Standing up Alton pulls out a potion of healing from a pouch and quickly downs it. Taking out his rapier, he makes a few flurries before making his strike at the Brigand.
Movement: Half to stand up. Bonus Action: Drinks a potion of healing for 8 health. Action: Attacks Brigand X with the rapier, Attack: 11 , Damage: 9 piercing.
(Man, my dice rolls are not doing great recently.)
11... is just enough to hit this guy. Now you are at close quarters, you can see that he was already wounded from something, and is now pretty close to dropping.
Swin uses the last two little meteors to do a bit more damage to Brigand 1 and D.
Brigand 1, locked in place by his guards and the looming presence of Balasaar, makes two attacks with his rapier: 19 against AC, and a Nat 20 for 25, doing 17 points of piercing damage.
As he does this, he is continuing to mutter to himself, but loud enough to be easily heard: "Yes, I have her favour, I will triumph as always, this is not the end, this is not the end..."
Round Four Rhane and Kef Brigands B, and D Darren and Balasaar Brigands X and Y Alton and Swin Brigand 1
A bit flustered at being in close combat now, Rhane lashes out at the badly-wounded Brigand X. Unable to connect with a front snap kick, he follows up with a spinning side kick that just barely connects! He stays where he is, hoping to be a distraction for the bandits so they don't gang up on Alton again.
(Standard Action Unarmed attack 8 vs AC, then Bonus Action Unarmed attack 11 vs AC and 7 points damage.)

Brigand Y attacks Rhane twice, 12 against AC both times - doesn't even come close to hitting as Rhane dodges skilfully out of the way of the brigand's mace.
Skewered like a rat on a stick! Brigand Y is dead.
Swin fires a firebolt at Brigand D, hitting and killing them. Only Brigand 1 is left alive.
"She tests me! She tests my faith, my loyalty! But with her, all paths lead to victory." He is ranting now, manic, and he reaches forward to grab hold of Balasaar's arm. Balasaar, you feel a shock as lightning courses through your body; you take 10 points of lightning damage, and the brigand backs away (you don't get an opportunity attack).
Round Five Rhane, and Kef Darren and Balasaar Alton and Swin Brigand 1
Rhane is up. Kef will follow your lead, if you want to talk to the brigand, try to capture him or kill him, it's up to you.
Moving smoothly up to the babbling brigand, Rhane says, "I know not what he babbles about, but just in case it is part of a larger cult, I'll try and take him alive."
Rhane throws an elbow at the brigand's face, then follows up with a swift roundhouse kick to try and knock him unconscious!
Unarmed attack to subdue: 11 to hit (miss)
Second attack: 18 to hit, 8damage

Balasaar, that's an Athletics check (2014 rules - the unarmed strike thing is 2024 rules). You successfully grapple the Brigand, who cannot now move. That only uses one of your attack actions - you still have your extra attack.
As Balassar grapples the man he moves his arms into position to begin trying to choke his opponent out in order to subdue him “Surrender, this she has given up on you.”
Balasaar's second attack is enough to knock the man unconscious; there is rage and hatred in his eyes, suddenly extinguished as his body drops to the ground.
You have defeated all the enemies in this area. Combat is over.
Balassar just let's go of the man as he goes limp and then stands up looking at the group. He just bends down to pick up his scimitar and sheath it "Could use a good ale right now. Anyone got rope for this guy?" he says looking around.
"A few good ales and a nap. I'm starting to feel fatigued, but I think I've got a few more spells in me." Alton says. Putting away his weapons he begins to search the bodies for anything useful, hoping they have a healing potion or two they forgot about.

He presses with the attack against brigand D (7 to hit, 4 dmg)
That's a miss.
Brigand Y attacks Rhane twice, 12 against AC both times - doesn't even come close to hitting as Rhane dodges skilfully out of the way of the brigand's mace.

Balassar hears the idea to take the Brigand alive and lunges at him to grapple him.
