Another party of adventurers, locally based, delved into the Sunless Citadel a month past. They were never seen again. Two human members of that ill-fated party were brother and sister, Talgen Hucrele (a fighter) and Sharwyn Hucrele (a wizard). They were part of an important merchant family based in the nearby village of Oakhurst. Kerowyn Hucrele, the matriarch of the family, offers salvage rights to you and your team if you can find and return with the two lost members of her family—or at least return the gold signet rings worn by the missing brother and sister. She also offers a reward of 125 gp per signet ring, per character. If the characters bring back the Hucreles in good shape (of good mind and body), she offers to double the reward.

Her father, fed up with her constant misbehavior decided she should her energy in a different way, so when she turned 13 she began her training to become a paladin in the name of Kord.

But seeing the power he wielded, his clan feared him, driving Torinn away. He hid in the Dessarin Hills for years, honing his sorcerous powers. Torinn soon was recruited by the Cult of the Eternal Flame after meeting the leader, Vanifer. But seeing the evil of the cult, he fled for his life. Torinn soon set out on a quest to find the reason why he was given his powers.

Age: 30 Character Name: Cass Banditbane Character Race/Class: Half-Orc Warlock Character Alignment: Neutral 2 Paragraph Background: Cass Banditbane is the assumed named of Fergal Smith, son of legendary adventurer Orias Smith, a renowned human bard who was conceived Cass accidentally as the result of dare during his adventuring days. Retiring and becoming a noble of Winterhaven, Orias was embarrassed to find Cass left on his doorstep and that embarrassment continued when his only son proved to be inept and socially awkward as he grew. Orias spoiled his son but gave up on him early and assigned him meaningless jobs that kept him away from the other townsfolk. As a young adult, Cass grabbed and broke one of his father's treasures from his adventures, which gave him powers and a connection to an unknown God from a far realm. The telepathy and illusions that Cass gained further alienated him from the townspeople and Cass decided to set out on his own against his father's wishes and make a name for himself greater than his father's.
Character Name: Naivara Liadon Character Race/Class: Wood Elf Rogue Character Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Background: Charlatan Backstory: Throughout most of her life, Naivara has always been rather shy and looked over. Being the youngest of 9 siblings everything has always been chaotic and she is used to being forgotten. However she picked up a knack for disappearing into the shadows and using her size to not be notice. She started to just mess with people, moving things around, making them think they were crazy just for the attention. However she continued to get away with it becoming more and more adventurous.
She also begun to discover that is the brief moments when she talked to people they seemed to always do what she said. She was always able to get people to do what she wanted and the brief times when she was caught she was able to talk her way out of it. She begun to get tired of constantly being looked over and forgotten through out the elves and wanted to go see what else was out in the world.
2 Paragraph Backstory: Emrin was born to the Kexish clan of metallic dragonborns. This clan is most especially known for its devotion to the study of the arcane. But as a young child, Emrin was not interested at all in his clans studious nature. He would much rather ditch his rigorous classes to roam around smacking things with a stick. As time progressed, his family and whole clan grew impatient that he was not progressing as fast in his studies as the rest of the students. When a graduation exam was issued, he failed horribly. Worse then anyone had ever done before.
Emrin was then challenged to an arcane duel by his teacher, as was tradition when someone was on the brink of being kicked out of the clan. But instead of magic, he decided to use a roughly cut wooden sword he made in his time instead of studying. While he couldn't beat his professor, because of the age and skill difference between the two, he put up a good fight, keeping him a member of the clan. But anger against him only grew because he had used a martial weapon instead of arcane magic that the duel required of him. Eventually this social pressure became too great and Emrin left the clan on his own, leaving the only place he had known home to make his way in the world.
2 Paragraph Backstory: Raised in an orphanage managed by a church of Tyr, Sarlypsis was named after her deceased mother, who left her orphan at an early age. She discovered her magic blood in her late teens, after several incidentes involving her roommates floating like balloons or the curtains catching fire. She inherited her magic blood from her grandmother, yet this is still unbeknownst to her.
After leaving the orphanage, she decided to make some use of her abilities, and to find out about her family's origins. She decided to travel as an adventurer to gather information and control her abilities. She wasn't liked much in taverns and inn's, but found a small society of sages who searched for the truth behind magic and its origin, which she decided to join. After a few months of living with this society, she couldn't stand the slow pace of her researching and the limited sources the society had, so she decided to keep on traveling.

Background: Born in an outskirt town, there was an ever present threat of raids from any number of hostile enemies. During one such raid, a sizable portion of the town's defense was lost to the attacking giants. Jux's parents were among the dead, leaving him orphaned. Being only 5 years old, there was nothing Jux could have done to prevent the tragedy that would change his life forever. Jux turned to the temple of Lathander for refuge.
Believing that he could have helped more if he could have healed the combatants in the raid, he gave his life to Lathander's teachings, learning healing magics. Jux believes in his faith and he trusts his religious superiors to a fault. He will do what he believes is right and just so long as it does not interfere with his diety.

Background: Bazan-Gore was born in a clan that worshipped traditions of the old ways. Cruelty, Slavery, Extortion we're his parents ways for a long time. Until they finally realised the clan could bring home more wealth then the other clans if they moved to the big city. Once they got accepted as a familly in the big city, which was a very hard thing to accomplish. They started building houses where different things could be bought. Bazan-Gore became addicted to literature and devoured books after books. He started, much like his mother, learning the ways of magics. Unlike his familly, he wasn't content with mundane wealth. His books having shown him magical items of much more worth.
He snuck out the home, one night, and peered into some shops windows. Appraising items was something he liked to do. but he hated his familly traditions of slavery and tortures. All he wanted was to get out of the city and find those rare magical items. So after a few nocturnal escapades... He finally decided to move out of the home and get to the adventurous life in the wild world. He took a few packs and things to help him, then left home and walked and walked. Still is walking to this day
