ooc: I'd say in order not to loose game time, can we use some downtime activities to sell the pieces of art and anything else we might find redudant. does it sound good? if yes, how many purchasers can we find in this town and how much are they willing to pay?
From my inventory I put on sale the HALF-PLATE +1
From the common treasure section I'd sell the followings (if the list is updated):
20,000 gp worth of precious metals in the form of heavy ingots.
- 5,000 gp worth of jewellry in the form wedding and engagement rings, decorative jewellery and school pins on the hundreds of corpses.
- Another he recognises as Adamant which when smelted with silver and electrum can produce Adamantine in the hands of a skilled smith. ( about 5000 gp worth).
- Another he recognises as Mithril. ( about 2'500 gp worth)
- Opals- 3000 gp worth.
- Emeralds- 2000 gp worth
- Topaz- 400 gp worth
- Rubies- 1000 gp worth
- Jade- 600 gp worth.
imho we should purchase a cart and/or horses
what else if for sale here in this town (especially magic items)?
Anvils more of a way station than a town.....permanent population is village level.....while you might be able to sell or buy from some of the merchant caravans Stonebridge is probably a better bet.
But the majority of that list was sold off a long time ago when you returned to Chalice from the Dwarven ruins.
"Please tell me we're going to spend at least one night here at the Two Moons Tavern. I could really use a rest!"
Banzo avails himself of the free food and drink, "Does the food and drink seem all the much better for being free, ha ha!"

Tzedaka has been at the temple of Libra in deep reflection. When it is time to leave, the party can find her there. She prays to Libra for direction. Augury:Will it be beneficial to the heroes of Allansia to visit the dwarves at Stonebridge and Yaztromo?
She will also go into a deep meditative state. She remembers with great clarity why she was sent here. She must aid the heroes as they stand against and are targeted by an ancient enemy of her ' Mother' the Night Demon Prince, Shakor. Defeating Zagor will, in some way, aid in this goal. Now, she seeks the next steps in this monumental fight.

Tzedaka gets the impression that it certainly can't hurt....but tending to Weal....
The next morning, Tzedaka waits for the group in the main hall of the tavern. She has all of her disguises off. She is dressed again in a plain priestess of Libra grey robe. She has a white cape, hanging over her shoulders to the floor. Her platinum, almost translucent long hair flows behind her. She is positively radiant, her features smooth and flawless, as if touched by light itself. She exudes a calm confidence, inner peace, and strength. Her aura seems to draw people to her with invisible magnetism. This beauty is not just skin deep, but emanates from her soul, a reflection of wisdom, kindness, and power that goes beyond the physical realm. Being out in the open, her skin has become less translucent and more of an alabaster color. Her eyes, glow with a vibrant pure royal blue. People crowd around her, asking her for her blessing, wanting to touch her or just be near her. She is welcoming and patient as she spreads hope to the crowd, "Zagor is gone, Zagor is dead...they keep saying.
" Tan Cava, Skyhunter.......you are a long way from home, Dragon-kin."
" If indeed you have destroyed that evil then all here owe you a great debt, allow me to pay my share of it."
He reached into his pouch and pulled forth a fist sized green leathery orb and threw it to Tannin, when he caught it he was shocked by its chilly temperature.
" The heart of a Coldclaw. If you store it with your provisions they will not perish as fast as normal."
"Well met, yes along way," he takes a look at the cold claw heart, then puts it in with his provisions "Your name was good enough, Tan Cava, but I thank you for this, um this wouldn't be a element of water, would it?"

