She had wanted to utilize the hedron bolts, but Rezivah feel extremely weak, and felt she more than likely would not be able to even aim her crossbow effectively. So instead she runs as best she can to try to pull the creature suddenly and hopefully force the creature to let go of the Kor. She laces two long whips of lightning energy and lashes them out at the aberration. One of them doesn't make so strong a connection and dissipates, but Rezivah pulls at the other that held fast with all of her might, somehow pull the great monster towards her, lightning energy surging through the electric whip.
As soon as the creature is near her, Rezivah feels a blight come over her. A strange aura encompassed the monster, sapping at Rezivah's vitality. "Everyone! Don't get too close to it! It has an aura!" was all Rezivah managed to shout. Hopefully, the others headed her words.
(move to F11. 1 sorc. pt. expended. Twinned Lightning Lure. One save, one fail. 2 lightning damage.)
Something swirled within Ato's gut. Moving. Growing. The dark voice whispered in his mind once again. "Mmmyyyy...... seed-bearer." The god of the mountain. Cosi? What is this? His strength drained, he mustered the last of his mana reserves in an attempt to subdue the abomination before them. He wasn't sure how humor translated to these aberrations, but he couldn't stand idly and watch his friends die. It turns out that humor doesn't translate too well [cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter; passed].
Rezivah could almost sense joy coming from the creature as she pulled it towards her. She soon found out why, as a crippling, withering aura surrounded both her and Vasha, draining them of their life essence like she might with her fangs to a lesser being. The creature tightened its tail around Vasha's lithe frame, cracking ribs and bruising bones as it absorbed her essence. As wounds were inflicted on her, its own wounds seemed to patch up at heal. Which decay crept from Vasha's wounds as the pain became too much and she dropped unconscious, her screams cut off. It tossed her onto the top layer of the platform as it brought its massive claw against Rezivah. Hopeless against the strike, she took the full brunt of the assault, though was able to resist the necrotic feeding [passed CON save].
Get him, Sear!! We have him right where we want him! The bat flies in for another dive-bomb fire-breath on the titan.
Even as a potted plant, Kayn is the most amazing creature in Zendikar. He feels his form transform back into that of his goblin self and sees the aberration staring at him. Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, he shifts to the south and waves his wand. The creature falls to the ground in uncontrollable laughter. This is the perfect time to get the drop on him, so Kayn starts his scaling of the hedron's pedestal. "Don't hurt him ultil you're sure you're ready to kill him!" He yells between handholds.
(7 fire damage DC 13 Dex for half, Tasha's Hideous Laughter DC 13 Wis, Kayn moves to C11 and climbs to the hedron)
Veythe was not happy, even more so that she couldn't see Vesra and she couldn't fathom the mess the group was in. They were getting kicked around and she wanted to scream at the mess. Instead she ducked around and slapped a hand against Ato's chest.
"Poison takes and poison breaks, so now let poison fade away," Veythe hummed out, and once she was certain the spell took she shoved her crossbow and bolts into Ato's arms. "Use that! They should work." Veythe stepped away and pulled out the lute, teeth ground together. They needed to do something more and fast. Vesra might be able to get to Vasha, and that at least eased some of Veythe's worries.
Her sister was down, she had to help her sister. The kor ran to her twin, casting cure wounds on her. The healing spirit she had cast earlier followed close behind, occupying the same space as her sister. "Stay away from the monster and hit those hedrons. They're near collapse, and they're doing things to us," she said to the other Kor.
Vasha opened her eyes, and felt sick. Everything hurt. She couldn't remember exactly what had happened, but she felt like hell. And there was Vesra standing over her issuing commands. What worried her the most was Vesra didn't seem concerned. "Yeah," Vasha croaked, feeling as if her ribs were puncturing her lungs. Breathing hurt and her chest burned. Sitting up, Vasha dug into her pack and withdrew one of the potions she had found earlier. "I just need a pick-me-up first." Popping it open, she guzzled the thick liquid, grimacing at the taste. She felt marginally better. "Gotta... gotta get away from it," she wheezed, moving to the first hedron she spotted.
