form dissipates, he sees the final glimpses of his earthly family, the Mistbusters, before joining the rest of his family in the afterlife.
Meanwhile, Viorela, you come to once more. Two deaths in a day, that’s a new one! You too feel the oath of vengeance release as Argynvosthold, the silver dragon, and the rest of his revenants pass from the land of Barovia. You see that the outside has burst into full daylight and the fog has melted away. It’s... over. It’s finally over... The road away is clear once more.
If one else would like to do something in Barovia before leaving its borders, feel free to post a little epilogue. However, despite the many trials, and a few members who oddly vanished. The story of the Mistbusters has at last come to completion...
CONGRATULATIONS! Thank you all for playing this campaign that has spanned almost two years now! How time flies! I greatly enjoyed playing with each of you and I look forward to the stories that we’ll create in the future!

I never thought we'd actually get through this one - so I congratulate those of us who stuck through it. Thank you so much for a fun and entertaining game, and thank you JcAndD for DM'ing - if you ever need more players in other games you have to just ask.
Well done once again everyone and thank you.
I'd like to think that Elwarith will take what he has learned here in Barovia and return to Toril an even more accomplished assassin then when he joined the Mistbusters and lives a long and prosperous life for hire
and when he dies it is because he crosses the wrong person, and a contract is put out on him......
