In the city of Neverwinter, a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker asked you to bring a wagon load of provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days' travel southeast of the city. Gundren was clearly excited and more than a little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his brothers had found "something big," and that he'd pay you ten gold pieces each for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen's Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior escort named Sildar Haliwinter, claiming he needed to arrive early to "take care of business." You've spent the last few days following the High Road south from Neverwinter, and you've just recently veered east along the Triboar Trail. You've encountered no trouble so far, but this territory can be dangerous. Bandits and outlaws have been known to lurk along the trail.
Rasazira is walking along the road. She looks hot, and has taken off her cloak. But anyone could tell from a distance that she's not a social butterfly.

Sorasuna spots Rasazira on the road, and unlike everyone, she is kind of oblivious to social cues. Instead, Sorasuna hops off the wagon and runs up to Rasazira with a waterskin. "Oh my! Are you alright!? You look quite hot, my friend." She says in a chipper voice with a wide grin on her dragon face.

You've been on the Triboar Trail for about half a day. As you come around a bend, you spot two dead horses sprawled about fifty feet ahead of you, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. The woods press close to the trail here, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side.

The woman jumps, and looks rather stunned. "Uh...I- I am." She stutters. "Who are you?" She then narrows her eyes.

Nyaxan looks around, past the dead horses and the shafts protruding from their sides. Then kneels down next to the horses saying a small prayer for their souls under her breath.
"My apologies! It must be so frightening to see a black dragonborn in person!" Of course, Sorasuna could not tell if Rasazira was afraid or just bothered. "I am Sorasuna, the great hero from the sands of Anauroch. Kind of far from here, so you probably haven't heard of me." Her voice faltered as if she were incredibly disappointed.
"Oh, poor horses," Sorasuna shakes her head solemnly. Khan'dor seemed pretty worried, and he seemed pretty smart to Sorasuna. She pulled her sword and shield out, ready for anything. "I'll investigate it, friends... never fear!" Sorasuna held her shield up and marched forward, her tail swinging slowly back and forth in excitement.

Rasazira studies Sorasuna's reactions. "Eh, well. I haven't seen a Dragonborn as friendly as you. Last time I met one... Nevermind. What are you guys traveling to Phandelver for?" She asks, before turning towards the Genasi, squinting as though trying to figure out what it is.

"Oh yes," Sorasuna shouted as she stopped just before the corpses of dead horses. "I am quite friendly! And popular too, obviously!" Sorasuna was not really very popular, but she wanted to be so very much.

(Sora has her own hook. Khan'dor seems to be the one who knows the dwarf. Sora drew her weapon cause she misinterpreted Khan'dor's worries toward Rasa as worry about the dead horses. So she is talking over ready to poke the horses with her blade in case they turn out to be undead or something.)

(ooc: well this got interesting quickly) Nyaxan simply ignores Rasazira looking at her then stands up, travelers cloak tightly drawn around her, hood drawn low over her face and looks at the congregation gathering around the long dead horses, and notes that this group already seems to be on edge as weapons have already been drawn, her hand reaching to touch the bottom tip of the unstrung shortbow in her quiver.