Loading a hedron bolt onto her crossbow, and trained its sights to the best of her ability to the now laughing aberration. She wasn't sure exactly what spell Kayn had weaved onto the creature, but it seemed incapacitated for the moment. Though her aim waved as she fought with the implanted sickness within her, the monster's current state made it easier for her to maintain her sights.
(Readied action, crossbow bolt if Dust Stalker moves)
From the corner of the room, Ato stood his ground, grabbing the loaded crossbow from Veythe and taking aim, waiting for it to stir before firing a crossbow bolt at it. The creature seemed to shrug off Kayn's spell pretty quickly and ceased its alien laughing. His crossbow whizzed past Rezivah and completely missed the eldrazi, slamming into the white decay and shattering. He cursed under his breath and moved to reposition himself for another shot.
As it began to rise, the hedron's flashed a brilliant pink light, barraging the group's minds with psychic energy once again. It wracked them with more horrid visions of alien landscapes and places which tested the limits of their mortal minds [5 psychic damage]. For same, the effect passed quickly, but for most it was prolonged, reaching deeper and darker places, instigating insanity.
Ato saw things he couldn't comprehend. His mind fell easily to the psychic barrage and continued to spiral down as he relived past visions of the god of the mountain. He shuddered until something snapped within him. He moved to a clearing and fired at the eldrazi, though his shot missed the mark so much it was almost deliberate...

Vasha's brain felt muddled. This abomination was doing something to her, but she wasn't quite sure what. She only knew she needed to do something, and fighting that thing face to face wasn't an option. Vesra had mentioned hitting the hedron, and that seemed as good a plan as any. She struck it once and her knuckles skidded across the surface, leaving a trail of blood and skin behind. She drew on her inner power, striking again, and this time, small pieces flew off. One last strike, and her knuckles skidded across its surface once again. She swore under her breath, feeling like a fool.
(Attack 8 to hit, Ki spent for Flurry of Blows, 22 to hit for 5 damage, 8 to hit)
Kayn shrugs off another wave of psychic energy. His goblin natural resistance to this sort of onslaught allowed him to fortify his mind. Just as he thought he was about to crack, the speckormerelf's voice entered his head. It is merely in your head, rock-eater. Kayn narrows his eyes and grins.
The creature's laughter stops just as Kayn reaches the top of the hedron pillar. It's quite resilient, but Kayn has multiple tricks up his sleeve. "Move back, Vessie!" He calls out, waiting for her to be out of range before twirling his wand in a circle and thrusting it forward to bathe the room in thick, sticky webs. Kayn's grin widens as he imagines the creature burning in a wave of flames. It doesn't stand a chance.
Veythe blinked at the sudden rush of revitalization as the glowing spirit landed right on top of her head. She looked around to find Vesra, and then hoped at the least Vesra could see her as she signed thanks! before she cataloged the party she could see. Ato was no longer poisoned, she could send out some health toward the party but--Rezivah was right in front of her. Rezivah who was poisoned too. Rezivah who she didn't like. Veythe grit her teeth and raced forward.
**** it, they didn't have time for this.
"Poison bites and poison fights, but let this poison be undone tonight," Veythe grit out as she focused on healing up the damage that Rezivah had currently sustained. "That's the best I can do."
After a heavy swipe from the aberration, Rezivah quickly felt her life was soon to come to an end, but Veythe suddenly came to her aid, restoring vitality to the vampire. As much as the human could offer, Rezivah still didn't feel she was at a good enough point to continue to fight effectively, so she focused on weaving around the monster's attacks and ran for the healing aura. Now, she thought, she would better assist everyone in.. not dying right now.
Kayn's web heavily ensnared the large aberration as thick, sticky strands of web burst across its form, heavily subduing it.... or so they thought. It screeched loudly, its emanations echoing into their minds telepathically as it broke its way through, moving directly for Ato and Veythe. As it drew near them, they could feel its withering aura overcome them, slowly draining them of their life. With a quick flick of its tail, it drove the hardened tip straight through Ato's torso, causing white decay to form around the wound and healing its own wounds [Natural 20, 18 damage; 2 hit points healed]. It swung at Veythe, though its swing was off and she was easily able to duck low and avoid the blow. A faint humming could be heard from the hedrons as they flashed a brilliant white light, covering the room in void energy which healed the aberration [18 hit points healed].
