The Bronze Dragonborn, still in his purple and blue vestments, looked at the angelic being (Religion: 8). He believed this being to be a messenger from Tyr and saluted it.
The angel salutes Shesha back. "The minions of the Demon Lord Juiblex have gone too far. You have been selected to vanquish them in the name of Tyr." He focuses, there is a burst of light that fills your entire mind, and then there is only blackness. Then, there is nothing. . .

You come to in an unfamiliar town square, with no memories of leaving the church. Make an Intelligence (Perception) check. The Keen Mind feat grants advantage.
The Dragonborn looks around the town square, looking for any signs or landmarks that would help him recognize the new location (Investigation: 12).
"Hm... Sharnwick." he said as he gathered his bearings. "Roughly half a week north of where we were. Now... let's see what's around."
He closed his eyes and opened his awareness to try and detect any sign of the forces or good or evil. After several moments of silent contemplation he opened eyes and began glancing around the square.
"I can sense... something..." he said. "But it's either just on the edges of my senses or has hidden itself... There are consecrated grounds here, though."
Above the nearby Church of Small Gods, a hole opens in the sky. It seems to be at once all colors and none, and out of it falls a truly massive gray ooze, which proceeds to flatten the church. Roll initiative.
Shesha draws his Holy Avenger Longsword, wielding it in one hand and gripping his shield in his other, the armored paladin begins moving towards the gray slime.
"In the name of the Maimed God, I will smite you foul mucus." he growled as he swung his blade twice at the creature (33 to hit on both).