The elf cocked his head oddly, " It is not....merely a quirk of strange biology.....but Zagor, it was rumoured, was seeking Elemental Essences.....you are not looking to continue his works?"
The companions made ready for their journey South.....
Recollections-
Caldwin nodded as Banzo spoke.
" So the Rock Demon you banished was Pelucidus....spawned by the Night Demon Shakor one of the Seven Demon Princes of The Pit. Now Night Demons are second only to the Trio of Serpent Princes."
" To remove a Demon Princes brand is difficult...almost beyond my knowledge. Almost..."
" I believe I know a ritual which should be able to remove the mark."
" I will need the following items to conduct it:- 500 gold worth of diamonds, Demon Ichor and Elemental Essences of Air, Earth, Water and Fire. I have the oils and incense necessary. Can you procur the rest?"
" Shakor? Ah! "
The old priest went to the desk and pulled out a thick metal bound tome and began reading from it.
" The Palace of Shakor lies within the Plane of Bile. This is a sprawling, anarchic series of palatial towers; one may be a gleaming golden pyramid, another, a corpse-studded battlement topped with an immense all-seeing eye.
It is the abode of the Night Demon Shakor, and she is served by Venom Demons ruling over savage, ancient clans of Acid Demons. Shakor is a follower of the Snake Demon Ishtra, and as such other palace inhabitants include the dread Angaroc, who stalk the hallways and corridors feasting on the life-forces of those unfortunate enough to encounter them."
" Oh....I would suggest sealed containers of inert metal or very strong glass to contain such substances."
He looked confused for a moment then brightened, " I believe there were rumors recently that Zagor was collecting similar essences as well..."
The journey from Anvil to Stonebridge was half a day and the companions set out early so were looking forward to arriving in time for lunch.......
However a few hours into the journey they came across a northward bound wagon with a broken wheel..........the despondent looking young human driver looked up excitedly as they came into view......
Banzo will cast Find Familiar early in the morning before they set off for that day. (Just wanted to mention this so that I would have Zeno again, my black and white tuxedo pattern cat familiar.)

"Maybe we can fix it. Can't hurt to take a look."

Tzedaka: "Well, perchaps we should go visit dee dwarves and see what is occurring der."
Enwynn nods in agreement as she opines "It is not like them to forgo any reply, but it is possible my messengers did not reach friendly eyes and hands. I have known of dwarves who feel that elves are to be discouraged from poking their noses into dwarven matters, but the King of Stonebridge has been quite welcoming to elven visitors in my experience."
Tzedaka: "We need to find dee water element and get dese marks off of you quickly. Vengence is coming and you can be tracked."
The druidess looks to Banzo, Garet and Herman as she suggests "We should not stay in any one place too long until the marks are finally dealt with."
She is quiet as the discussion turns to Chalice, but looks a little wistful at the thought of returning, then concerned that Yaztromo spoke of plague. Nonetheless, Enwynn offers "If he offers an alternative route to what we seek, I would be glad to know of it. The one likely containment device found within Firetop's walls with the sigil of water on it was broken when found, its contents no longer present."
OOC: If I am incorrect in that memory as a player, I would be happy to adjust that last bit as required.
In the morning...
The druidess spends a little while sorting out sundry small but common items into her pack, and feeding Corwyn slivers of pinenut-rolled goatcheese. Her casual air is entirely broken by the sight of Tszdaka in divine splendour rather than stealthful guise, leaving the crow to utter "Cawsun?" in bewilderment.
"She gives others hope..." Enwynn explains softly "...Sometimes that is more useful than security in hiding." as she rapidly finishes her packing.
She thanks the good folk of the Two Moons tavern for their hospitality and joins the group on the road after keeping an eye out behind them for trouble high and low with Corwyn.
On sighting the broken down wagon, Enwynn looks about for the likely cause, then any less likely ones lurking around the periphery of the trail.
OOC: Looking for any obstacles in the path behind the wagon that could have dislodged a wheel with Survival 17 total, then looking for anything else that seems out of place with Perception total of 10.

Nothing is visible that would explain the wheel coming off....indeed all the spokes seem to have been cut cleanly through by something very sharp and quick if the wheel was in motion at the time....
( Could I have a Perception or possibly Arcane Check from Herman, Banzo and Garet)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Banzo studies the wheel to try and determine if a spell or anything magical could of played a part in what happened.

"Hmm... that's odd. What do you guys think?" asking Herman and Garet (who are also examining the wheel?).

and, ok, at Stonebridge