Vasha was feeling drained. Her inner power was depleted and she had few options. Pulling back a fist, she hit the hedron again, her bloody knuckles doing nothing to it. She pulled back again, and this time, connected, hard. The hedron burst in a brilliant display of chromatic color before falling to the ground in a pile of rubble. The abomination cried out, loudly. "Time to move," she said to Vesra, and she began to carefully make her way to the next hedron.
The healing spirit moved again to where it was needed most, sitting right on top of Ato. The kor then summoned a vine covered in thorns that wrapped around the Corrupter and pulled it ten feet toward her.
(OOC: 23 to hit for the thorn whip and 5 damage, remained at E6)
Veythe grit her teeth and quickly dashed over to where Ato had fallen. She reached out with her hand as she hummed under her breath, her other hand keeping a tight hold on her lute, "Don't fall on me now. Keep on standing and keep on fighting; just don't fall on me now." She trailed her fingers along the mer's arm and sucked in a breath when she felt the healing magic of the spirit before she stood back up. Veythe sought out Vesra, tugged her lute up, and began to play.
"Small and slight but full of fight, a sweet little flower with thorns that bite. Take my magic and take my song; kick some ass and don't leave us alone!" The lute complimented the way she sung, voice twisting into a lyrical hold of magic as she focused and weaved the mana into what she wanted it to be. In this case something to inspire, to grasp hold and help the people around her. Something wholly for Vesra.
Kayn scowled as the creature ripped through the webs and charged forward at his allies. He saw Ato get speared by the tail and Veythe rush out to rescue him. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Vesra summon a thorny whip, much like what they saw in the forest just a few days ago. So they were hugging her!! He thought. The vine whipped out and wrapped around the Corrupter's neck, forcing it back into the webbing. "Yeah Vessie!" Kayn yelled.
He pulled in the managic surrounding the area and focused it into his wand. The power felt overwhelming and supercharged from the wild energy surrounding this place. Thrusting forward with both hands, a huge cone of fire bathed both the Corrupter and the hedron in front of him. The hedron shattered in a beautiful prismatic spray just as the creature's head got bathed in the flames. In the chaos of fire, he could see it duck down just enough to avoid the brunt of the assault. But the spectacle was satisfying, nonetheless, and left the goblin wanting to do it again!
(Flaming Hands, 18 damage and burning webs, 5 damage (supercharged with wild managic), creature saved (14 damage total))
Rezivah moves passed Veythe, thinking casting another black spell to hinder the creatures healing abilities, but opts out last second to fire another herdron bolt.
Taking aim, she has the aberration square in her sights but the moment she fires a wave of nausia overcomes her, and her bolt goes flying off.
As Rezivah's bolt sailed through the open air, shattering against the ceiling up above, the aberration was already climbing up the steps towards Kayn, breaking through the webbing with little effort [passed Dexterity save]. Ato fired his crossbow as soon as he saw the movement, which sunk into the creature's flesh, though did little else to stop it [7 piercing damage; passed Constitution save]. Though he was amidst the rubble, the creature's towering form rose into the sky above him, its head almost clipping the ceiling, as both its tail and large claw barreled towards Kayn [16 and 24 to-hit]. Kayn instinctively cast shield. While it redirected the tail's force, the claw broke though, rending through Kayn's skin as the beast tried to absorb his life essence [17 damage, passed Constitution save]. While he resisted the claw's necrotic force, he could begin to feel the withering aura take its toll on him from being in such close proximity.
The hedrons flashed a brilliant pink color, assaulting the group's minds like before. They noticed the effect to not be quite as pressing and severe as it was when all four hedrons once stood... [4 psychic damage].
Ato quickly loaded the crossbow, aiming and taking fire. Kayn's mere presence allowed him to focus on the beast, cutting through the thick hide with his hedron-tipped bolt and sinking it into the creature's flesh [11 piercing damage; not shown under "Status Tracker"]. It still resisted the supposed ability to paralyze it, making the group doubt in the bolts' capabilities.
