"Well we did get a jumpstart on the elemental essences which is the primary reason we first came here, of course that took a momentary backseat to the need to stop Zakor."
Banzo looks at his tattoo for a moment.
"Ok, we have an idea how to charge them... maybe. At least it seemed to work with one of them. Once we get a rest we should explore this mountain a little more just to make sure we didn't miss any and also see if we can charge any more."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Norm & Clem: " That they are, Ma'am. All present and correct."
"I am glad to hear it." Enwynn replies, entirely unworried by being left in the company of a burnt-out former administrator of evil and a pair of trolls to sort out the minor details of new management while the heroes confer elsewhere.
She assumes a dangerously calm expression as she explains to Clem and Norm "Now, while I understand that demonic patrons were encouraged by the previous management, that is no longer the case. However, I have no quarrel - Well, not that I know of - with the Father Of Trolls, or those of his offspring who are willing to listen to reason. As He is also the Father Of Goblins and Of Orcs, I expect you both to work with your sibling species and others besides without wasting my time with petty arguments and bullying."
The elf smiles as she concludes "I would also prefer that any arguments over the superiority of your cuisine over all others be settled by a cook-off that does not include eating the loser. Goes against tradition, I know, but I would prefer staff lived to learn from their defeats. Saves on interviews and equipment costs for one thing. Of course, any staff who do not see fit to comply with this policy will be dealt with. Permanently."
"Now, a question that requires an answer, and swiftly: Where are the troglodyte known as Kremmel's quarters to be found?" Enwynn asks, looking from Norm and Clem, and then to Redrobes, including them in the inquiry.
After a moment's thought Enwynn sighs and mutters "That's on me for not specifying Living Quarters..." then more brightly "I meant where did Kremmel live, while still in service to the previous overlord of Firetop Mountain?" and makes a mental note to discuss certain meats being off the menu from now on.
OOC EDIT: Enwynn makes a Medicine check on Troglodytes, how large are they and would one fit into a cupboard? 19 and Perception Check on Clem telling the truth 15.

" Aye, that's him. In the cupboard. I dunnow if he mighta taken em keys wit him or not."
Troglodytes are small ranging between one to three feet with rare ones occasionally reaching four. Clem appears almost incapable of not telling the truth.....in that lying would require a quickness of wit that he does not seem to possess.
Banzo will lead everyone back to the pantry to check the cupboard.

Banzo still isn't sure what the trolls mean by the troglodyte's quarter's are in the cupboard, could he be living in there or was he dead and the trolls planned on using parts of him for ingredients in their cooking and were making some kind of sick joke or reference to that being his quarters.
On the way, as they are nearly there, he'll ask the trolls, "Does he live in the cupboard? Or is that where is body is stuffed?"

"If I recall correctly, Troglodytes are small in stature..." Enwynn says quietly to Banzo, "I hope I'm right about that, but Clem does not strike me as one who plays fast and loose with the truth." and rubs her temples to better focus her mind as she adds "Either way, we need to check for keys. If they are alive, then perhaps they may also have information of use to us."
She glances at Herman, raises an eyebrow and says "If you plan on changing your sleeping arrangements, I think we may need a whole pantry in your case, not a cupboard."
When the party escorts Clem and Norm back to the kitchens, the elf quietly asks Red Robes "Are you in pain, or did the flames take the feeling with them as well as the flesh?"
OOC: Medicine check on Red Robes: 15. They might be evil, but dragging them around Firetop on burn-scarred feet isn't good either.

Moving out the group finds no sign of their earlier befriended goblin, Libb, as they move into the dwarven delvings and pass through them without incident...
They pass by the Brains layers fleshy alcove, passing through the library...and by Leighs corpse...through the trapped corridor where they had met Libb.
Past Shades sundered door the group goes....past the chess game...past the vermin pit....
The Heroes of Chalice, though that name holds true meaning for only a few of the current members, continue on past the room that contained the Plaguebearer....the Chaos Warrior barracks....past the door they hadn't opened that had smelt of old blood ( that door was still closed).....as they finally arrived at the room that had been full of feasting merry-makers they saw the door was now open and the room was empty.....
Ennwyns inspection of the red robed human indicated they had dozens of different burns of various ages, some very old indeed others rather fresh....they seemed little troubled by any of them....perhaps they were marks of Faith in Filash. Whatever the case he simply shrugged at any concern.
mhhh... where is this damn cupboard?! uh, and, by the way, I think we did not open that stinky creepy door overthere...
Peering within the canteen it appears to have been abandoned in a hurry with tables still piled with food and drink, indeed there is still a heavily inebriated Hill Goblin collapsed in one of the corners of the room. There are ample supplies of food and drink here though some of them May be an.....acquired taste.
To the right is the bar and behind it a kitchen and two closed wooden doors.
Enwynn does not know if she should feel glad Libb has taken the advice to make themselves scarce or sorry that they have done so, but on the balance, simply hopes that they are better off wherever they may be now than they were here.
Her impassive expression does not change at the sight of the remains of Leigh. Some sorrows are too deep to plumb the depths of safely, and certainly not when too many other lives hang in the balance. Many grave wounds have been healed by Erillia's blessings and her own hands before, but those wounds do not include the loss of an entire head. It is also beneath her to kick the corpse of the one responsible for that state of affairs, and the anger she feels even now is pointless, a fierce beast, but one without prey in sight.
The chess room draws a brief smile from her at the memory of what was won, and how that helped another victory occur.
The elf offers "I don't recallchecking that door last time, Herman, so you're probably right. Give me a moment to make sure that goblin won't choke on their own vomit in their sleep and I'll give it a look over after the cupboard."
OOC: Medicine check on Hill Goblin of 14. Are they out of it for real, and if so, are they in any danger in their current position?

" Oh, in a cupboard in the back of the canteen."

“I saw a Trog width Dee barbarians. Perchaps we can send Clem to retrieve Dee keys?” Tzedaka suggests (a test of his fidelity)

As the companions begin to gather to follow, Tzedaka recalls dangers on her journey....
“Der is a group of Skeletons marching, and at puzzles, we can go fight. Otter areas at Dee river vas clear. I do not know vhat is past Dee mind.”
" Sleeps there. Ain't dead last I saw him."
"Then we're going to wake him up if he's home."
